wow! love the shape the coat, usually i wouldn't but he styled it so simply that it works!

He makes me think of Vincent van Gogh.
Nice pic with the blue in the background and the tattoo on his hand :)
love the navy and black combo

Love the navy against black and his slicked back hair
fabulous pea coat on a very handsome gent. I like these very strong masculine images. lovely photograph thanks.
love his style! :)
Love his contrast with the rough beard yet manicured/coiffed hair.
I like the play of proportions. Not really a flattering result, but cool in an over-exaggerated kind of way.
nice!
:)
This is sooo good. I love his look.
The coat is huge- but I wish I had his legs. Anyway the hand art is interesting. The boots are cool, love it when the worn in a little. Great post

silhouette's off but for whatever reason it totally works
one word: fierce. and i agree with the above that it looks very vincent van gogh.

notice that his hand tat, v-neck on the pea coat (and lapels), as well as the shape of his beard all evoke the image of the tip of the spear. Fibonacci has nothing on the geometric impression found in this shot!
wonderful! this photo is amazing!

Nice beard, fantastic style!

This must be the most handsome man I have ever seen. More photos of him please :)
This photo is stunning and the man is amazing with his style. Love it.
www.soxie-gal.blogspot.com
handsome guy.
definetely loving the peacoat. What a surprise to see such slim jeans when I scrolled down. He makes it work though.
He looks like he is from another time. His beard, his expression, and manner.
Love it, it makes me think of the Scandinavian style
Those jackets are v warm, I have a v similar one longer and bit more tapered. Best to buy vintage/2nd hand they don't make them like they use to. The quality of wool i've seen in the most shops are definitely found wanting.
damn coat, i would like to have that! wow :O
check out Florence Street Fashion on my blog: www.themadtoter.blogspot.com
Nice!
Did you ever go to Brussels? I just went, and there were so many well-dressed people there!
show the tattoo!

Love the coat, hate the jeans.
So darn cool! Love the boxy upper part with the coat against/with the skinny jeans and boots bottom.
Very cool gent. And so cool tattoo!
You need guts to pull this combination off and he does it easily. Could've played a minder in Eastern Promises - all attitude, no effort.
LOVE this.
hi ho sailor.
¡a very good elegantaste!
nice, very british
He looks so serious and at the same time so chic and full of glam.

The silhouette does not work at all (my personal taste), and the blue/black combo is never bothersome, but he has a handsome features and I agree with 2 someone else's who commented on his beard and carefully managed hairstyle and his likeness of that of Van Gogh - yet, I am thinking more than Van Gogh - more like the men of that same period - that of the Impressionists, pre, post, etc. There could be no doubt about anything this man could say!
he does have some resemblance to van gogh or just the same aura but he reminds me of him. very interesting...

Oh boy...he's hot! Love the whole package, I mean the whole ensemble ;)!
The head is Van Gogh, but the exaggerated silhouette is a little Saul Steinberg for me...
This photo gives me a very interesting feeling. The coat is fab! Love the color. The gentleman looks old and young at the same time, making the image seem vintage yet modern. Very warlike.
Really interesting silhouette!!

Beautiful man... He makes me want to grow a beard
So much beardy goodness going on in this photo. Adore!
Men - please say NO to skinny jeans. But yes, to that gorgeous coat and beard. :)

I find it fascinating that people feel it necessary to make comments on this blog. Really? The wonderful images and self expression isn't enough? It's not really abut you...just enjoy
la barba es el complemento perfecto
the beard and tattoo's, so hot! he looks great.
Rugged and refined at the same time. I definitely want to know more about this man.
He looks very proper and then you see the tats! Nice!

