I love your work Scott! And these men look fabulous
Il foulard è troppo chic sugli uomini dalla forte personalità.
Interesting!!!

wow i like the second one. amazing pic!
That second scarf is amazing, such bold, beautiful colours.
www.styleisalwaysfashionable.blogspot.com
U really sure the second one is an Hermes??
Yes.In a small pieces...Love your comment, your both eye...
a bright silk scarf can make almost any outfit, but i especially love the look when paired with more neutral and rugged men's wear.
me too.....k
A scarf can definitely add colour to an outfit, particularly for guys where clothes tend to be unconspicous. So opting for an Hermes scarf seems like a great way to jazz up what you're wearing even more so if you're a guy!
Is that scarf from the palio di siena? Go pantera go.
This looks fantastic! How doesn't love stylish men?!
Although I like the scarves in both photos, it's in the second shot that the scarf really pops out thanks to your skills with the camera
That *pop* of color with the contrasting hem (second picture) is marvelous. Yes, more men should wear Hermès scarves. The unstructured knots and unfussy wrapping go a long way to making them casual and sportif.

No, I'm not sure it is hermes but i'm pretty sure that's what Hugh told me. I idea is not hermes but the ability of bold color to lift a look.
Seems to work best with two contrasting colours...
Those men are definitely wearing the Hermés scarf right. I love when something so small can add so much character to a look!
The blog-title says it all!
An Hermes scarf is the ultimate chic accessory next to the Kelly... and now now just the envy of women around the world. It's fantastic to see that these men are not afraid to accessorize, the chain in image 1 and rings in image 2 are also amazing.

those scarves are legit wish i had the cash
I totally agree - love a good scarf on a man. Does wonders.
Much love,
B

He is working that scarf. www.copperetiquette.wordpress.com
Any male who knows how to accessorize and pull off the look at the same time, is a winner in my book. I just wish more of them could do both!

Love the contrast between the masculine closed fist and the delicate feminine scarf in the second pic. Well done!
I concur! XOXO, www.natalyascloset.com
unexpected..therefore really striking...xx meenal
I recently commented that Hermès scarves were a rare sight nowadays! I was wrong. Men are wearing them now.

Love the second shot especially, speaking of which, would you happen to know what that gorgeous ring (with the stone) that he is wearing is??
Thanks!
I don´t know how you do it, but your vision from these people at the street, make them so special, the objects come after! you are such an artist!!!! congratulations!

Also love the chain. And the rings. And the fist.
Great pictures. These are some beautiful shots.

I ♥ it ! hermes forever....
Yes yes yes! I am obsessed with Hermes scarfs. The perfect pop of color. I especially love them on men. I feel like not enough men utilize small colorful elements like a silk scarf. It has the added effect of making men look more masculine.

Indeed those are great photos. Like one said the devil is in the details.

very cool
Fall 2008 nails it!
It shows off something I find really beautiful in a man, confidence.
i love the contrast of their tough, manly looks with the sensitive and soft yet bold scarves...
i <3 you scott- you make my days!
Wow Sart, you're digging deep... I love that the scarves and the whole look are still very relevant. That's the beauty of style isn't it? Eternal :)
Hermes is Hermes. Always stunning. Always appropriate. Always tres chic.
Love the top pic! Any idea who did the wallet chain?
I love what the texture and color of the scarves do for the muted tones in the outfits themselves. It's a welcome contrast. Great photos, as always.
wow, the second photo is a true work of art. I absolutely love it.
A scarf and hoodie with jacket? awesome for portrait, really weird for real life.
the guy in top photo is perfectly dressed
The second one is a truly amazing shot... it belongs in a museum!!!
Ohhhh - really love the bright red/orange trim to the electric blue. And the details on his rings. Bravo.
absolutely stunning.
beautiful shots! i recently praised my hermes scarf on my blog - they really are pieces of art and add such beautiful color to any look. clearly your pictures capture this perfectly.

i want one.
The second photo is great! I love the color of the scarf and how it jives with what the man wears. Terrific!
I think the Hermes scarf on that gentleman from the first photograph looks too caculated. The contrast of texture, the feminin / masucline aspect does not work well here.
Now the second photograph tells a different story. The casualness of how the scarf is worn within the overall colour sheme pares down the feminin aspect such a scarf has. Leaving enough room for a twist to bring the look of this gentleman to a more interresting level.
CLASSY!
Better on men than women!!!
I just wanted to thank you for exposing me to the Bill Cunningham film. I remember seeing a photo of him on your blog. I just caught the movie tonight in Los Angeles. What an inspiration, beyond fashion, but as a human being.
Thank you.
Charmingly Stunning!

using scarf is great idea!
Is the second chap is Avery Brooks?
LOVE IT!!!
Plus your photo of that platinum blonde guy wearing a pink/white/silver/gold scarf. I only remember as'9228BurScarfWeb.jpg'. Not sure if it was Hermes but that's my favourite of the 'man wearing silk scarf' genre!
Haha, I met the last guy in a bar in milano - I didn't figure out what he was doing or who he is even tho we talked for 1 hour. But I also took a picture=)
Love the second one!
Un saludo,
ERTL and COHN
I've been wanting to wear a scarf like that, ever since my favorite show, Mad Men
Whatta man. Well, men. Great archive shots. An inspiration of old school meets new world.

