Oh My God... This look is just perfect. I don't know who's this girl but she definitely has the sense of style. I love the way she wears her coat, just like a cape, kind in the style of what Chloé would make. And look at those pumps ! They are gorgeous and the animal print gives her this "Rrrr I'm wild" effect. The whole thing matches the girl pretty well : it's a combination of class, elegance, and style. Great !

Yet another beautiful lady that is taking the trends and making them look timeless and classy - much like the shot of the young lady on Broadway from last week with the lovely neutral pallet. To me, this is a breath of fresh air after seeing so many women follow the trends of LA/Hollywood with skin-tight, boobage exposing, look-at-me clothing. Bravo!

Blogger 82Brute said ... (7:47 AM) :

Love this coat. It reminds me of that 1960s trend toward contrast piping, etc. It's the sort of look that would have been worn with one of those Oleg Cassini helmet hats. In this case, I'm especially enamored by the pants and the shoes. She's got a nice heel but she looks very grounded. I've never taken to these aggressive and dangerous ankle-breakers that have been sending models spilling across runways for the past few seasons, (are you listening Mr. Siriano?) Anyway, this is a very confident and polished woman.

There was a designer Renee Firestone (1960) and this was very much her style. I owned almost the identical coat, same piping detail, with matching matt jersey dress, of course! Along with Walter Bass and Rudi Gernreich, they were wonderful LA designers ...

Anonymous Lori shepherd said ... (1:54 AM) :

Love the shoes, but I really love her effortless comfort in beauty. 5 items of value: purse, cropped cuffed pants, sweater top, trimmed coat and those kick-ass shoes. Wealthy (seemingly), style/quality of fabric, combo of textures, choice of monochromatic scheme, i.e simplicity or appearance of clarity - bling not necessary - smile genuine.
