That second pic is going in my brain bank of "inspirational outfits"...and I want that necklace!
She's still stunning.

Beautiful pictures,
saludos,

That is absolutely amazing. I don't think I would recognized her if she was my best friend. I wonder what prompts her to make such a tremendous change.

Wow. I love both of these images! That is really a transformation though, I still wouldn't think they are the same person unless you told me.
The black dress is amazing!!!

Incredible!
Salut!
Franka
that change in style is incredible.... switching between such strong personas really proves true skill and mastering of syle - not just your own, but that of other's too. Impressive.
I do love the variety, the invention, the re-invention.
Mega Stunning
Mega Class
Mega Fashion!

Very dramatic dress and I love it!
the devil is in the details: the ring of the more recent picture is the heritage of the former mindset ...
her dress is gorgeous.
STUNNING, but wow, what a transformation, too!
I love it when people can change their look so drastically while still keeping true to some of their inner elements.
love this necklace so much!
What an incredibly special persona. Thanks for the link Scott, it made Garance's post even better.

Total contrast, but she looks great in both.

CAMPAIGN: CLAUDIA SCHIFFER by CHANEL http://t.co/Gki4U0o
Are you SURE that's the same person???
I love that she has changed her look that much - it is amazing! I guess a new haircut deserves a new look and she is clearly very creative (she designs jewellery i think) - top post! x

Super power!!!
You are right!! I wish you photographed Madonna!!
Love the lace dress :D
Follow me, if you still aren't ;)

Her transition from pastels
to charcoal on the
canvas of her life-- inspires.
That dress is very Audrey Hepburn
Stunning dress

Really great change. Both looks are super. But her eyes are sad.
I love this red necklace and her attitude is amazing!!
Wow! Looks like a completely different person! I love her style.
Goodness that dress! how adorable.
I did not recognize her! She is still beautiful in both photos!

Love both looks...especially the lace dress! Beautiful!
oh my god that's such a difference!! she looks incredible in both styles - new icon!!!

Love both looks...especially the lace dress! Beautiful!
Magnificent dress! Love the pumps, keeping the outfit unfussy
I like both outfits. But the dark hair and neutral palette is much better. God change. I suppose its mostly a hair change, and then everything else went with it.
I did see Garance's post from yesterday and I am shocked. She does not seem like the same person.
Wow, what a difference.
oh yes i saw her there, never would have recognised her!!
http://flysongbird.blogspot.com
That is quite a transformation! No wonder you didn't recognize her.
The Styleseer

I cannot believe that is the same person - just wonderful.
I already commented on the post yesterday but I may as well credit her beauty on here, too. Stunning dress.

or vise versa --> highly AMBITIOUS people have the CREATIVITY to constantly evolve.
?
hehe =)
Both photos are beautiful and stunning, I particularly love the first look, that dress is a stunner. Though she looks much more sad and almost ill in the recent photograph. As though something tragic aged her- But again, its a beautiful look none the less
I she was so lovely in Garance's post. Hardly recognizable from your photo, but she is equally singular in her style!
I love the ability to evolve in fashion. Getting stuck in one image can really limit one's personal style. She looks gorgeous in both pictures!
lovely dress
Yes that's definitely Michelle Jank in both pics. The neck piece is her own. She has been creating them for years. Look her up - she's an amazing designer. Elaine
amazing outfit I love the first one
Yes she looked amazing

BELLA BELLA..WOW the colors are great too!!!

One amazing lady, love her work.
Love this look, so easy to achieve
the black vintage.......looks heavy maybe on stage not for me
actually i don't care for her as a blonde either
That crinoline skirt is the bee's knees. All six of them.
I really enjoy this post. It's so interesting to see the change in her style and hair. Her dress is also the cutest/edgiest thing ever, which is probably why I adore it so!

Funky post.

She is so amazing, creates adorable jewellery and owns whatever style she adapts. Was the latter pic when she was stylist for Tsubi?
Her hair is perfect
Woah - wild transformation. Both beautiful images & looks.

My two adult daughters tell me women cut and restyle their hair after a big breakup. Classic case?
Wow! Talk about a total transformation! I absolutely love her look in the second picture, it's effortless and charming.

Great contrast! The face seems to me to tell the same story though, and I'm sort of thinking it's not all happy. The change might be a positive attempt to evolve, but the face makes me think she's running away or trying to be distracted. She's definitely a strong person though. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your work.
Wow, I can't believe that's the same woman! I mean, of course I can, but it is such a ballsy and amazing transformation! Makes me want to go chop off my hair or dye it platinum or something!
http://nomadic-d.blogspot.com/
Very nice photo. Super model
Minor quibble: I think the light makeup with the dominating black hair and dress is overwhelming. A touch of color to the lips and cheeks would've made her look livelier. This is a minor nitpick, though. She is quite beautiful and stylishly put together otherwise. It takes a lot of courage to reinvent yourself like that. It's nice to see somebody so in touch with their creative aspect.
amazing

Wow!!! that´s reinveinting style, i would´t recognize her i you didn´t told us!!!
That's amazing how she has changed! BTW, I love both blogs: yours and G.D's as well!
isnt this a picture of last summer?
its still gorgeous though.
Love Michelle – the ultimate style chameleon!
She worked on this year’s L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival and was amazing! Check out her style on the runway here http://www.lmff.com.au/lmff-tv/lmff-2011/lmff-2011-day-1.
wow - what an incredible change! she looks great on both pictures - from head to toe actually (as far as you can see them)
Loving the lace dress and the bag, it loks like the "wu bag"
http://fashiondoesntexist.blogspot.com/
Cool Australian chick. Great photo's xxx
Personally I don't find such radical changes very interesting. I love it when people have a very defined sense of personal style and stick to it throughout the years... Of course there's room for improvement and evolution, but the foundations are the same. But that's just me! She proves however that she's a very creative person!
Great look! I love it!))
What a cleaver girl ........!

I love the bracelets... very funky and cool!
this dress is gorgeous!

Love the second pic. The bracelets make the outfit for me. And the nonchalant rips in the jeans..

the last pic is my favorite :)

the second look is so colourful and full of life! altough her face expression is more serious, she looks so much more alive!!.. Good job!

Wow i would not have recognised her either!!! especially due to the lack of her usual fabulous jewelery adornment!
http://girl-finding-perfection.blogspot.com/
An inspirational Aussie :) always loved her style, she's an icon!
Two beautiful looks for the day. I think i prefer her as a blonde, but the fact that she can pull of a brunette bob as well says a lot!
As a fellow IU apparel merchandising student with a passion for fashion and photography and the common drive to combine the two, posts like these are inspiring.

Such a beautiful Photo!
www.jakeanddavies.com
red lips& red roses... impressive!
WOW what a change. I loved both of the styles, but the black dress is so fab! She sure is a kameleon;)
Love the black dress! Beautiful!
Fashion comes in many forms...
I'm hoping that Scott didn't mean chameleon. A chameleon is a creature that has capacity to blend into or match its surroundings (to not stand out...in order to protect themselves). This woman has evolving and dynamic personal style. Not exactly a chameleon. :)
I had the pleasure to work with Michelle on a shoot in Australia. She is incredibly talented and a super friendly person!
She looks amazing in both! Completely unrecognisable though
absolutely love what she put together!
This looks like two totally different women but she is stunning in the black dress. I can't help but wonder where she's going?
from 1980's to 1950's..by way of a cut with colour...and clothing to match the decade.
