Really great collection! The coat on the third picture - easily the most adorable piece of clothing I've seen in a while.
(The last dress looks like in a car wash, though.)

A couple of the models actually had some breasts (photo5) and some full figured fashions as well. In that regard this show was different and interesting

Blogger verychiclist said ... (4:12 PM) :

It was one of my favourites of Milan Fashion Week, I loved much more the second part of the collection that broke the usual style of Pucci prints. Very glamorous.

Awwww!! So classic!! Beautiful fabrics and textures.

Blogger caribbelle said ... (7:24 PM) :

I literally gasped when the pictures loaded onto my screen. GASPED. This line is everything a girl could dream of. That navy dress with the gold embellishments and lace detail on the neck line... I'd sign over the rights of my perpetual first born for. But since that's not in the foreseeable future I'll settle to making something similar on my little Brother sewing machine. Everything is beautiful but all the brocade detail has me. So meticulous... its beautiful. Sorry for the mini novel

Blogger Evainny said ... (7:54 PM) :

i loved the collection and the casting, too!
but just to clear things up: matthew williamson left pucci a while ago, it's peter dundas designing there now.

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:03 PM) :

So gorgeous. That coat is to die for.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:04 PM) :

just gorgeous. touches of the medieval. Love it

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:10 PM) :

the models are gorgeous... very feline

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:13 PM) :

gorgeous. but i really love the shoes!

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:24 PM) :

I dont usually comment, but the models do seem different in the past few posts. I was reading an article on the NY times website a few weeks ago where the author mentioned the models "gaining a few years and pounds" and I couldn't believe it. Its great to see some of the models with some real life figure, rather than skin stretched over bone. Its depressing to think that any of these women would be considered overweight in any sense of the word.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:41 PM) :

I am not too excited by this collection, except for the blue dress at the end.

Anonymous The Bohemienne said ... (9:43 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:12 PM) :

Blogger Allie Emme said ... (10:34 PM) :

Love the second look specifically the color combination.

Blogger Alex Adamson said ... (10:38 PM) :

I love the clean pulled back hair. Simple and chic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:09 PM) :

The clothes are elegant and the models are lovely. However, I do have to say that last girl looks like she's being eaten by a blue tribble.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:10 PM) :

Pucci is absolutely not my style, yet I can't help but to watch this show on Youtube over and over again. There's something addictive about it and the music they played (Daft Punk I believe).

Anonymous naftali stern @ The Bohmerian said ... (11:34 PM) :

These are all great! My fav is the last one, the dress with all the blue feathers.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:09 AM) :

Blogger about said ... (12:40 AM) :

I love isabeli fontana. I am so happy to see her on the runways in Milan. Pucci blew me away. It was a clever mix of the house's prints it's known for, mixed in with a victorian era style which was beautiful.

Blogger Kirsten said ... (12:44 AM) :

I love the blue fur dress. I would wear that any day.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:44 AM) :

Peter Dundaas is a genious! The sculpturing is amazing, and I love the fuchsia coloured pants! The show looked spectacular.I wish I was there! Great pictures Scott!

Anonymous Corve DaCosta said ... (1:57 AM) :

i loved this show

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:59 AM) :

please, no more fashion show pictures. that's not what i am here for. i wanna see more everyday life pictures of people wearing nice clothes, rather than constructed mono-label outfits.

Blogger Ezra Light said ... (2:05 AM) :

everything is gorgeous!!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:16 AM) :

It's a little bit funny for me, living in Munich, to hear some opinions that some trousers look like what you call Lederhosen and wear at the Oktoberfest - but the Pucci collection is just great, to say it in one word.

Anonymous CarolineJ said ... (4:26 AM) :

Wow, those are so beautiful !

Blogger Glass and Splinters said ... (4:43 AM) :

I couldn't help but notice the blue feathery 'wrap' gave the girl in the front row a chuckle!

Blogger Anastasios said ... (5:09 AM) :

Blogger Maowel said ... (7:41 AM) :

In a rather boring series of outings so far, Pucci's Fall-Winter 2011 collection seems like the very best one so far! Glamourous, confident, immensely sexy... Bravo Dundas!

Blogger San said ... (8:14 AM) :

Really amazing, so glamorous and stylish. Love them. And I want the grean coat.

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:15 AM) :

When WIlliamson left Pucci I didn't like a lot Dundas, but with these last colelction I have to riconsider my idea. I lvoe the feather, the sex appeal of his creations...cool!

Blogger San said ... (8:15 AM) :

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:15 AM) :

i simply adore the green velvet suit & big fur coat.

Anonymous Maryanne said ... (10:52 AM) :

yes to the black dress with the gold passementerie.

the powder puff blue confection reminds me of that YSL dress from the late 60's...which was revived in the late 80's

this collection had quite a bit of 1980's references.

Blogger Matthew said ... (11:16 AM) :

gorgeous...but the last piece is really giving me Big Bird mated with Cookie Monster

Blogger Underground Ladies said ... (12:41 PM) :

I love the dress of Natasha Poly, beautiful !

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:05 PM) :

I was enchanted by the facial expressions of the woman wearing the fur in the audience.
Intended or not, it tells a story far more intriguing than the clothes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:05 PM) :

That first model is Rachel McAdam's doppelganger. Not a bad thing, altogether, for either of them!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:32 PM) :

oh wow...i love everything, but i really want the purple pants

Blogger Robert Glenn Smith said ... (3:57 PM) :

This was by far my favorite show that you have covered so far. Enough practicality in the designs to make one think, "I can see myself in that."

Great use of texture.

Anonymous MGF said ... (4:23 PM) :

waa this is awesome.
Isabeli is a godess and Dundas a genious.

Anonymous Sophie Mhabille said ... (4:58 PM) :

Anonymous Marisa said ... (8:19 PM) :

I didn't know Pucci was sexy!

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:39 PM) :

That blue dress with the gold filigree-like beading is gorgeous. I'm so glad the women walking these recent runways don't look half-staved.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:00 AM) :

Anonymous Helen said ... (8:58 AM) :

Deep color, texture, vixen. LOVE it!

Anonymous Doorknobs And Daiquiris said ... (9:52 AM) :

Refreshingly feminine and sexy!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:04 PM) :

we prefer the street pics

Anonymous ak said ... (9:20 PM) :

This all looks so hot especially all of the dresses and the bright purple pants! The girl in the dress with the gold brocade at the front looks like Helena Christensen or Frankie Rayder.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:36 AM) :

The dress of the 5th picture, gold brocade, is so feminine and sexy. And they selected the perfect model to wear it, with latin / italian curves. This is the kind of dress I'd love to be dressed in...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:59 AM) :

third from the bottom is fabulous: you don't see many designers taking such strong influence from the 16th century bodice dress.

and the last one is divine!

Anonymous Mama'sBoy said ... (11:09 PM) :

Interesting. But unfocused and untrue to the spirit of Pucci.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:43 AM) :

I have never understood clothes that seem designed for the sole purpose of communicating wealth - especially, as these do, the wealth of another era. Do we want to be Medici's or modern women?

Blogger mnlop said ... (10:17 PM) :

For me this collection is a miss. Though I get the story of the collection it doesn't feel self-assured. I love Pucci and would never want any of these pieces.
