This gives me a great idea of how to wear my skinny white jeans-- with brown boots and a camo jacket. Wonderful when this happens on your site.
Lately at school, my friends and I have been talking about how we don't like white pants on guys. But this COMPLETELY changes my mind!
Am I starved for Sartorialist blogging or are you so much more than you were a few months ago? I cannot make up my mind. Are my eyes and mind more awake? S - - T! Cannot make up my mind. Am I starved for beauty in this World of white and snow? Yes!
Love the photograph, love the hint of sunlight. Oh, how I want the warmth of spring. Loving the white pants, the boots, and the jacket. At 52, the crossroads of "What should I wear and what is the cut off age?" scream at me daily. Scott you send me.
If you want to wear camo, this is the way to do it! The Red Wings make all the difference.

That's a gorgeous jacket.
The jacket is Stone Island, from 2008 I think. Hand-painted camo, made in one green and one brown shade.

for some reason not a fan of the jacket..(not sure if its the length or the bulkiness of it or both)..but i do love the cuffed chinos with the rugged boots, even though it appears more americanized.
I thought the boots were C.P. Company? In any case, nice Italian take on the classic American workboot. I have a 35-year-old pair of the originals in perfect condition after all these years and, boy, have they been useful this NYC winter!

I love that Red Wings are in style--very classic. My Grandpa worked at the Red Wing Shoe Co. for many years, so they always remind me of him!

I just love the jacket, but the pants are a bit to short for my taste (even if that might be very in at the moment). Alltogether the look is great.

Yes, to what someone said above...white pants with camo is very refreshing. People get afraid to wear white in the winter because it shows dirt. Just wear white, people! I do.

I cant say i love any of those items separately but like put together it looks amazin. I love that outfit.
He looks like his is skateboarding on his Red Wings. The cuffed white pants give the look a nice contrast. Only an Italian could make camo, Red Wings and white skinny jeans look polished together. The glint of his upswept gray hair, completes the image.
Like the pants and boots all right but really not liking the jacket at all. Horrible pattern and fit to my eye, surprised it has gotten so much love here.

I don't like it-he looks like a poser. It's too "pristine" and costume-y. Kind of like wearing a biker jacket and not riding motorcycles or wearing a flight jacket and not flying planes.
