I really like the way her wool jacket is tailored but that it's slightly too big for her.
And I also really like the contrast with the patterned silk shirt peeking out from underneath.

the atmosphere captured in this photo is just awesome!
I have been following your blog since the very beginning. And I am enthusiastic about almost every picture.
But there are always some that stand out for me. This shot? Definitely one of those. - Her style, her expression.
Have a nice day in Milano.
I love the tiny peek of pattern I can see.. Very enticing.
nice outfit, match & mix
Love the pop of colorful print poking out from underneath her jacket!
Bubbs...

I seems to me it would be excruciatingly difficult to live in Milan. Every day would be spent trying to "keep up with the fashion Joneses". From your photos, that would be hard.
It's hard to believe that everyone in Milan dresses like this. How about a photo or two of middle class or working class Milan? Are they equally fashionable in a less couture way? Just wondering.
I love the texture the coat adds to her outfit.
Love the shoes, nice outfit!

Great mix of the serious tailoring with the loose, floral print.

With all this gorgeous clothing and shoes, she should be smiling! :-)
Have a blessed week!

I agree! I am traveling to Milan in 2 weeks, and reading the Sartorialist the past week has shown me that if I don't act quickly, I will definitely stand out in Milan and not in a good way!
... et moi j'adooore la jupe, bonne longueur, bonne couleur, pile poil, qui met tout le reste en valeur.
Love the shoes

Textbook example of how to mix prints and patterns.
Nice composition and posture!
Beautiful light and expression on her face. Beautiful jacket.
Wow, magnificent. She has a lovely face and expression.
Nice to see someone at a fashion show not wearing a lot of makeup and for her, not needing to.
She has this cool expression on her face. Love the photo

An amazing picture that really stands out - not so much because of what she is wearing but it is a face full of expression that really makes the shot - well done

Beautiful look, such luscious colors and spot on proportions!
It's so aesthetically pleasing to see the colors of the fabrics showcased against the slate gray wall. Lovely and classic look.

looks a touch moody - but also very classy. Great photo...
I agree with Anonymous that this is one of those 'stand out' shots that remains in your memory. Her insouciance is electrifying.
beautiful composition.
fantastic outfit!! very nice the shoes :D
I love how she manages to stay feminine with this jacket. And the shoes are adorable!
Is that a Jil Sander Acetate Bag I spy. A very fashionable lady. I love her shoes as well
Black, white, blue, ochre, red, tan; this shouldn't work at all.
The fact that it does says one thing: intelligent dressing. The way the tan ankle strap casually waves at the ochre in the blouse - eeesh, I wish I'd have thought of that. Also love how the red bag marries the black and the navy.
Mootiful...
a cow's opinion on living pretty

Great Style
There is something about her attitude and the way she put her clothes together that I absolutely ADORE!
great shoes! she looks so milano!

Is that a Jil Sander PVC bag peeking through?? Love it! (and the playfully untucked shirt)!!

I love the prints of the blouse, a look chic, classic and original
It's truly very interesting to me how some people absolutely love a style and some people just don't. I've read many comments about this shot that express the former and I am decidedly with the latter. I do not like the shirt peeking out from under the jacket; it's too busy and incoherent to me. However, I really like how subjective it all is. Subjectivity allows for personal style, because we don't all like the same things and that's pretty great.
Oh to be so chic. I love that jacket
So chic!
Have a Good Day!

Skirt/shirt contrast is stunning!
Who is this woman? You posted a picture of her from about a year ago wearing children's bracelets. Great style

The over-all outcome is so dazing! I hope I have those kind of shoes here in the Philippines.
Nice shoes!
I love that she is wearing an E.Tautz blazer. Menswear as womenswear that actually works! How Stunning is she!?
Her shoes!
http://slackandlack.blogspot.com/
yes, i am waiting for the spring as well; nice interpretation
When one is physically beautiful, it is easier to get away with...anything.
I love everything she is wearing, but the blouse seems like a forced effort to give the outfit a little "edge".
I don't think it works. It upsets, detracts from, the jacket whose fabric is exquisite, and too heavy for the blouse. Maybe the blouse with a belt and a tiny cardigan? Or with black capris and ballet slippers?
heels, perfect legs, her lips and that freaky combination of clothes - I like that ;)
This is one of your most striking images.
extreamly beautiful, you do get the best dressed ones
jacket envy
This is so good. I love her heels.
divine shoes
all i can say is hat an outfit and what an shot?
great stuff
Those Shoes.
I'm in love with all the Marni shoes you've shown. dreamy.
-Sarita
I love this ... a little classic, a little playful, somewhat serious but a little careless, mostly reserved with a wild under-streak. The shoes, though, are critical.I wonder if there would be any way to work this without the stratospheric heels?
Beautiful picture of a beautiful girl. She is even more stunning in reality though. And by the way: she is a true London gal!
STUPENDE LE SCARPE!
Wow. Thats a wonderful outfit. Im amazed at how well she put this together. not very many people could do this at all. The fact that she wears this with such confidence and ease just adds the cherry on top.I have seldom seen such skillful styling.
Now I have never been to Milan, but I am sure that people there are just people. Wear what suits you, and you will look good. I wear my old Levis and favorite Jeffrey Campbell boot( I love everything he makes), t shirt and leather jacket when I travel. I bring clean t shirts and undies with me, but not much else. If they didn't like, they can kiss it. No one has ever complained yet.
You looks elegant in here
Love the shoes and the stockings make her legs look stunning but the blouse and jacket don't go well together.
I'm afraid I am not keen on this shot, nothing about it grabs me - I love your blog though!
I love her expression, the textures, the patterns and the red.
