Blogger Amy said ... (5:51 PM) :

LOVE it! With that forest green hat and golden yellow cravat, it's like he's Thoreau. If Thoreau were happy and had wire-rimmed glasses. It's as if you caught him as he was about to step inside his cabin by Walden Pond...although most likely that's a cityscape behind him :)

Blogger Naviivan said ... (6:21 PM) :

I notice that the glasses are so beautiful, me myself don't wear glasses but I almost see every people wearing plastic glasses. Maybe that's better when it falls off, but it's also less chic.

Blogger street number eight said ... (6:29 PM) :

old men can wear anything and it looks cool! :) wish more of them would take advantage of crazy color: mustard and moss (and a reflection of the photog in his glasses). *loves* it!

Blogger Dr ACP said ... (10:19 PM) :

I just love this man's look. You've photographed him before yes? Great tilt to the hat, this is what wearing a hat is all about. You've got to "own it" or why bother?
The yellow scarf and the way he's got it knotted and tucked in is great as well. Wish I could see is entire outfit.

Blogger hp said ... (10:24 PM) :

Love his smile and colour combinations! The sparkle of yellow between musky green (?) and deep turquoise (?)!

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:29 PM) :

First of all, I love this shot! One can only hope that he is as warm and as happy as his colors. Second to respond to the prior post-I love the use of the word curvy. I'm a small framed woman, 5'4" 125 pounds but with hips and calves that make finding stylish clothes or representative models difficult. I think this blog does a fabulous job of finding beauty everywhere in a wide range of body types, ages, and self-expression. Long live curvy!

Blogger cetusra said ... (11:20 PM) :

Blogger dee said ... (12:51 AM) :

The smile is the BEST part.

Blogger MariaTru said ... (12:51 AM) :

There are so many men with beards in Europe. I'm from Russia and I rarely see a man with a beard.

I like that the simple navy blazer and jaket are put together with less common colors.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:28 AM) :

This photo reminds me of someone I loved dearly years ago--neckerchief, hat, glasses, twinkly eyes, and all. It's a beautiful portrait of a lovely man, and it made me smile (and sniffle a little). Thanks for sharing it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:42 AM) :

A glass of wine perhaps? And a conversation?

Blogger Bronwyn said ... (2:57 AM) :

I like hats in general, and his is really really cool! I especially like how it looks with his scarf - it reminds me a little of a Van Gogh painting...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:34 PM) :

If you've got it, flaunt it - if it is true, there is no arrogancy -being true to form is ageless. He's absolutely a joy to behold in a world where so many men are clueless as to theie own creative beauty.
Thank YOU, Robert R.,
