Adorable. He looks like the Little Match Boy. I want to take him home and sit him in front of the fire.

Perfectly charming.

Anonymous CAROLINE said ... (3:06 AM) :

He has this really blank, stoned look. & it's all grey, but different greys. It kind of adds texture on top of the actual texture.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:10 AM) :

unisex-ineida.

Blogger Lorena said ... (3:22 AM) :

This looks so cool and comfortable and I like that they are wearing a blue hat instead of grey or black like the rest of the outfit, it really makes it so much better!

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:22 AM) :

He looks fiercely hot. >:)

I love the hat and the hair coming out of it! always adorable!
but the trousers don't work at all!

Anonymous Sebastian said ... (4:51 AM) :

F*&@ing effortless! pants ftw

Anonymous Catherine said ... (5:19 AM) :

The proportions and volumes are good. Love the coolness attitude!

Blogger Crimsonite said ... (5:30 AM) :

I love the colours, how his standing it all equates to that innate coolness that few men like Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell possess.

Anonymous Nani said ... (5:30 AM) :

How I miss my Docs... It's amazing how practical and confortable they can be...

Un très charmant garçon qui a l'air élégant et très à l'aise.

Blogger SnapandPrint said ... (5:38 AM) :

great look - sorry I missed him last week ...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:27 AM) :

Very cool young guy his look is stylish rather than 'fashionable'.
This look says more about self expression than money spent.
Funky but Chic as the New York Dolls so aptly put it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:40 AM) :

Great!! Again in Le Marais! :)

Blogger davidikus said ... (7:43 AM) :

I love the Rue Vieille du Temple. I used to work at Haute Couture house Lecoanet-Hémant inside number 24. This guy looks really good too, perhaps he is taking a bit too much care of himself but the looks mostly works.

Well done.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:45 AM) :

the thing about his style is that he doesn't seem to have tried too hard. the french rocks!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:46 AM) :

Hey Scott every second picture seems to feature a cigarette is this a deliberate "style" choice

Anonymous David Salinas said ... (8:02 AM) :

If the devil wears Prada, then her son wears Martens. He is so pretty.

Blogger Jorge from W Palm Beach said ... (8:02 AM) :

I always love the drape of a wool jacket (tweed?) after it has been worn for a long time. The Doc Martens are also very well worn-in, and the leather looks soft. Although I dont much care about the pants, this is a great outfit! Jorge from WPB

Anonymous Sophie said ... (8:11 AM) :

That is one gorgeous slouch.

Blogger Badaude said ... (8:17 AM) :

You can always find the prettiest things while shopping in the rue Vielle du Temple...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:19 AM) :

Too grey!

Blogger Kathleen said ... (8:19 AM) :

Its a good thing to see that Doctor Martins will never go out of style, and nice to see he has kept his pair in great condition by actually taking care of them. Good for him! This young man is dressed so beautifully. I love the many hues of gray he has used. I digress, tonal pairing of clothes to make an outfit or "look" is a passion of mine. It takes great taste and artistic eye to put tone upon tone together without going over the top and overdoing it. He is lovely!

Blogger Ozwald Boateng said ... (8:26 AM) :

What eyes! It also makes me very happy to see Doc Martens on a man. Could 90s grunge be making a comeback?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:42 AM) :

Cant see what the fuss is about.
Drab!

Love the move towards wider legged trousers. The time of skinny jeans has come and gone again. Brilliant use of texture and monochrome.

Blogger Nedda Ebo said ... (5:08 PM) :

He's really beautiful, and stylish. Love the doc martens. x

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:35 PM) :

How very quintessentially "French". He reminds me of the men in the French film La Belle Personne; so beautiful!

Blogger Alan Li said ... (5:50 PM) :

I love this whole outfit. It is so relaxed and chill but chic at the same time. The boots are pretty cool as well and his looks aren't bad either ;)

Anonymous Allie P. said ... (6:14 PM) :

Blogger Baron-Münchhausen said ... (10:34 PM) :

he's so touching, and a scarf - amazing

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:09 AM) :

He makes the Oliver Twist look stylish. Like the greys and the draping.

Anonymous Sophie said ... (1:46 AM) :

he looks mildly peeved, and somewhat like a model dressed up for a photo shoot that is bum themed. Even though it is trousers, boots, coat, scarf, hat, bag... i.e. the outfit that millions of men are wearing all around the world right this second... he has an attitude that is very interesting.

If only he wasn't holding that cigarette... it's the worst accessory. I'll hope it's a pen!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:58 AM) :

I love this new cut of pants. It reminds me of the suits John Lurie wore in the Lounge Lizards. Too cool!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:46 AM) :

Absolutely neglectingly charming!

Blogger Bela said ... (8:57 PM) :

I went to school Rue Vieille-du-Temple (back in the early '60s). The buildings were dark grey (they hadn't been cleaned since the 17th century) and the people weren't so stylish, but they were 'real'.

Anonymous Jerzy Jana Kazimierz Ciszak said ... (10:16 PM) :

RIMBAUD!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:47 AM) :

Does anybody know where I could find some great vintage clothing shops in Paris ?
