Brilliant! Like a scene from a film noir - I want the sunglasses...
He gives Don Draper a run for his hair gel.

These vintage photos are great. Could you create a 'Category' on the right-hand column of your site for 'Vintage'? That might be useful as you post more and more of these. Just an idea!
Best,
Melinda
I love vintage photos. I always think its amazing how style was back then and how it relates to now. Plus they just look delish! (:

I wish people still wore suits when they sat on grass.
love his style.
Just wonderful.
Probably one of my favourites out of the ones you've posted.
Reminds me of Peter Pan a bit: magical in a way.
As I said, love it.
this one is a great sample of how the suit was a regular clothing set-up and not strictly for special occasions. also, this makes me think of an off-duty superhero looking at the want ads.

What a fashionable man was my first thought! he's sunglasses are really funky..
this is fabulous
When looking at old photos from the 1930's, 40's, and 50's, I notice that a lot of people did not distinguish between "work" clothes and "play" clothes.
There's plenty of photo evidence of men at ball games and boxing matches in suits, and housewives shopping downtown in their Sunday best.
It's interesting to me because I can't help but think that the fibers and materials were not comfortable back then, especially in warm and hot weather.
The irony is that today, when you can buy a worsted wool suit or dress slacks that are as comfortable as a pair of jeans, yet almost no one wears them, and certainly not outside the workplace.
all i can say is WOW
Vintage........the cigarette's too........!

Again i just love vintage!
I always liked that Charles Nelson Reilly.
This man reminds me of Hamish Bowles for some reason.
Vintage style is always the best. Love the glasses. This is George C. Scott, no?
Great glasses. I do love old photos, everyone looks like a movie star!
I love seeing men in suits doing casual activities. It surprises me just as much when I see men in Europe riding a bicycle while wearing a suit. I know it's fairly common there, but nobody in Atlanta would ride a bike in anything but full on athletic gear.

Oh, the swag!
This is an absolutely awesome photo
Gorgeous Man!
True classic look. Looks like some of the items men are looking for today.
Looks like the suits my dad wore during the late 30's and early 40's! Such class!
Finally! A picture of someone who DOESN'T look as though he ran through the pile of laundry in the corner of his TriBeca loft.
Refreshing
Love it
