The clashing prints on his bottom's are really amazing!
Love it.
Love the skirt and the shoes,
could do with a different jacket,
but hey, he still looks awesome.

^^^ seriously in need of some feedback on my photography.
great shoot!
His whole look is about self-expression. From the print to the booties.

He wears this well very organic
Nice shot, but I'm not crazy about this look tbh..
Hmm, I don't know..
That's a curious skirt, but a nice combination indeed
Great photo. I just love the woven skirt. The shoes are cool too.
hard to tell...pants or skirt...either way I really like it.

Centre Street is actually one of my favorite places to do street photography -- so gritty and real and quintessentially New York.
His unkempt look and blissful ignorance of that fact that you're photographing him are great. A nice departure from your usual streetstyle shots.

there are so many different street styles in NYC, it must be a fashion photographer's paradise
i love the bright print against the grey, looks awesome.

just the other day, i had a conversation about how shocking Boy George's aesthetic was back when we were growing up... Now Boy George's aesthetic is a lot less shocking and we have this picture (and the man's lovely skirt) as evidence!
I actually LOVE the skirt and shoes!!!

I love this native bohemian look. Yet I kind of wish the shoes were new and shiny which would of made the whole mix seem more deliberate.

something about this, from this angle, is strangely sexy. the details. even the schlumpy hoodie - it doesn't have a standard collar. the skirt has a hidden pocket and the boots have the side zip. much love.
Yohji Yamamoto grunge ( in a good way).
Hi Scott! We have just published a post about Garance and you from Paris fashion week. There are pictures I took of both of you! You are so awesome together! Much love

THE PRADA SPRING-STYLE IN THE STREET: ETHNIC & STRIPES. IGNACIO BENJAMIN FRON SEVILLA ( SPAIN )
Normally I would say no to men in skirts, but he wears it well & it actually suits him!

He looks perfect .. cool, fearless and a insouciant.. I love it !

This looks so right on him. He just looks like he is comfortable in his skin and is not afraid to express it in his clothing.
i don't really see his clothes. i see that he is relaxed w/ himself which saying alot for a guy w/ a skirt on : )
COOL!! :D
Hugs
Samoan maybe? The traditional dress is very similar. I like.

Very astonishing and remarkable skirt!

I want to meet this guy. I wish more men felt comfortable in sarongs. I am taken back to years spent in Indonesia where men knew how to make skirts look seriously tough and sexy.
oh! love this is style!!!!!!

Ahh such a good find in NYC, awesome boots.
this is what I think of when I think "street" fashion, unstudied and expressive. Bravo.
wow, really cool outfit

He's got interesting style, and it's a great photo! It speaks a lot!
Great skirt! The jacket, hat, and boots look fab with it, but his confidence is his best accessory.
This really speaks to me: the fabrics, the loose cut, the indian blanket print with the bold red, right down to the scuffed boots with matching socks. Moreover, he wears it so well, it almost becomes incidental that he is in a skirt.
Love that pattern.

love the hat and the bottoms!
xo
this is super cool!!
This is a genuinely interesting look that combines being avante garde, stylish wearable all in one . Fantastic.
When I think of men in skirts, usually Jean Paul Gaultier comes to my mind. This guy can pull it off, too. It looks very natural and grungy on him.

Asians really have that special sense of style

bottom print perfect..cool pose!
I love how the skirt matches the socks..
Cool skirt&print!

his style looks effortless.
I love a man who can - and will - wear a skirt. His looks like it was made from a vintage Pendleton blanket.
I do love a man in a skirt. There is something terrifically sexy about a guy with this kind of nonchalance.
These rare birds are truly unbound by fashion norms, almost unaware of social convention.
Authentic style! anything better?? love this guy! work it till the death!

No exactly my style - and generally the one I like the most...

Absolutely love it.Comfortable, relaxed and super-stylish. I wish more men would dress this fearlessly.
I wish everyone's that brave when it comes to fashion!

I missed real street fashion photographs on this blog, and even i wasn't cehecking The Sartorialist for a while. But these days you came back. That's very nice.
Inmejorable.
¿Qué lleva una falda?
Me encanta
Just plain ole' hilarious, great pic www.copperetiquette.com
Love this angle, and the way the Chinese characters speak to the pattern on the skirt.

Definitely of the breed of strangers you see for a brief moment but whose image will linger in your head hours afterwards. The type of person we all love to imagine a scenario about.
Wow. Gorgeously cool. How is it a guy in a skirt looks a thousand times more masculine than any guy in skinny jeans I've seen yet?
Men seriously need to wear more skirts. This is very cool.
man wearing a skirt? that's brave. i love it!
He's one of those guys I can't tell whether I find them uber cool or not.
H O T!!!!!!
Nice stil! I am wear skirt.
Nice stil: Iam wear skirt too and i am a guy.