They are both so great, but the second picture, that amazing blue and red trimmed scarf with the double rings; so bohemian and all so perfect!

Love the use of color!
xo thefashionguitar
I discovered THE SCARF a few years ago and I think it's not just beautiful but also practical. It can gives a touch of bohemian elegance different then a tie.(See the spring/summer collection 2011 of Ermenegildo Zegna)
love the scarf
i love a hermes scarve, but they tend to make women look matronly, to my opinion. glad to see how good they look when worn by men.
now that's what i call contemporary! (not the pseudo-conservative (berlusconi) style you see on so many men from Italy on this blog.) a splash of color in the cute way.
I instantly like a man with the confidence to wear a scarf that way.
Dashing men. I wish more men in NYC would tuck in their shirts and take off their baseball caps and dress with some thought to elegance. Perhaps they think it's effeminate.:( A pop of color against neutrals is the best.
Seriously great portrait (2nd).
great looks!
powerful with a touch of silk
ooohhhh! these are lovely! I'm specially in love with man #2.... ay ay ay !!!
love love love!
scarves are so whimsical... you can do so much with them. a great scarf collection will last a lifetime
http://heelsandinspiration.blogspot.com
This is one of your (new?) categories that I just want to say, "More, please." I love how the scarfs flatter these men, closest thing I've seen to how flattering menswear is on women, reversed.
What a great way to mix things up.
Once again, fashion is about having fun and joy...
Awesome pictures Scoot.
Hugs
where can i get a jacket like in the first pic?
Silk scarves can be gorgeous and these two are some beautiful scarves... problem is when someone wears a scarf like this, it makes me think of (female) flight attendants.
I love the first picture. He just looks so cool and sophisticated.

Silk scarves worn like cowboys or flight attendants is where it's at right now (in my world)...LOVE it.
Stunning images! The colors are masterful, and I love the way each gentleman has that certain look of rugged sophistication.

"I Love What An Hermés Scarf Can Do For A Man" as well, both pics are great.
http://www.isthisitmodelsreview.com/
The 2nd picture is great: great colors, great contrast, great expression! Totally love it.
the second photo is incredible! It's just amazing.
Well, y'all have inspired me to start wearing them again. I wore Hermes and other scarves for quite some years, and even fashioned myself to be a bit of a rogue. However, I let life get me down to where dressing has become a chore and not a celebration.
My muse in mind, I remember that it is spring. Time to renew.
You can see the last letters of "Hermes" upside down on the bottom edge of the second picture..
Second photo: That's my dear friend of 20 years, Hugh, and yes - it is a fantastic photo of a fantastic photographer. Suggestion: please please expand the content of the post to include a series of photos of Hugh wearing gems from his collection of Hermes scarves - he has dozens and each one looks wonderful on him! Hermes is one of his clients.
I absolutely love these two looks. Great shots.
I like also this kind of use of silk scarves for men.. soft and chic. Colors are important for the look.
THIS I call fashion photography! Thanks a lot!!!
beautiful... especially the first one.

Hugh is a friend, and yes he just wears Hermes scarf better than anyone!
He really has a unique style, his hat I know is from Lock and Co hatters and he design his own jewellery.
Elegance is all in the details.
¡¡loveling, loveling!!

GRreat foulard, amazing!
http://fashiondoesntexist.blogspot.com/
wonderful when men know to wear the scarfs
I'd never thought about Hermes on a guy, so thanks - they are amazing!
The Hermès carré is always a splendid choice... I love it!
http://www.elcoolhunteraccidental.com/
GWAH!! <3 They're both so beautiful and adorable!
Very Very nice!
I would love to see what shoes they both have on though!
Wow, the second one is such an interesting look. I have to know who this guy is!!
his coloring and dark clothes make this stand out brilliantly. just wonderfully sexy!
with his coloring and dark clothes this scarf stands at attention! lovely and rather sexy
The blue scarf is dope. It doesn't even look like it was taken on the streets.

Go Hugh! the most stylish dude in milan :)
By your boy Ahmunrap
The guy in the second photo pulled off the mismatch of color with perfection. Nice!
ooooweee Nippon-jin (sorry that means Japanese). Nice to see a fellow asian, nicely dressed in good proportions. Well thought out outfit though it comes across rather effortless. Love the touch of green, Hermes desu-ka? :)
Ooops, just saw the 2nd man. Not sure if he intended the colour of his neckerchief to pop the way it does, but it POPS! And the rings is nice touch. Class. Good eye, sir.
hot DAMN!
Perfect Style!!!
wow.. he looks like Tony Tornado a famous actor and musician from Brazil
