Simplicity does it all sometimes. I like this!
http://viorellaphoto.blogspot.com
it's simple! love it!
The shoes really pop against the grey and black.
Simple and beautiful

Perfect minimalistic outfit x
Nice silhouette, the jacket is great, the colour of the shoes and socks are a good contrast to the shades of grey of her trousers and hat.
i like the picture.
A happy new year to everybody from stuttgart, germany.
You're back! How was your holiday?
Great start to the New Year.
I like the lenght of the pants, and the color of the shoes. Also the grey and grey together looked so nice, what a stylish dude, gorgeous photo.
Love Iben

thescribblerist.blogspot.com
I like the length of the pant
That's a confident gesture to wear nearly new shoes and hope to keep salt stains at bay!
And a beanie for the day it is...
LOVE a camel shoe with a fun sock and grey!! So hot!
http://bresfittingroom.blogspot.com
Long, long time ago -when I was a teenager- we wore those shoes.
Here in Germany they were called duck-shoes.
I want these shoes!
www.stonkalatho.blogspot.com
Those shoes look so comfortable and practical for the streets of New York. I think a black or darker color would be a better match with what she's wearing.
Its sold cold out.....I love this shot :)

simple, casual, comfortable.. love it.
Simple and stylish.

there's not a pair of highwaters you dislike mr. schuman!
Great great look! The stoic pose matches the minimalistic outfit. And don't those shoes pop?

Cool style!

I love how hard it is to tell if this is a man or woman and either way it is a great look!
I love the proportions here, but most especially I love the way the subject is leaning into whatever the future has to offer.
More floods? I'm digging everything here but the length of the pants.
Superb! More like this please!
Not a fan of those shoes. Trendy slub hat. Looks like a random person in NYC.
I get it, I get it: slim-legged pants are short and off the shoe.
Love the sea-green behind the gray stocking cap, and the usual contrast of focus.
The green background really makes the gray color pop! Nice.

Simplicity in action. And such an inviting pose.
the streets are not flooding...someone should tell her it's ok to roll her pants down. overall a very unflattering ankle region.
Are those Clarks?
Otherwise....eh...I've seen it beofre but cool.
Hotnesss :D

LOVELY
1970's flashback!
those orange crepe soled shoes certainly make a statement 30 years later.
What makes this photo interesting is the drape of the knit cap, the slight peplum of the jacket, the cropped ankle and slant of the trouser and the toe box of the shoe.
all put together in profile it has impact.
i love that hat!
http://beachesandpeaches.com
Such a strong profile few. I love the surprise I got when I scrolled down and voila! Caramel Tan shoes to complete the outfit!
Now if I can only get a hat to sit on my head like this.

Happy new year! : )

Great colors.x
I love simple, but those shoes!! Not even in cold weather.
Oh c'mon, Sart! What is interesting on this outfit? Did I miss something? Truly speaking, I had wished for a more glamorous start of your blog into 2011. Apropos, a joyful new year to everyone!
Nice Pic!!!!

The cuff in the pants that flood a little above the shoes is a great example of how a small detail can make all the difference in an outfit.
Simplicity at its best!

I like the hat. But mine is also pretty! Isn´t it?
Simple makes beautiful.
www.theericszeto.blogspot.com
lovely, but the shoes look too big for him/her
That's a young woman. My own daughter looks precisely this way, and MaryAnn has it right -- the angle of the hat that flows into the drape of the scarf that leads down to the jutting peplum-bottom that drives down to the angle of the cuff and then that shoe. Perfection.
nice and clean.
a perfect shot!
Such a great look! Those shoes are perfect and I love the hat.

Nope... Noppppeeee..
I think the pants make his feet look huge! Or maybe he's wearing someone else's shoes? Don't you think his feet looks weird?
And red socks??? Really?
Nice lips, thou.

Simplicity is magic!
The pants man. The bloody pants.

simple and perfect...fab shoes
Very stylish blog! :)
I hope there's a lover in her life who, sometimes when it is cold like it is, pulls her close by the lapels of that wonderful cloth coat and brings her near enough to share their warmth and touch noses.
The hunched up shoulders and hipster-leaned toque say it all about right now. Those shoes are all about happy feet!
Bravo Scott...
those boots made the outfit!
Love NY!

Love his hat!
www.LaPetiteMarmoset.com
I like how his shoes and socks pop, but I don't know about the way the pants are tucking around his butt, maybe a little girly? Then again, why should it only be acceptable for women to wear pants like that? "Why not?" I say.
he doesn't look warm enough...
love the hat!

Hello Scott!
I'm and American photographer living and working in Seoul for the past two years. I would love to show you around this amazing city, especially the cafes. I'm an expert on cafes here as it is what I photograph the most. I know the best ones in terms of lighting, architecture, ambiance and of course, interior design). You will be amazed, trust me.
Have a great day!

http://jimjims.net
Haha very classic. I love the way she leaned forward. xD
simplicity is key.
this outfit is nothing short of amazing, with the greys and blacks being the main part of the outfit, but then the shoes really stand out, simply for being a different color, not a bright one.
you instantly look at her shoes.
who knew tan could stand out so much!

Possibly one of my favorite streets in the world! I miss it...Favorite cafe is La Colombe on Prince & Lafayette.
I need the hat. Chilly in SoCal, my ears get cold when I'm on my nightly walk.
Ohhhhh I need this man look in my life asap.

OMG I don't get these highwater pants... don't your ankles get cold?? I'm also not a fan of those shoes...
I'm surprised to see all these positive comments.
Where did all the snow go... or is she ready for it?

I love the simplicity of his outfit. The matching of greys and the pops of black and tan. Some of my favorite color combination. And it can't hurt that this guy has a nice body to photograph :-)
Decontract and cool, i love it...
The shoes really make the outfit but I love it all around! Great photo as well!
I just fell in love with those shoes
Like everything in this outfit but the shoes...

this photo is just amazing
it's the line and neutral palette here that works for me. the total simplicity at it's best
This is awful! I can't believe so many people are saying it's great! Do the head cut-off test, scroll the picture up so you can no longer see the woman's cute face. Awful awful awful.
Enjoy your works a lot)
