The Sartorialist in Atlanta, Georgia
Finally, Garance and I are making our way to the deep South this Friday, September 17.
The Hagedorn Gallery is hosting an exhibit of my work along with their gallery opening this Friday. Then, we'll be spending 1 or 2 days soaking up Southern style and hospitality.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be shooting in Atlanta early the 17th, Savannah on the 18th and back in Atlanta on the 19th.
So, what do I have to see in Atlanta and in Savannah???
Below are the details for the opening. As always, it's open to the public. I'd love to see y'all there!
Date: Friday, September 17
Time: 7:00PM - 10:00PM

On the Street....Ninth Ave., NYC
So what is more important, fashion or style? I attended a few fashion shows today and I have seen some very "fashionable" young ladies. But, they always come up short when compared to the young ladies doing their own thing.
I know what this season's trends are suppose to be and this young lady doesn't really fit into any of those forecasts and yet she really stood out from all the other pretty young things.

I Had No Idea That Drive-In Theaters Were Still Around
I know I have been in the city for a while, but I had no idea that drive-ins were still out there across America. I was pleasantly shocked at how many I saw in upstate New York. Going to the drive-in has to be one of my favorite memories growing up in Indiana. I thought going to a movie in my pj's was pretty cool.
Are there drive-ins in Europe? If not, you have to visit one when you are in New York.
What Chic French Women Wear To Kayak, Adirondacks, NY
Yes, I was with the only woman on Friends Lake, in upstate New York, wearing leopard pants to kayak. It's so fun to learn about the French concept of exercise and sporty activities. Truth be told, Garance can say that she was with the only guy that tipped over his kayak twice while trying to take pictures. Now I know why they make underwater cameras silver, so you can see them while trying to fish them off of the bottom of the lake.
