Comments on "On the Street....Jacques, Florence"
GREAT STYLE!
I just love the modern and unpreppy looking Jacques!
hair disheveled, he
recalled places to be; lax,
but on time, arrives,
caring little for
jaunty unironed pockets.
a welcoming smile.
Yes, on the lovely, natural color coordination!
I love the stripes

see all these pictures and it seems another world. im Hugo from la plata, argentina.. people wearing is SO BORING and basic here, its a kind of fear to "what would they say if.." so typical of smalltown haha.. looove
Just my style!
This is what I am talking about when I say "street style".... Please no more run way or magazines... Just street fashion...

Fantastic! Seersucker can seem way out of date but he succeeds at somehow bringing it up to date...elegantly.
I love Jacques's smile the most and also his wrinkles, you can tell this guy has lived every one of them !
That is one sexy beast.
This is why I love your blog.
It highlights why men all men should groom and dress well.
Thank you.
Just a Silhouette
Great style, great smile.
What an attractive gentleman! I guess it's because he looked so comfortable and relaxed. The take away lesson for me is that a man does not have to be a beefcake to be masculine and sexy...just have self-confidence. His whole carriage, his sense of style, and his killer smile! Uh...melting!
this guy truly has style!!

nothing finer than seersucker in the summer.
What a charming smile, and you can see it all the way up in his eyes!
great style and great smile
How can a seersucker suit ever be "unpreppy"? Doffing the striped web belt is not enough.
He looks radiant with health. That magnifies anyone's style quotient. Inspiring photo.
I'd love to find me a Jacques!
If I saw a gent like that on my street on a hot summer day I do not know if I could resist giving him a kiss.
Yeah, the hair-suit combination rocks!

Unpreppy - another name for sloppy.
Wow - if not always I most of the times use a belt, but great look.

One day, this will be a great vintage photograph, because it has the components of unstudied, nonchalance which is a common trait of all the vintage photos you feature.
I really like to see men who take care of themselves, stylish men, sartorial men.
I like his style.
What a nice smile! Makes you wonder what you two were talking about. Seersucker is always good.
well, I know that he's always looking smart because I see him all the time when I go to his shop in Toulouse,he's really polished !
yes, very nice!
Forget his suit. Wonderful smile!
i agree that he pulls this look off incredibly well but seersucker, sir, is by definition, preppy.
Muy elegante.
So beautiful for summer, no belt, loose and wrinkled, big smile, wonder what shoes has has on...

twofoureightonenine..
What a sexy looking man.
such nicely done.
This man looks stunning. His outfit displays a fun, happy and just together personality. Totally dig the hair and tan too.
He's perfect !xxxx
This is one very very handsome and sexy man ;)))
In my imagination, he's wearing Supergas. Gray ones. Tan ankles. - Andy
oh,his sunny smile makes me want to smile, too.it's great for people to smile so happily like this gentle<3
I do love a seersucker suit more than I probably should.
Where's the belt?
Such a pity UK men don't look like this as they mature!!!
ELEGANT
& sympathetic laughter !
Likeable Photo.
"unPreppy manner"..Exactly! This is how you wear a seersucker suit.
when people start to go grey..they make the mistake of reaching for black apparel..
when they should reach for white.
it adds colour to the face...suntanned or not.
nothing more elegant than an impeccable white shirt.
love the no tie look.
Another brilliant Sarorialist discovery. Fantastic. Thank you. The suit itself is worth a comment--unlike most of its kind, this one is positively sleek, the antithesis of the baggy-ass, preppy-doofus seersucker suits that seem to be available (at least off the rack/peg). Is this superb suit Italian? Fellow Sartorialists: does anyone have any idea where I might find something similar?
I need to get my seersucker and sport as well as this guy. He has it down pat--all the way!!
