She has certainly nailed the Victorian look, right down to the case & shoes! I always find it incredibly impressive when people pay so much attention to detail - it gives the outfit so much integrity.
www.gingerfashionmonsters.blogspot.com
Wow...on her way to the theatre...as a perfomer and not audience...perhaps. Great style. Unique look.
FIRST!
This picture is amazing, capturing London in so many ways.
A frail beauty.
Little Red Riding hood?

The Photograph, the dress, the boots, the cape, the ribbons, the case, the backdrop, are exquisite.
I love how how Little Red Riding Hood looks a little disheveled, like she just met with her Big Bad Wolf.
This photo is pure sex! Please link to a larger version!
Les Mis chic.
Stunning ! I love the littel vintae suitcase as a purse.
I love the colour clash! Also, the vintage briefcase makes an exellent rustic addition. love it.

Loving the matchiing colors of her ribbon, that coat and the tiny lace of her briefcase.
So beautiful. Thank you for this.
amazing photo. I like this colour combination and the bows:)
i love this so much! she definitely pulls it off.
It's like "Pride and Prejudice" but in bright magenta and blue instead of muted brown and beige. Makes me wonder, "Where's she going?"
Oooo, reminds me of old times like Sleepy Hollow. Gorgeous.
The hair, the dress, the small leather suitcase. Its like she stepped out of a modern take on a Diego Rivera or Frida Kahlo.
It's like stepping into a time machine! Love the suitcase!
www.styleisalwaysfashionable.blogspot.com
Oh no... I like this blue dress so much. And your photo show the mysterious feeling of the blue. If only I have a garment like this.
It took me a while to comment because I couldn't stop staring. The woman and her outfit are just gorgeous. Love the color and materials here. Great photo, Mr. Sartorialist!

I appreciate something that grabs your imagination and transports you to another moment. The colors are beautiful but the ribbons are what really draw me in.
As mentioned above, her flair really is so English. This is so bohemian. Love it!!
Oh My Gosh!
I love the color combination, the details of the ribbons and the little case. It really looks like a movie still.
Beautiful suitcase. Fantastic example of British fashion flair!
x
call this theatrical!!
Lilly
Something surreal about her face and skin tone...nice color palette. I like the background...it helps the compound the hues in the gown and her coat. She can't be warm but she looks great!
this is pretty but a little bit impractical for the weather we've been having lately!
and I know I will never find out, but I'd love to know how you chose your subjects... there are way too many cool kids in London to select just a few. Esp like this one.
She looks totally amazing !
I think this photo is the best so far! This woman has such an amazing personal style!. I love it! The colors are rich and everything just works so well, down to the last detail... Makes me think of a recent Marc Jacobs collection...
The combination is amazing i love it very fetch
Wow! I love it, I love her!
Whooooow... This girl definitely knows how to present herself. She looks so British and classy. I love th combo of country and classy stules. Very boho

Just beautiful, romantic, gothic, just waiting for Vlad to jump out and take a wee bite.
i love the tiny briefcase! And the tiny ribbon too, I think it ties the whole look together..!
http://mymuddledmind-bow-tie-and-bowler-hat.blogspot.com/
- i just blogged about some new vintage finds, come and take a look!
From a 13 year old blogger who was also on the Sartorialist in October xx
Oh, this picture is pure love! Such exquisiteness!
Only question - did she take the jacket off for the picture? She seems to be a bit cold. Not only because of palette of clothes and pale skin.
Also have to love the lip color.
(The ribbon on the suitcase is too much for me for an already perfect look!)
ive been trying to build the courage to go out in my city and photograph art like this. If i saw this woman down the street, id freeze. spectacular.
Oh..this is wonderful!
I like so much the colours combination!
http://lamiradadebrooks.blogspot.com
Absolutely compelling.
Snowpea

An interesting mix of waif and woman of the evening.. very intriguing.

bohème romantique
Love the colors, nude shoulder, EVERYTHING.
http://www.isthisitmodelsreview.com/
gorgeous old school england ... love it .... and that old briefcase, so much character and class, with the little red ribbon for accent .... beats the typical designer bag any day!
gosh.
I believe this is my favorite picture you have posted on your blog. I love everything about it: the textures, the draping of her dress, the edginess of her boots contrasted with the gossamer nature of her dress. I love her use of a small old suitcase (?) as her "purse." Most of all, the pop of color. Bravo!
Sara
Little Blue
Bright of the world and almost butterspread,
What a vision, I hope you’re not a vision,
Could you be what I feared so long to lose?
You little blue, you fresh breath of streets,
Cling to you do airs of pity and pitiless leaving;
Mon cheri, I’ll try to speak some other way.
Do you carry some poor prisoner in your suitcase?
I’d bundle myself for the long haul to be packed
Convenient and carried to any way station by you.
If problems could be solved and such by love,
And by some chance or if perhaps you wandered under
My window, then perhaps by you a wind raised might change.
Littlest blue, girl sweetness brushed in light,
Us rid of our jokes and palest promises to self,
You little blue, you scattering of cloud, besides.
Haunting, memorable..... you have a great eye
definitely hailey gates
Oh, there is a God.
This is heavenly, I can see her as an immigrant in the East end a hundred years ago, and this is meant in the bet way possible, her expression is evoking pure emotion
Nice
Wow, I absolutely adore the colors. They're just so bold and regal.
So romantic!
she looks fantastic. John Galliano vintage, top to toe.
This one is so inspired!
Really impressed...
Continue the good job!
Gloriously decadent!
beautiful dress, love her mix of colours

wow,sooooo cool!:)
A-MAZING!!!!!!!!

gorgeous gypsy look!
the colors, the lipstick, the pale skin. the way the dress just hangs like that on her shoulder. its all so beautiful. but.. the little brown case with the bow just almost gets too cutesy. But overall. this is one of the best pictures I've ever seen on this site.
I love that she is doing her own thing and blowing the 'on trends' out of the water.
Simply stunning. This is classic "Alice in Wonderland" meets Anthrapologie. How she mixes bold color with a little taste of vintageness...definitely one of my favorite looks!!!
The richness of the colors and textures just takes my breath away. This is a wonderfully poetic photograph that sparks the imagination of the viewer. Kudos!
Oh gosh I love this. It's very lolita inspired. The color mixing is beautiful too.
My Heart Blogged
This image instantly transported me. Gorgeous woman. Really, this is a great shot you have here.

I concur with everyone who mentioned Les Misérables; I immediately thought "Cosette."
So very Moll Flanders :)
So in love with this girl. Makes me want to know her story. A mystery. She is like a time warped heroine of some lost tale. Enraptured!
