I'm not a fan of the shorter length pants on men. Girls can pull it off w/heels. On men however it makes their legs appear very short!

there is a but :(..sorry!.. but his trouser length just isnt quite right somehow, i think they're not short enough? maybe a little bit of sock showing would make it work?

Apparently I am in the minority here, but I find the proportions to be all wrong. He is really that stocky on top or is this just a David Byrne circa 1983 look? And the short pants with that coat makes it look like he raided his sons closet. Great individual elements, but together + the weird sizing? Bleck.

As I was scrolling down to look at this photo the following thoughts went through my mind:
...nice coat
...nice scarf
...nice pan...ANOTHER guy who can't buy pants that fit?! When will this nonsensical trouser length fad END?
...nice chukka boots, but those annoyingly short pants!
I can only hope he is looking at a mannequin in the window that has pants the PROPER length for a grown man...and he is on the verge of an epiphany.
I agree with the comment above. I wondered if there would be weight comments about this photo - no debate raging on what words to use. I know that there are body image issues for men, but nothing stirs more comments still other than women's weight. I love this blog, it's creative, smart and inspiring, but I don't think it diversly represents women. It may have age diversity, but I think it stops there. There aren't many pictures of women who are not model thin.
