print over denim over print over denim over t-shirt... perfect.
love the little bow! great details.
darling gentleman!
what a cute little bow tie on collar <3
love his style, suits him!
I love that patchwork denim coat. Great post.

Incredible blazer! I love the layering here--including two different pieces of denim on top! Who would have thought it would look this perfect?
wow!!! what a great capture, he looks so relaxed and cheeky. and the clothes just create such interest. i watched your doco "visual life", i've watched it a few times and i can't tell you what an amazing thing it was to hear that my not-yet-placed creativity is not lost, and is actually where you begun and in a sense still live. i love that you think of it as a freedom to not have a specific art that you linger in. really you inspired me and showed me something i have struggled with for a long time. so thanks!

ohhhhooouu...wow!!:-)
actually I have to tell you yesterday I saw such a stylish man in street in Prague, that I was sooo happy..he was so perfect to Sarto.
greeting from Czech
lovely layering; reminds of David Beckham with that oversized beanie.

What great style. I love all the plaid, and patchwork on the jacket.
My Heart Blogged
cool guy!
One word: WOW!
The beard doesn't work with this. It makes him look homeless.
stunning.
This is soo inspiring!!
I think this is my third comment in your blog but I have been visiting for quite sometime, I just realized that i have only left comments in guy's pics and I didn't do it on purpose. I think it's because it's more usual to see beautiful and stylish women in general. Even when I love the girl's pics I'm lazy and don't comment but with awesome man's pictures i get so lifted upon my feet. I guess I just love to see a man with a great different style who owns it! I wish there were more of those around where i live, in the meantime I do my sightseeing in your blog!!**cheers
I like how the vest ties in with the patchwork on his jacket.
I love him!!!
I love this bohemian look! Perfect example of looking cool at any age!
http://lisapetrarca.blogspot.com
Lovely details.
He looks like he can carry on a great conversation...And he has a pocketwatch, therefore he is alright by me.
My husband and I LOVE IT !!!
The jacket in that combination is pure genious!
I've seen this guy a few times before. Just awesome, enough said.

this is what personal style looks like
This is cool.
The patches and vest work well on this gentleman.
Also, the distressed denim pieces that he is showcasing look pretty sweet as well.

I love this look, shaggy yet still so put together.
absolutely LOVE this man's style. this is the kind of style that i seek. totally unique. completely singular and independant of any trend.
roll on.
xoxo
Exceptional style at any age...
BTW, what did you think of Thom Brown's show? Another WOW...
Very stylish...well put together! I guess the scruffy look is the trend for the season as seen in several fall 2011 runway shows.
He's so funky! I love the equestrian jewelry and his boutonniere. The layers make it too, of course.
love love love this look...so easy going and cool
Loving the plaid!

Wow GREAT LOOK...
This looks amazing!
very few could pull that off, but there's a man who can :)
such a man.
You take very interesting pictures! Care to tell me which camera and lens you use? There is a beautiful softness to so many of your pics. Adobe LR3 as sw?
J'adore!!!
Great style!

Love the layers

How DAPPER.
http://izzenxoxo.blogspot.com/
Obsessed. Denim jacket is amazing especially with the vest underneath
kiralilly.blogspot.com
This could so easily look messy (in a bad way) or kooky-in-a-contrived-way, but the guy has enough of a gentleman's gait to pull it off. He looks accidentally suave.
I was captured by the vest and the bow/pin on the lapel being cut from the same cloth.
I love it!
Cool dad or Daddy Cool?

Interesting combination of patterns
Wow, great style! Love this photo!
www.thebigiofactor.blogspot.com
So well put together, love the tiny bow, the perfect accent to it all. The jacket looks self-made, which triples this man's points..;D
The perfect man!! *-*
reminds me of an older david beckham
sexy without looking 'worked'. great style from top to toe and I love the D ring at his belt.
Everything about this is great: the faded denim, knit hat, patchwork jacket, layered effect, belt, khakis .. stop me now!
:) Rach
Wow I just spent the weekend patching up some old denim shorts so I am very pleased to see this great look today. So cool, so neat. thanks.
zomg jeff bridges
What a gorgeous man with such creative genius to put this outfit together. Love everything about him!
Nice one!
Ah, I love this photo. I can even imagine he is a great crafty person. ^^
The patch work on the little matching tartan bow, the vest, the jacket, and even the key holder "D", doulbe alyer of jean shirt and jean blazer! I don't know any man would pull off that look but himself then.
Wow, I love the beard with the hat! Even more, however, I love the laugh lines. He looks like he's probably a generally happy person. His eyes smile. :)
wow!!! He looks great!!!

looks straight of the menswear aw11 runway (including the shaggy beard)
i really like when guys wear vests like this one. i also really into the denim shirt and the beard
I like his rugged look
theultraviolette.blogspot.com
beautiful layering with peek a boo accents
cool shabbee vibe with accessory details that give a personal touch.....
so cool, love the layers!

