This is a very elegant woman.....cheekbones like a queen! But while the outfit may be striking, I guess it must be a very urban interpretation of spring. The colors of the print look hard, cold and glaring. They go with concrete, not of nature, and distract from her innate beauty.
Picture her in all off-white or all black or just about anything else.....immediate improvement!

Once again she reminds me of a graceful Modigliani woman that's leapt off the canvas. I'd never think to layer a black turtleneck and tights under such a ladylike suit but it instantly makes the suit modern rather than frowzy.

I think she needs to lose the bag entirely.
I know she usually looks great, but I don't like this so much. I agree with someone else who said the proportions aren't quite right, and the fit - the skirt is bunching in the front, and I don't think the cut of the jacket is that flattering. But it's always interesting to see what Giovanna is wearing anyway.
Thumbs up ... I know the feeling, love the vivid colors, and like the look. Wearing this gives winter a hard bright push out the door. It's like a florist forcing bulbs to flower. At the same time the wearer doesn't look naked or cold.

Yes, yes whut.
Yikes! Giovanna is usually right on, but this outfit is a miss for me. Not crazy about the cut or drape of the suit, and its shortcomings are amplified by the overall black back-drop. Dark-brown or very deep burgundy tights and scrunched opera-length gloves (especially in a light-blue color) instead of the long black sleeves would have been a better choice. Love everything about the shoes but the color -- doesn't work with that outfit and the bag.
I suspect if another woman but Giovanna were wearing this outfit, there would have been more negative comments. :)