Love his coat and shoes!!
basicmob.blogspot.com
oh, doesn't this remind you of the recent burberry prorsum collection. boxy coat partnered with skinny pants. he looks good.
nouveauskin.blogspot.com
The beard, the coat, the tattoo, the shoes, the legend of this man will live on
love the structured coat with the skinny jeans
fabulous look!! grungy yet put together at the same time
http://lacingup.blogspot.com/
i like his face and beard, but i want to give him a sausage roll. The legs are really a bit skinny...
What an interesting picture! I'd never have imagined such THIN legs while scrolling down the broad-shouldered coat! And, looking at his face, with slick back-combed hair, I was thinking, after having viewed the entire picture, 'How old is he??'
Well, just my thoughts.
http://le-chic-boutique.blogspot.com
So masculine.
Made my knees quake.
for some reason - no offence - the name Jack the Ripper sprang to my mind... and a bit of a young Tolstoy as well.
interesting...
I love this dude! He is really handsome. Reminds me a bit of Jocke Berg, but with a beard. So Cool. And I love pea coats above everything alse in the world :)
The picture is really great too. Nice composing, and great light and shades of grey and blue.
Tankkx!
Someone said very British, I think this is all scandinavian! Who is he btw?
Awesome. I love it when someone has such a presence
Go the beard and rockin the slick back do, gotta dig it!
www.therealpartyoverhair.blogspot.com
very nice picture!!
i think that his beard adds some more charisma!! ^^
Very interesting man!
sofiabalestra.tumblr.com
That gentleman definitely makes a statement.
wow! stunning!
BTW isn't he mytheresa.com's Buying Director? He was recently interviewed on style.com i think...
looking very solemn, cool though
Awesome, so masculine! Love his shoes!
Un saludo,
ERTL and COHN
I like his style but the coat length is large, i think.
I wouldn't talk about Van Gogh but about some Dostoyevsky's characters. He is very dramatic and charismatic at the same way.
love the coat and shoes
http://pinklemonincrystal.blogspot.com
Ooh, who designed his beard?
It's great!
Very sombre colors and mood.
Is he involved in the fashion industry?
http://www.sartorialistanbul34.blogspot.com/
I think this is the most handsome well dressed, man I've seen in the Sartorialist...
now THATS how you wear a beard

I have a shoter and green one from Burbery so similar.
I love this coat, and mine too. hahaha

Perfect real man
He needs a more tailorde coat, or less skinny trousers.
wow...love his coat and attitude.

nice coat
nice tattoo
Great !
I've got the same look today (without the bear) ;-)

WHAT a MAN ....
i really like his jacket :)
Dear Sartorialist, :)
I've been really glad to have the chance to see you in Milan (by accident)
(I was the guy wearing trench coat who stopped you on the pavement before D&G show) :)
http://monsieurmauro.blogspot.com/
Great pic! Everything looks awesome exept for those skinny legs. Bulk up!
OMG!He's amazing!
hm...in my opinion the dark colours let the man looks more older than he maybe really is. Think he has to add an nice fashion scarf :)
OMG!! the shapes, the coat, the boots, the tattoos, the hair...
IM IN LOVE!
come on it is time to be serious! I love the shape of the coat
Perfect! Beard and Navy coat forever!...
I think his legs look so good here...
I'm so glad you are out there taking photos like these.
Balenciaga coat! Magnificent cut.
I only recognize it because my friend bought the same one in Birmingham over the weekend.
WOW
I could look at this shot forever ~ such depth of feeling ~ so intense ~ perfect as always!
www.LEFTONBOISE.com
great look but would prefer a more tailored coat
love LOVE the shape!
amazing coat
Handsome man, fabulous boots..........but very unflattering proportions. Skinny jeans the culprit.
I love the juxtaposition between the roughness of his hand and knuckle tattoos with the polished gentleman attire and beard. Life is about contradictions, right?
http://www.chicagostreetstyle.com/
Very cool but the jacket seems to be doing something strange. It appears to be too big :)
Love the skinny jeans with the wide block effect of the coat and his facial structure. The coat collar, beard and tattoo also echo each other with triangular shapes. He is fantastic.
I would die for his coat. Where can you buy a coat like this these days! Simply fantastic.
What a great outfit. Love the finger tats.
Design Blog: theBohmerian.com
I love how you got the blue doors in the background, it really pops the blue with the black on the subject. As far as the look goes, I'm not keen on the boxy, wide outerwear with the skinny jeans - very bird-like, not a sexy look.
I totally dig dudes in skinny jeans.
http://jimpricute.blogspot.com/
Nice coat. Pants make him look silly. Reminds me of Monty Python's lumberjack sketch.
The rolled cuff. Mmmmm.
love his style!
Gorgeous man!
Love the proportion of the jacket!
Speaking as an english woman with working class roots and a posh accent - this man gives me butterflies in my stomach. Thank you for that
Very "sea captain" chic.
interesting proportions
I believe the name of the color is Cerulean.
He's an Australian and he is buying womenswear for german online store
It's Justin O'Shea, the buying director for Mytheresa.com-- A very cool and down-to-earth guy.
indeed, a fascinating mix of a punk, van gogh and christ.
I think this is such a great look!!! all in its proportions!
and there's nothing wrong with that Balenciaga coat! I've got the same and it is a re-edition from the 50s! that's why it looks big, because it meant to be...
and no need to mention about the beard, hair and tattoed hands! simply: gorgeous!
Love his look - big coat, skinny jeans combo is perfect!
Remarkable face....
Hmmm would you call that a peacoat? Why doesn't it fall the same way on my husband...humpffff Skinny pants, and such thin pins...wish I got legs his size, even if it meant I become top heavy I don't care.
This outfit, with that beard, the slick back hair and those tattoos...got to have the package to make a dark outfit stand out the way it does on this lad. ATTITUDE. Great eye.
A very interesting photo...