Oh, wow. LOVE.
Denim with woolen patches, wool waistcoat, newer canvas slammed up with bohemian devil-may-care = Stylin'!
Love the layers
Reminds me Walter Van.
Lee x
I love the layering of this, particularly the unbuttoned denim shirt beneath the vest, yet it's still all tucked in. Never thought I could use the term clean for a peasant look like this!
akadamson.blogspot.com/
Absolutely amazing! What a creative and completely individual look pulled off with supreme confidence and style!
I am ABSOLUTELY in love with this attire! Simply perfection <3
the patches are very great!!!
and the little check ribbon on his jacket....wow!! it's so lovely..:D
SWEET! Absolutely, absolutely fantastic. Loveit.

For some reason this man reminds me a bit of Wayne Coyne, he has a very cool/calm demeanor.
dapper, eccentric, rasta, hippie.
clothing of contradictions.
cool.
brilliant
For some reason I just can't get on the denim tops train. The vest, belt, pants, and chain are amazing though!
Is that a guitar capo on his right belt loop? Either that or a stirup!
My first impression was "he's trying too hard". Just me...
I'm loving the denim jacket. His ease says it all!!
it's the age-defying spirit in juxtaposition with the wrinkles that I like :-)
This I have to say is one of my favorite out of this section. The out of place beard, to the plaids, and the finish of the chain is amazing. Thank you for sharing your visions.
he is so charming :)
thank you for taking all of these wondeful photographs, I dont know if you even read the comments but I just watched a short documentary on you, and I just think that you have an amazing eye.
Come by Alberta sometime (;

SWEET LOOK! gentleman!
the combination and all these layers are absolutly amazing...
Love the Denim!
This is so far my favourite photo this winter and the reason is authenticity. The unkept (no make up) face fits the way he dressed here and it does not seem like he is making a fashion statement. Reminds me of a peasant in rural Italy or a cowboy from Texas.
I like how he layers denim over denim. The vest gives a country feeling to contrast with the city vibes the denim gives. And I absolutely love his that cute little bow. A really cool look with a bit of cheekiness!
darling gentleman!
I love his layered.
Cool and totally great!
With his style, all you have to do is appreciate it.
http://lapoesiegalore.blogspot.com/
Love this pic ;))
http://mademoiselleandcomag.wordpress.com/2011/01/25/we-want-it/
he is really coool. digging his slouch beanie
www.missmollyfashions.blogspot.com
I can feel his artistic personality. He is delibrate in what he puts together. He creates, and builds his outfit. There's this creative life to him. It's neat to read the story of his person.
OUT of categorie DANDY.......pure genius. He sooo knows what he is doing. One can see incredibly well dressed men, cooly dressed men, one's that pull it off without trying, however, Yep, out of categorie. Personally, I give him my Oscar for the One who touched my soul with his Way. Oh, yes, this is a declaration of Love......
Special thanks to the director, Scot Schuman.

WOW what a great picture!! great personal style, the vest with the patched denim jacket are awesome! the equestrian touches are great

Wow! So cool!!!!
I went to a hippie liberal arts college and this guy would have fit right in except for the fact that he somehow looks chic...

I love the outfit. It is both casual and refined. Guess it took quite a long time to get all the elements together to come to that result. The photo is great also - wished I could get similar results.
wow!! :X
This is what the Watanabe collection wants to be when it grows up.
I have to say it: I love it and hate it at the same time, how is it possible?
fabulous
Lynn
wou! so different, so natural!
what a mix!!!
amazing look
Right now I wish he was my cool granddaddy.... He rocks!
http://mannequindevitrine.blogspot.com
Wayne Coyne or rather the Big Lebowski after a visit to the Goodwill store?
A beard always makes a man look older than what he is and when it´s untrimmed like that it tends to make him look like an old hippie-relic. The outfit is original, though ..
Perhaps a litte bit too much of everything? Too much details, too cool, too aware, too much pattern etc.
I have always been a fan of tweed/oatmeal coloured checks with denim. Perfect together. Love his chain, love his look, but find the beard a little straggly. I would prefer it more soigné, as the hippy aspect isn't really my thing. Having said that, he is a gorgeous man and you can just SEE that he's the right kind of human being. If he's Italian too, that's the cherry on the cake....
Great pic and I love his style!

http://www.maddenim.blogspot.com/
this man's so far the best guy you've ever snapped. i love everything about this shot: the clothes, the vibe, the lighting, the person, everything.
amazing. i think he's some kind of an artist. so charming.
this patchwork denim jacket is awesome and cool!

