WOW! The hair, the layering and the length of the knit over the fine pleated skirt. WOW! Natural and classic
She looks awesome... I like the way the long skirt gives her a more elegant look wereas the jumper makes the outfit more casual. Love her brazelet.

I got the same skirt and what a great combination. Luv it.

Strength and femininity personified. Those bracelets and watch are fantastic. I also love the way the photo captures the curve of her neck muscle.

She looks incredible. And I am so happy there is finally some sunlight in NYC! Now if only the wind will stop and let us enjoy the warmth, too. It's insane.
I love a long skirt in winter. It's like taking the warm quilt from your bed and wearing it against the cold. 'was definitely my look in the 1960's.
Gorgeous photograph.

Long skirts seem to be the 'in' look for the year. Saves on shaving the legs or even wearing socks or stockings!
The skirt is lovely, especially in motion!

Starbucks Goddess.
This is a beautiful picture - all the textures at play! A lovely photograph.
Love the combination of dark tones and the long (shirt) on long (skirt)... way to play skillfully with clothing. Also love how she didn't loose herself or her shape in the clothing.. that is a real challenge for me!
The little details of her 'mannières' make this shot so romantic.
Thanks Sart for this dreamy shot
Oh, great photo and very nice look. I love her skirt and overall chick style.
Thanks for sharing
She's lovely. Her layering is so chic :)

Classic monochrome, beautiful! The pleating on the skirt is lovely as well.
simply wonderful and wonderfully simple.
This is STYLE!! And of course, very beautiful picture.
Muito elegante, beautiful!
love that flowy skirt .. so feminine. its wonderful!
so funny, on the weekend when i was in NYC i went to the presentation for the Bespoken label (menswear) ... As the taxi pulled up outside the Chelsea Piers and I went to open the door, I started squealing with delight. Outside, having a cigarette, was a man. The funniest thing is I dont know who that man was! But i instantly recognised him from your blog. He was wearing these amazing red trousers and a navy jacket. I have seen him so many times in your book and it was surreal to bump into him in real life. Mind you, I still dont know who he is but it absolutely made my day! :)

Nothing is more American than walking the street with half a liter of coffee in a styrofoam cup with your name on it.
I've never seen anyone do it so gracefully! Her gaze to the right, the skirt blown to the left, the blanket on her bag are in perfect balance.
One of the best shots I've seen here.
um, wow. gorgeous on so many levels.
...as a greek goddess! Guaaaaauuu!
you can almost feel the wind in this photo! love her maxi skirt & bracelets.
http://adorablydeliciouslp.blogspot.com/

The Skirt is just like Vera Wangs new collection, the lighting is beautiful.

love her outfit!
http://kimchicsisters.blogspot.com/2011/02/amazing-milk-chocolate-lollipops-with.html
Wow. What a phenomenal shot!
I don't think that you have to be tall to wear a long skirt! You have to be slim and the skirt has to be narrow. The flouncy peasanty skirts of yore, make everyone, no matter how svelt, look a little wide and gypsy-mama-ish. Long, narrow skirts look so fab and Edwardian, like Downton Abbey. A much better look than Little House on The Prarie or Little Yurt in Vermont.
Gorgeous picture. I want to be in NY, in that skirt and with that hair. I pretty much want to be her.

I am in awe of her radiant stature, the beautiful clothes are almost secondary.
http://purityperfection.blogspot.com/
What I really love about this photo is the balance in it - her skirt is blowing in one direction, while her face is looking the other way. Such perfect timing!

I spy a new nail color trend
maxi skirts like that now are really cozy and fun to play around with. Especially here in NYC, its a good cold weather choice. :)
Beautiful pic. But I know homegirl was cold.
This picture is something out of a 1960s Italian movie:: glamorous, sexy and simply elegant.
STUNNING STUNNING STUNNING. I adore this look.
cinematic
This is great! i LOVE the tones and everything about it. Man... i look up to the way you go about getting your shots. KEEP THEM COMING!

She knows how to present herself, and you know how to capture the perfect moment. I can feel the intimacy between the subject and the camera. Just beautiful.
that is such a gorgeous shot. well done scott. well done.
I love how her skirt is being blown in the wind as she walks down the street! You are such an amazing photographer, and many of your shots are very dynamic, but I think this may be my favourite ever. Even her expression- she has so much story in her eyes.

This photo is perfection:
1. Interesting pose with the turn of her body, you wonder what she heard or is looking for
2. Beautiful drape and movement of skirt, flowing in the air
3. Enigmatic expresson on her face with beautiful morning side lighting
4. Background going to vanishing point on horizon to lower left of image, giving this picture a wonderful movement and visual interest
5. Background characters which also seem to be captured at just the perfect moment
6. The whole movement sweeping down and to left, with the exception of that fantastically placed plaid blanket or scarf
7. The jewelry, the fur, the clutch held close... it is breathtaking
8. The pleats in the skirt, the complete outfit is amazing
9. The overall composition of heavy and light, dark and bright, angular and soft... all so beautiful
This is the kind of photo I wish I could see as a painting, it is not only a visual feast but esquisitely beautiful.
Congratulations on capturing lightning in a bottle on this photo.
this looks like an ad for the coffee. how do you cope up with all the travel that you do?

i'm totally in love with these long pleated skirts in flowy material. this reminds me a little of the ASOS pleated maxi dress that i'm totally obsessed with right now.
Allow me to be #2346 to say "Wow." The outfit is amazing, and you've made a simple step taken while walking down the street look like a moment of dance.
Your use of focus & depth of field here is amazing as well--there's an almost surreal quality to the photo.
She looks gorgeous! Maxi skirts are back!
Oooh, I love her skirt and long sweater! Somehow it doesn't look ridiculously bulky to be wearing all that loose clothing...

i fell in love with this outfit! especially the combination of the dark coloured sweater and skirt with the sparkling jewelry - perfection!
Cool! I have the same scarf ;-)
Beyond words, this is stunning!
This blog was mentioned on last night episode of Glee! I had to tell my husband what the blog was about...
I had a grey pleated skirt like this but finally had a dressmaker hem it to about mid calf.
I found it extremely difficult to walk in; kept tripping over myself as yards of fabric got trapped in between my legs.
I have a couple of pleated skirts. Have always loved them and am glad to see they are making a comeback. Will delve into the back of my closet.
super lighting. what a great shot
* Amazing photo!!
Stunning picture. Isn't this Zanna Roberts of Marie Claire? Looks a lot like her...
