Love streetstyle!
Un saludo,
ERTL and COHN
This is a great photograph. Takes me back to the Punk years. Have they ever really stopped? Answer?, no. At the age of 52 I am still drawn to the military boot and one of the days will buy myself a pair. Why not I say.
such a great shot!
<3
This angst-y look just brought me back to memories of my boyfriend. In the 90's! Love it, brought a smile to my face:)
Not a big fan of this look, nice haircut though
A big fan of regular guy regular gal photo.
Nice catch! And awesome title.
I've seen him on the beach wearing the same shoes & socks!!
I do like his haircut. And his jacket. Looks like Chinatown?
x Elizabeth / In Between Seams
definitely unexpected for me... cool haircut though!!
not my kind of man, but it works. great capture.

great look! would have loved to see his face though!!

The jacket is potentially interesting but rather difficult to see, sadly.
I like the contrast with the skin on his legs, too.

Hmmm... interesting
No(t just) style, but lifestyle..
looks like the dark knight!

Looks like Oliver Sim from The xx.
Really nice dark look.

loooooove that:
the push biker look!
the head looks like cole mohr?
but his hair is rainbow coloured now so...
Great hair--and I love the angsty punk nod to spring and sunshine!
...and I thought fashion was supposed to enhance your appearance...
a whole new meaning to cropped layers.
color contrast is amazing in this image,
Annina

Weird stuff. Nice jacket, lost in its own folds. The shorts jut out nicely.
Wooowwwww
l love the whole style, this is just awesome to me...
Totally love it....
CONGRATS ! ! !
he looks like he could be a Rick Owens muse. Love the stitching on the back. Glad you captured it this way.

is this fashion? this is rather about making a statement.
nice, he's not bothering about "what they think", I like that
Ahh, it is starting to get interesting here on The Sartorialist
However, the boots kick ass!
What we don't see here (a face) adds so much interest. Maybe it's a boy, maybe not... (those furry legs are kind of a giveaway though).
absolutely love your street style...
dear Scot great pic as always
i appreciate all styles... preppy, punk, grunge, high-end socialite, etc etc... but all of these styles can be done well and done poorly.
this guy does his style well, however, i'd lose the socks.
Teddy Boys, Mods, Punks, Waivers, Iggy, Patty Smith, Buzzcocks, The Dolls, McClaren - The music, art, fashion attitude, counterculture and then the wave of influences. Good to see at least the dynamic and brilliant visual audacity of it all is still alive and well!
seems to be owning his style and bracing to walk into the sun.
*tall girl
Nice legs!

I have seen this coat in a second hand shop for 4 euro's.
oh, I would like so much to see second side
real street style again! love the layers and the cut of the jacket and the haircut makes me want to see him from the front. so much better than photos of emaciated hangers and "fashion mag" editors.
I wonder if the jacket isn't Alberto Aspesi?

Skin is back. Awesome.
cool photo sart
but lawd have mercy somebody give that boy a sandwich...or FOUR ! :P
I understand the whole biker/ tough guy thing, but that's not my style.
Great picture, well done!
The thing that stands out on this photo is the paleness of the lad's legs. I, too, am pale and face the dilemma of whether to wear shorts during the summer. Fair play to his confidence.
I'm not getting punk from this look though. I remember tartan being the punk look-du-jour in the 70s, not black. Oh well, roll on the warmer weather.
I love the style and how much inspiration is in a simple black outfit. But the bare legs..not so much :)
Definitely not punk. Industrial Gothic perhaps if I was to label it. All of us kids who wore all black, doc boots, and listened to NIN in the 90's are now around 30 and designing clothes. He looks like my best friend in high school in 1995, yet completely current. Its the direct line from Helmut's biker pants to modern day Rick Owens. Goth glam has returned.
I wish i could see the front, but it looks awesome anyways.
i love the rolled up leggings thing hes got going on, really cool.
i like the lines/seams on the jacket
Palid and Mugler style... sooo great!

it would be nice to see his face.
He looks like Nick the V from Mad Decent.
what a lad.
hey Matthew! i know you even from behind.
very Comme des Garcons.
i wish to see the front view of this guy.. interesting shape! very cocoon-balenciaga like.
