Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:38 PM) :

I wonder if this photo was tinted in some way. That would explain why the woman's shoes match the umbrellas so perfectly. Also most of the tones are in orange and blue. The man is wearing blue clothes and some people in the mid-ground are wearing the same blue. Yes you certainly can see Lanvin and the Carlton Hotel.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:46 PM) :

Blogger Barcelona m'enamora said ... (10:51 PM) :

Everything is well combined!!! So orange...the shoes, the umbrellas, and the sun!

I love the perspective of the photo...

Regards from Barcelona.

Blogger Rococo Le Monde said ... (11:15 PM) :

I will send a photo when its finished!! It has beautiful perspective, with the complimentary blue and orange hues. Oh my, so excited.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:03 AM) :

Great pic and it's Cannes alright, I know the place well. At the far end right of the pic you can see two sort of black towers.

That's the Carlton Hotel :

Cheers ;)

Blogger +cez+ said ... (7:20 AM) :

Definitely Cote d'Azur. That's Cannes, isn't it?!

Anonymous Sartor Resartus said ... (3:58 AM) :

They look square but still very "modern". Things were more layered and repressed back then and it gave people more radiant energy and style. They couldn't/didn't just let it all hang out. She knows how hot she is and her leg positioning is classic pinup. I like how his espadrilles coordinate with his trousers and shirt. ;-)
