cool!
Gotta love suspenders!!
Hipster.
I admire his sense of style and his courage.
He looks so serious! But the outfit is great. Simple, yet stylish.

I met this guy at a party once. He was rapping.
Crikey, is it warm enough in NY for that outfit? I gotta move.
Love this look!!!

the clothes he wears fits his skin-tone.

nice!

Impeccable style

Its a very beautiful photo, but I have to questions the realisticness of his outfit. Who and where other than college can you pull this off? I would have say that everything is far to cropped even if I look at it in a fashion forward point of view.

bag <3
nice one
dandy + retro!

oh i love it, like he stepped out of an ancient picture...
Great hair and bag!
theBohmerian
oxfords would have made this work better but i really like his look, even if i'm afraid he is going to get beat up by some bullies. ...oh, wait, he's an adult!
70's SOHO
á la David Byrne
sans highwaters.
I love this style so so much...for both, gents and ladies

I always wanted to be red....
with cognac leather is alays fantastic!!!!!
adorable
He's very urban-Amish, and yet it works...on him. Not something to be replicated, though.
L'homme le plus classe du monde! J'adore!
To me, this look has its roots in the British/Jamaican-influenced rude boy/suedehead look of the late '60s, which is reflected in almost every single detail: from the closely cropped hairstyle to the tucked-in short-sleeved button down shirt to the desert boots and thin suspenders.
And yet, he doesn't look dated or out of place at all; probably due to the timelessness of this style, and the fact that he put in little details of his own: the briefcase, avoiding socks, and the neutral color combination, for starters.
He's also taken the look in a less utalitarian, more elegant direction with the way he's mixed all these elements together (and by wisely avoiding chunky footwear). I really wonder how premeditated or calculated his choices were. Beautifully done, regardless!
cute

The intensity of his face is great--you've captured a wonderful moment.
And of course I like the spot of red in the sea of neutrals.
Totally unexpected!
I loved your "eye" for those things!
Chez Carolinette
Very retro silhouette. I love it!

Someone needs to tickle him, so serious.
He's kickin it in this outfit. It has just the right amount of quirk. I love this.
Awesome street, which is why I call it home. Great bag.
Very vintage look. But I agree with the person who's not sure about the highwaters. Hmmmm...
The color of his briefcase is beautiful...

Its a nice clean look, well tailored, and flattering to his figure, however, the whole look creates associations with a schoolboy look from the 1920's or something. I don't know if grown men should ever look like little boys.
just unroll your pants a bit more...please...all else is perfect...
luv the look!
I'm a total sucker for suspenders.

much love.
Enlightened comments.I have a better sense of what's happening here. Initially I was bewildered upon spying this picture. This young chap's outfit reminds me of Monty Python's send up of 'challenged' youth!
Your eye is amazing, the pallets in the background, all the structures , the verticals - great photo
amazing look, the bag is the best
It's totally the environment that makes this photo. Lov eit!
love the bag
101th post :)

Earthy colors and great photo (as always) http://oslolook.blogspot.com/

i am not at all sure about those cropped pants..xx meenal
I am sorry but those naked pale legs are not working for me.
However I love his face, he doesn't give a damn what I think of his trouser length.
The briefcase looks vintage coach...I have the same one from the mid 80's in a darker brown....
If he tries to awaken the mothering instincts in the opposite sex, he sure is succeeding with me. Darling!
Like this classic summer's "chicnesss" !!

Now, this is a strong look.
This outfit is great. The colours and the background looks suitable together. I like this picture a lot!
Nice!
I like the hair as well

great look! the bag is cool!
the-stylish-citizen.com
It reminds me of a man taken out of a gangster film, like travelling to the 50's
Sorry, I don't care for the pant length.
I enjoy all the pics you post :)

I love suspenders, on a man or woman
such a brilliant look.
www.styleisalwaysfashionable.blogspot.com
great look! :)
Add a little bow tie and he would be spot on.
I like an above ankle pant length, and I like a rolled up small sleeve, but not together. I think it looks better to have one regular, or even loose and long, than both halves looking as if you accidentally put the dryer on high for an hour. The proportions are just off, not in a good way, and it looks uncomfortable.
But obviously, I am in the huge minority with this opinion!
Are those clip-on braces???
unfortunately ankle boots cover the very bit that should be exposed; the ankle, not the bit of leg above it.
Wow! He looks so serious. As if he just stepped out of the depression era kind of serious, yet it definitely works! Amazing.
http://onlywhenyoure17.blogspot.com/
He pulls this look off splendidly, not many could I think!
i like this girl
shes doing her own thing very original
theres something sad about her as well cant quite put my finger on it but i love it!

Love everything above the waist - suspenders, cuffed short sleeves, the severe haircut and expression. Hate the trouser length - or maybe I would like it with a lighter colored shoe. I don't know, it just seems so off with the dark boot. His briefcase is amazing though.
Not feeling those pants and shoes. just doesn't look right to me

He always has impeccable style.
great style!!!
I like everything except the last 7 inches. the bare ankle sticking out the boot bothers me somehow. It looks uncomfortable doesn't flatter his legs at all. It turns it from cool and sharp to forest gump like imho
That was awesome! Cool!
I love vintage look!
http://milanboya.blogspot.com/
clip on braces are a don't. As are braces w/ belt loops. I like the overall look, though.
Very difficult to take seriously...so I won't!
i dont usually like cropped pants but he pulls it off well! love the suspenders too!
he's adorable. i love his intense face.
and, what made his look anything other than odd?
so sexy and smart... love it
Love the Gumby look!
Great bag.
he's got a great style!
I love this vintage look. I have remembered "La Vita è Bella" film.
Oh! i love your blog! i love clothes, and specialy men clothes
...
best regards from spain =)
Would have liked it better if it weren't clipons and the shirt should have been a long sleeve. Never understood shortsleeve shirts. Just my 2 cents.
http://www.ourbubble.nl
Great look... perfect for the summer weather and who doesn't love some suspenders!
Great pic!
boom-now.blogspot.com
Gotta love the hair! It is awesome!
I would like to know where he works...
I don't like short sleeve shirts but this actually looks good
it's pretty. very simple and elegant. i love it.
Ah, the subtle difference between baring some ankle and wearing trousers that are too short.
takes me back in the days
http://noblebrands4less.blogspot.com/
come on, he looks ridiculous!
where is he going! seriously. i want to know.
He looks like he's going to a Partei rally in 1933.
I appreciate the courage, but it just seems too forced. Definitely interesting though! I dig the colors.
Totally dig for this look!!
Classic yet edgy!!
http://titoley.wordpress.com
ridiculous pant length... just can't get used to this trend. I like men looking like men not boys
