Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:51 PM) :

I love her boots, I own a pair and they are fantastic. I get SO many compliments on how they can be so versatile!

Anonymous jdit said ... (4:52 PM) :

Something immediate, relaxed and together, casual, loving and natural about holding hands. I make any excuse to hold my lover's hand when she and I are out and about and even when we are not. It is an expression of intimacy that is without age limitation or gender exclusivity and it needs no explanation.

I love the red on her and the all-city boots ready for that all-too-city puddle she will soon navigate.

There is a children's song that starts with the lyrics that are colors: Red and yellow and pink and green, / Purple and orange and blue, / I can sing a rainbow, / sing a rainbow, / sing a rainbow too.

You've caught'em all in this one shot - Just absolutely beautiful Scott!

Fabulous! I feel like I knew this couple earlier in my life... possibly in college (SUNY Purchase)? She especially looks so familiar to me.

Blogger Naviivan said ... (9:26 PM) :

8 for her
8.6 for him

She mixed it perfectly with red and blue and the bag.
My eyes was first on her haircut, because she's wearing cozy + her hair was cozy at the same time. That's why I like her red jumper.
The boots are a bit out of the cozy fit.

Hat + glasses + his trousers, is always a good eye-seeing. If the shirt was outside instead of inside his jeans, it would be nicer. His shoe... Makes his outfit gorgeous.

Blogger Lorien Wood said ... (9:47 PM) :

Oooh, Bean Signature line saddle shoes and Bean boots - that's the way to make a Maine girl's heart beat faster!

Very nice shot; I love this couple's relaxed style.

Disclaimer: I work for L.L.Bean and own lots of Bean footwear myself!

Anonymous best said ... (10:12 PM) :

Some stunning contrasts - plain, chequered and stripes, red and blue - black and white.
Very interesting

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:14 PM) :

What a lovely couple. Her boots aren't LL Bean Signature (pretty sure the signature line only offers black leather - i have a pair). Those look like classic 10" Bean boots. Super functional.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:17 PM) :

They seem youthful and fashionable people- but do they have any style? Can we see a bit of themselves in their attire? I suppose they have the "look" that is in right now, but what else?

Blogger 82Brute said ... (10:19 PM) :

Saddle shoes!!! I'm so excited to see them! I was never able to pull off the look, but I love it when someone does. And my father never ever stopped wearing his with his favorite seersucker jacket. He even had a really beat up pair that he used to paint in. My favorites. The shoes on the gent pictured here are properly well worn to the point of being integral to his personal style. Love them sockless with the pegged pants. Gorgeous couple. Truly eclectic.

Anonymous m. said ... (10:35 PM) :

Anonymous Dana said ... (6:59 AM) :

Good relaxed outfits. This is pretty much the style that my husband and I wear. Laid back and rugged with a bit of interest. I love that Bass weejuns are back. They were so popular when i was about 12 -14 in the 80's. Her boots are dynamite.

Anonymous Kumiko Ide said ... (7:33 AM) :

What a warm, lovely and relaxed photo of this beautiful couple.

I adore their style and keen sense of attention to detail. His outfit in particular, hits all the right notes -- but together, they're even better.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:29 AM) :

I don't think his saddle shoes are from Bean's Signature Collection. I noticed that sole of his shoes is made of leather whereas Bean's saddle shoes come with molded rubber sole.

Nice pic though :)

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:31 AM) :

What I absolutely love about this picture is that it screams unisex. Everything that the girl is wearing, her boyfriend could be wearing and it would still work. Vice versa.

I love her boots never seen them before then i'm from the uk so i guess i wouldn't have. by the way anon "the welfare look" stuck your head above the parapet recently?

Anonymous jdit said ... (5:54 PM) :

There was a time not so long ago when my parents were their age that simple holding hands like that could have gotten them into a lot of serious trouble. all the more serious and tragic for him. I love these times and all the times that have been since those days. I love that I am in love just like how they are in this photograph and can do it express it and live it freely without having to look over my shoulder. The same is true for my son's generation. Such love and carefree abandon. That is what I feel typifies their style and effortless casual ease.

Blogger Kathleen said ... (7:20 PM) :

Shall I say Shabby Chic? Not sure whats happening here, but I like it. They go well together in every way.

Nice mix of colors and patterns, bold and devil may care. Great!

Between the mixed race couple and that multi-color striped bag, they look like a walking - BENETTON - ad.

Cute, but they really remind me of those ads from the 90's and the desire to mix fashion, consumer spending and social awareness. In one ad.

Blogger Lulu said ... (4:31 PM) :

oh, they're so terribly CUTE!!!

(and i LOVE their shoes!)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:21 PM) :

I like her bag, it is great. She is very slim and the pants accentuate that. I like the red sweater, but it is a bit too full for me. I think she has the most delicate features, a sort of sad look on her face as well. She kind of dominates the shot for me, it's all about her beautiful face.

Blogger Limitless Fashion said ... (4:14 PM) :

love this picture

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:21 PM) :

To me the clothes here are beautiful but secondary to the love these two obviously share... The ease that they have with each other makes me want to know them as a couple..
We could have 10 other couples around a long cherry wood table... in a field with children running around and beautiful food and laughter and good conversation...

Blogger Lauren said ... (12:13 AM) :

lovely photo! they DO look like they share a secret! this is, to me, quintessential new york. so very special!

Anonymous Nick said ... (9:27 AM) :

As someone above noted, don't think the saddle shoes are LL Bean - different shape (& soles) entirely. Desperately trying to find slimmer, less round-toed suede saddle shoes like this. Closest I've seen are the YMC ones. Anybody know who makes some like this???

Anonymous Sylvia said ... (10:49 AM) :