Hobo Chic!
The blazer is amazing. I love it.
This look is unique.
Great, fabulous, inspiring, a very, very cool gentleman.
Thanks + cheers from stuttgart, d
i love this photograph!
ESTILAZO MÁXIMO!
love him♥
A bit too studied for my taste
I dont like it it looks so artificial I look at this men and i thought he has been so many time at the mirrow
Amazing patchwork!
http://fashiondoesntexist.blogspot.com/
Love everything but the jacket. A little too precious for me, but would be adorable on a child. This look would be perfect with a beat up corduroy jacket or a chunky sweater, or just nothing but the vest and shirts as is. He's got a very charming face and I love the belt and the hardware.
amazing :) lovely details!
What a charming man! I'm from Portugal, and i just love your blog. Keep the good work and the amazing ye that you're have for the world.
Congrats.
Such great style here but the crinkly crow's feet are his nicest accessory - indicate years of smiling.
oooh i'm falling love !
Great patchwork denim jacket,I love it!!!
..hot
- isabelle à montréal
My favorite part is his big bushy beard. It reminds me of the grownup handsome I used to get crushes on when I was a kid in the 70s.
i like seeing 'old' guys, that really know how to dress well.
His style says to me, "Spare change, mister?"
I like that look a lot. Cool dood.
Love love...especially the timy slivers of uncut red threads. bellisimo.
This guy looks as if he would be as interesting on the inside as he is on the outside, to me that is true style. Your pics make me day dream about different people in different worlds and lift my spirits in cold, grey New York. Thank you!
The Columnista xx
Love the clothes, his long hair is ok but I prefer a trimmed beard
Love his clothing. But he needs a shave and a haircut. I can just see a handsome face underneath.
Oh my cat!!!!!
The juxtaposition between this gentleman's hair, his hat, his patches and faded coat (my favorite element) and the dapper plaid vest, layering of color, belt and hardware detail, is simply divine. It's like he owns his clothes in saying," I like shabby when it's has decorum, and I'm so proud of my shabbiness, I'm dressing it to the max" The red ties on the plaid patches are so brilliant and the bow....wow! Like diamonds in dust....this photo exemplifies how informal meets formal and all the rules come tumbling down. The hair and beard are precisely what makes this story so complete. Thank you so much for another wonderful photo!
attitude
i don't usually leave comment, but i gotta do it this time
i love his style!!
This man knows his textures and has a great eye. I love the grungy yet classic elements that clearly reflects who he is - great beard :)
the most urbane hobo.
this look is so studied and specific. It would taste like a costume but for his face and the commitment of the big beard and long hair. He means it!
great style! so classy and easy at the same time...
He has his own and very personal style. I Love it. A kind of funky style
there's not part of this man that says sloppy or too fashion,,, lov the style, so much comes and goes but Denim and patch's always looks right, what about seeing the shoes?
I get the impression spilling red wine on his couch wouldn't be a problem. He wouldn't diss someone for the choices they make, even if they were the opposite of his own. He looks like he sees beyond appearances. If I had to describe him in two words (which of course I don't!) I would say: 'angst free.'
He looks wonderful!
Love his face...it looks lived in and kind.
He is beautiful. ♥ What a story is told in just one photograph!
Ageless, stunning, ueber-cool rock n roll outfit with an intellectual twist! Simply killer look!
hipster love. :)
great style. easy and weathered. he is too cool :))
FANTASTIC!!
Love the jacket!

You are welcome to visit my blog too :)) Kisses!
I am drooling! :) Excuse me while i attempt to duplicate this ensemble...
captivating! i am absolutely thrilled and smitten by this look. yet another example of how style extends to more than just clothes - this makes me want to sit down with this man over coffee or a drink and just share stories.
Absolute perfection!
www.beautifulstreets.blogspot.com
that bit chain is dope!
every single detail just oozes with coolness.
Very nice. My husband recently bought a nice vintage levi demim jacket and I am going to show him this picture for inspiration.
Love this! Love the patches and the simple gray tee underneath. The hat gives it a more casual feel. I love your blog it always inspires me to want to dress better.
er, your effort's showing big-time, pal.
What a great idea: break up the double denim on top with a patterned vest. How very impressive.
il a beaucoup de charme !!
you could stare... for a while...
Oh, love love love this look. I love hats, especially soft woven ones like his. Extremely good looking in every way.
awesome!!
maybe less facial hair next time..
great style
So good, love the multiple fabrics!
thats exactly how my dad is. So rugged.
Did someone say he looked homeless... I'll give him a home! That little denim sandwich is so perfect, the bow garnish one twist too many for me but just love the personality in his style!

Changing the face of fashion
http://thecaveofwonders.blogspot.com/
I smiled instantly. I second Danner. This guy seems so incredibly with himself. That's key to great personal style in my opinion
Love the ensemble but he's trying a little too hard to look 20 years younger. Doesn't need to do that.
I love him but not for look only
Love the layering and especially the checkered vest. The colors are great-- the style is so unique!
mmm, all of these bearded men look so handsome!
i love how this man looks both put-together (jacket, vest, belt, etc.), but raggedy. rather reminds of of depression-era gentlemen. worn-in, but proper. i love all of his little details too!
This is what I looking for!
Jeans and patches.
이거 정말 이태리장인이 한땀한땀 만든거 맞죠? :)
love the pose. Love the jacket, I want one for myself :)
