Love this sand coat! Fab! Great pic!
Xoxo, K.
Where are her hands and feet? To me, everything is just too loose in that look.
beautiful pic... ;D

i just love the colour-combination! blue and camel are just perfectly matching!
i love the turned up sleeves on the coat, and the way the colour matches the sunglasses, great outfit
what a great looking couple! i love her long wide jeans.

They look absolutely amazing together!
Love both of the outfits! The guy really knows how to wear double breasted coats, and the girl looks stunning in camel! Love her sunglasses too, by the way

love that he can pull off that length of jeans!

Oo, he's like a visitor from a science fantasy novel.
A modern day version of John Lennon and Yoko Ono! Beautiful color and proportion combination!
love this blog
;)

i love how the wide flare of the denim pants complement the loose structure of the jacket; what great sunglasses!
truly beautiful pair.

her coat is lovely!! they both look great :)

Delisa, above, makes a good point. John And Yoko in an essence.
But overall I love the quality of both of what they are wearing. There is something about them that you cant stop looking at. Individuality.
lovely photo, adore flare jeans

stylish
Too cool for l'ecole :)
very beautiful, i think that they can do the campaign of the Kooples!

Like an earlier comment said, they look like a modern version of John Lennon and Yoko Ono. Is it me or the sunglasses she is wearing the same as the ones worn by the lady in the furry coat, in the Rue Auber photo posted on March 4? ...I love those sunglasses. If any one knows what they are, please post so I can track them down!

Great Pic!
It such a great photo! Love her coat
Xx
L'effet produit par la large manche vide et le large bas du jean est superbe !
L'homme semble toutefois un peu coincé dans sa veste...

Can I be this couple please? Perfect blend of casual yet stylish. I want to know where they're off to!

He looks great. She looks like she is wearing someone else's clothes. That overly long pant length that is all the trend right now has never looked good. It makes people look short and sloppy. Especially since many who wear them this way end up walking on them, and/or dragging the pants on the ground.
chic time warp!

love the guys outfit and her glasses.
Wow ... Love their coats :)

Funny Scott,
When I was a kid and someone said grad students these two are what they looked like and what I imagined. My father was a university professor in the late 60s, through the 70s and the early 80s. The students I used to see around him reflected this buoyancy and older student mode of cool, calm and relaxed. It was all I ever wanted to be and be about. There seemed to be so much expression and 'verge of creativity' about the whole deal. Jeans reigned supreme in a different way from today, they and hair still held a significance as a symbol of rebellion. Vietnam was a daily factor in many lives, and definitely for my family, as were the protests and politics of the day. The bell bottoms and the coats, the cut of the jeans, those shiny boots all bring so much of it back vividly. I am not sure if I have written a thousand words about this photograph but going with the adage, about the value of a picture, you have inspired a thousand and more, memories, reflections, style observations and politics of a day and time not all that long ago.
Thanks man.
his jacket is awesome!
Great boots sir!
Love her flared jeans!! And the combination with the camel coat is just perfect!

Just LOVE IT!
It's like a 1970's Studio 57!
Love the simplicity and chicness of this. The rugged mixed with the classic is great on him and her outfit looks like the epitome of comfortable and classic.
Great couple, but... I'd have prefered her with a little shorter trousers: where are the shoes?
http://www.isthisitmodelsreview.com/
These two look right out of the late 60's/70's. They could be golden age rock heroes, I love it.
Oh I`ve already seen this couple here before. They are lovely.
I saw them too !!!

sweet lord, when will this ridiculous hobbit fashion trend for men end already? i am so sick and tired of the too short sleeves and pants. it makes everyone look short and stout.
also, are we allowed to make negative comments here? it seems to be all "fabulous!" and "magnificent!" even at the most ridiculous outfits.
I love the time-machine quality of the photo... the looks are wonderfully retro, but there's also something about the light and focus of the photo itself that makes me think of old album covers. And there's something about him that makes me want to strike up a conversation with him.
Best of all, they look like "everyday people" (read: not millionaires or fashion industry folks) who just have great personal style. Thanks for honoring them! :)
(I still hate coats draped over shoulders, though. I know many people love that look, but to me it's just not functional and sort of silly.)
I'm loving her ensemble, especially her shades. I really like how her silhouette contrasts with his which is more formfitting. I think I may have to start back people watching when the weather allows!
i would seriously be the happiest person in the world if you stopped me on the street to take my photo! will you be in london next week? ill make sure to wear only my best :)

What a stylish duo. I love the shrunken blue coat, and flannel scarf on the guy. He clothing creates a nice thin silhouette. The woman's coat is beautiful, and I love the turtleneck.
My Heart Blogged
Most of all, I like his jacket. Richard James perhaps? Or Balmain?
http://davidikus.blogspot.com/ http://www.davidranc.com
so retro 70's! Everything has been said : "they look like a modern version of John Lennon and Yoko Ono". I just love this couple
All ill-fitting. What a turn-off. Sorry, negative again. - Jean
Great photo~
The dude's style is sooo on-point but his grooming situation is quite horrifying. The woman looks tres chic on the other hand.
I was going to say that they looked like a modern version of John [Lennon] and Yoko Ono, but I already noticed someone else thought of the same thing.
I love her whole look - the shades, the turtleneck, and coat and the flared jeans to the ground. I don't think I like the shrunken look for men, but I do love to see people with unique style. And he looks like he would be fun to hang out with.

The pop of gold jewelry and her camel coat and sweater step up the appearance of the couple as a whole. Notice the sleeve length on his coat. Are those short enough for you?
~Sara
That's Parisian hippies for you...
It's funny that the past three pictures all include smokers! If only it weren't bad for you; it looks so cool!
http://couturecultureblog.blogspot.com
Both great!
Cool couple! I'm a girl, but I'm totally gonna copy the guy's look!
awesome couple
I love the girl's coat!
http://slackandlack.blogspot.com/
Awesome photo. If this was in black and white, it could have been a photo of someone's parents taken in the 1970s.
... lovely couple, they really match. Nice pic *.*
i like this post i love to visit this blog again
"NONE SHALL PASS"
her hands and feet seem to have been lopped off. i do not understand what is aesthetically pleasing about hemming the pants in such a way (i'm questioning you phoebe, darling).
dash snow look-alike next to her however has quite the desirable hem length. a little short, but perfect with the boots and jacket.
i expect to see this hideous floor hem trend go the way of the low-crotched and ill-named "harem" pants.
worldrunway.blogspot.com
Does anyone know what make the sunglasses are on her?
Those bellbottoms are fantastic.
i love this couple.

Ils se complètent très bien!
Also love the fit of his jacket!

I love her caot. And I love their mood..
begentlewithiv.blogspot.com
Like the jeans of both..
So Yoko and Lennon!
Trés chic without too much an effort...

the boy looks like one my dear friend....!!!!!!!!!!...but he is just "metal" stile
http://michelmercury.blogspot.com/
I expect her hands are right below her wrists, and her feet are right below her ankles. Mystery solved. As for harem pants; Just wait until spring. Those suckers aren't going anywhere. Or at least they are not going away.
john and yoko esque.
