Molto spesso ha faccia tosta, quello si. E nessuno discute più quello che indossa.

ah, e a me piace e sta simpatico. Vorrei precisarlo. Ma questo non inficia i miei limiti visivi

Blogger CINCHED AT THE WAIST said ... (5:55 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:47 PM) :

I'm impressed. Here in Italy, Lapo is not such an idol as he seems by these comments!
He's quite an eccentric, controversial and strange guy; and he's funny with his elegance, more than "the epitome of Italian" something! Anyway, nice colors, and great shot :-)

Dd

Blogger WILDFLOWER said ... (6:50 PM) :

Now I dont so much like this colour but I like the two toned jacket with its lapels and how he roughs it all up with adidas.

Anonymous Matata said ... (6:51 PM) :

Love the look. But a Jeep in Italy... Isn't that like a sin?!

Blogger Sabina said ... (6:56 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:40 PM) :

The shoes are either Adidas Samba or Gazelle, anybody know?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:42 PM) :

By the way I love the look, and there is nothing very expensive about it. The dude is wearing his grandfathers suit (Caraceni?), a turtleneck, adidas sneakers. The guy look fantastic, but money didn't buty that look!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:17 PM) :

chic and fun. really endearing.

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:22 PM) :

Adidas Sambas--the only tennis shoe you can wear with a suit.

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:44 PM) :

Cool! I love him :)

Anonymous Jess87 said ... (8:47 PM) :

@ Danielle R.

It is part of the Fiat Group. Fiat owns the largest shares in Chrysler, which owns Jeep. He owns the entire car company for god's sake. He's trying to make a statement imo. Plus, he already has a Ferrari with a denim interior and a matte black Maserati. I see he also painted his jeep matte.

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:47 PM) :

BEYOND COOL!! He is looking great. Love the sneaks. This is like a male version of Phoebe Philo; elegant, cool, and modern.

Blogger Rachel said ... (8:47 PM) :

Beautiful Lapo-one of my favorite men. :)

Anonymous LolóRey said ... (8:50 PM) :

What a great pciture.

Blogger Lee Oliveira said ... (8:54 PM) :

Oh those giant lapels are something special.

Anonymous JK said ... (9:06 PM) :

He looks good, but not his aesthetically-challenged vehicle.

Instead of sitting on it, he should have stood as far from it as possible. His father had far better taste in motorcars.

Blogger L said ... (9:14 PM) :

My old boss (straight male) was obsessed with this guy...must say he's got great style!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:33 PM) :

Anonymous lucia said ... (2:49 AM) :

Lapo is so COOL! My favorite Italian dude ever. He is so elegant, so cool, so handsome, so sexy. I would marry him tomorrow.
Great outfit too, and great picture, nice colors.

Blogger CAYA said ... (2:56 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:59 AM) :

Fiat bought chrisler... that's the reason why he is sitting on a jeep. Otherwis he was sitting on a fiat group car, i'm quite sure of it... anyway, he's very cool!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:59 AM) :

Natural style here!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:20 AM) :

Awful. Srue, you can pull of sneakers to a suit like that, but these look like he just came from futsal-practice. Not a fan of the lapels or the thick socks. Finally, I don't think what he's wearing work well together. Come on, turtleneck sweater underneath a 70's suit of almost the same color (?), big thick socks and sport shoes (?) and to top it off a shirt peaking out from underneath the turtleneck. The glasses are pretty nice though. He should however contemplate washing his hair every now and then.

Anonymous Tine said ... (5:26 AM) :

He's so cool

Anonymous Prudence. said ... (5:44 AM) :

Oh, no, please, he's such an idiot! You shouldn't give him this much visibility.

He is a kind of guy make me go:
Hmmm!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:36 AM) :

This outfit is a bit clownesque. But the smile, the attitude, the confidence makes it cool. So yes I agree money can't buy these things.

Blogger UESman said ... (7:02 AM) :

"On The Car" ... Do I sense a new, running piece for The Sartorialist?

Interesting to see people artfully photographed on cars who arent girls wearing bikinis having a water fight!

Blogger mrpinkcat said ... (12:43 PM) :

Love the look of the jacket and jumper, and always like to see someone dressing down a suit with a pair of trainers. But i just feel the need to poke my eyes out looking at the socks. aaaargh!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:59 PM) :

What a great smile! Love the lapels too....but the smile is cuter.

Anonymous Elise said ... (1:11 PM) :

Is anyone else not a fan of the turtleneck resurgence?

Blogger davidikus said ... (1:21 PM) :

I like brown suits. I have had an obsession with them ever since reading Agatha Christie's The Man in the Brown Suit but I never managed to find one that I could wear (well I have a brown Lanvin suit but it has very thin blue stripes & even the brown is a mix of two browns really).

This one is nice - what are the lapels made of? Leather? Satin?

Very odd - too odd for the office but nice.

"I own Fiat...I use cars as chairs. Ciao."

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:37 AM) :

This car must be a Chrisler, same of Fiat's Group...about the clotes...I don't think this is his best outfit: the shirt's neck inside the sweater neck is not quite nice ti see (to me).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:48 PM) :

Only he can pull this look, he has been wearing adidas trainers for as long as I have known him. However the suit is not Caraceni, it's from his own collection Italia Independant and so are the glasses.

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:48 AM) :

The socks and sneakers are killing me. I am for a nice pair of kicks instead of dress shoes with this clothing but this seem so off.
Cool lapel.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:41 AM) :

oh my god....please, Lapo no :(

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:46 AM) :

Come nella pubblicità della skoda "il bauscia ga el suv". Così vicino ai binari da far smadonnare i poveri autisti ATM, giusto per sbattere in faccia a tutti dove sono andati a finire gran parte degli incentivi statali datialla Fiat.
Gran classe, avoja!!!

Blogger Edmont Dantes said ... (2:24 AM) :

What's with the tennis shoes? Don't know, this photo just doesn't do it for me.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:34 AM) :

I have the feeling that i'm the only one to do not like this look.

Ok, Lapo is dope, but... theses socks don't work with the pants (color + texture = bad combination)!

And please, make a bigger effort when you chose your sneakers...

Blogger Unknown said ... (2:38 PM) :

That's not only a Jeep Grand Cherokee, its an SRT8. Its basically a muscle car/jeep. 420 Horsepower, 0-60 in 4.6 seconds, etc, etc. Fresh!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:40 PM) :

great matte paint on the jeep, great look... lose the sneakers... miss some quality italian shoes !
