While I was in Berlin this Summer I shot a small editorial for Milk magazine celebrating a special line of Adidas sneakers. I love the challenge of casting these shoots with people from the city.

These are great shots, it's refreshing to see something other than the usual ad campaigns for sports wear. Really like the sporty/street wear looks, especially the girls.

The second shot is especially good. Love the idea of using regular folk, although, they look like professional models with those poses. You are "blowin' up", Sartorialist.
Europeans always look so chic in their urban sneakers. I forget to notice how comfortable they must be, too.

Great! I'm so glad that Adidas has eventually lost his fame just to do sports with its clothes.
By the way: I was born half an hour by car of the Adidas main-centre in Herzogenaurach/Germany :)

do you find these people on the street happening to wear the sneakers and then shoot them, or do you get them ready and then shoot them on the street?
Before I see your blog I was watching a programme about sneakers and when I open your webpage you are talking about it. Such coincidence. I love this adidas. My favourite brand sneakers.
Like that the electric blue continues from the edge of the shoe to the underside!

The second picture sells it for me, I want those shoes, love the color. The first picture - I want him to tie up his shoelaces - this does draw attention to the shoes. Great pictures.

East Berlin is uber cool particularly around the Hackescher Markt neighbourhood where the Adidas store is located.
There's a great adidas original store in Berlin. I wonder if you can buy the blue soled ones there...

This is sooo creative! I love the sporty contrasting with the delicate lace and skirt. The color mixture is fabulous as well!
