Oh, this is soooo cool. Are they trousers or leggings? Nice coat too, all so matching!
Great capture there once again Scott!
The coat certainly adds a lot of height.

Great coat and boots!

Furry legs))
these boots are the best..better than uggs. they are made in italy.
mine have gotten me through 4 winters so far. made by a company that goes by the name oscar..and pajar.
was on fifth wearing my black ones, noticed whilst standing at the light, two more pairs of feet, shod in the same boot.it was my satorialist and bill cunningham moment.
She's hiding a bear under that coat!!
chewbacca??!
Boots + coat = FAB!!! I love it! www.copperetiquette.wordpress.com
Chanel inspired? Love the camel coat.
I like what the girl on the sidewalk is wearing more so than your subject, although the leggings are interesting
love the photo of her back

Camel is such an elegant color. The fur looks good with it.
I wonder what she's thinking about? She looks very intense...Love the coat!
Love the boots!
Good job!

Looks too chilly for me!
This one doesn't work for me, too frumpy looking, the fur and oversized coat are too bulky.
Maybe if I saw the front view, probably not though.

What!!? There is a $1300 penalty for honking?? In NYC!!???
Love that coat and the determination in her stride.
Whooops..it's only a $300 penalty...thank goodness! ;)
Her trousers rock!!!! Love them.

Caroline had a meeting this morning uptown and wondered what to wear with all the new snow that came last night to NYC. Her flight to Aspen had been cancelled and she would not be heading west until the weekend, so why not wear the boots she had planned to take skiing? With her camel coat, she thought they looked great...and they reminded her that soon enough, she would be in the lodge with a lovely glass of wine by the fire.

No, for me this is so Chewbacca... :)
btw, jokes aside - just no thanx, too much... "too much".
http://www.isthisitmodelsreview.com/
I had to do a double take to figure out whether she was wearing fur trousers or boots! I love the head to toe neutral camel! (not sure if I'm a fan of the boots though!)

this actually works quite well... impressive.
strange effect with the boots, but the add a real style to the outfit :)
my blog : http://leblogmodedejulie.blogspot.com/
This is not nice at all. The coat look like she's been sleeping in it, and the boots are just hmm, horrible. But its a good shot, and her profile is beautiful.
when Garance said "newyorker with class" :-)
In spain,it's rainning I 'm going with my frog'boots...
It doesn't make sense...sorry :-)
Love the fur boots!!! An absolute must for braving the frigid streets of the northeast this week!
OMG I love it. Sort of reminds me of the kangaroo people in the movie Tank Girl. Too cool!
fabulous !
so different !
really love it !
This is a trend I've seen in the Pacific Northwest; really furry leggings under cropped pants or danskin wrap skirts. The fur I've seen is fake (re: the comment above): no animal sacrifice required. The girls I've seen have a decided overall boho look; siwash sweaters, batik layers, scarves, earflap hats, so it's kinda different to see the polished camel jacket paired with the fuzzy wuzzies.
I love the coat! She definitely has the height to pull off a really long coat like that, and it looks so streamlined!
The boots, however... Haha. Well, maybe it's because I'm from this area, and they're pretty common to see. Furry boots, that is. Or perhaps it's because I've become so sick of wearing my own snowboots (mine are not furry) but I just can't appreciate big furry boots right now. Also, furry boots similar to these are often seen on teenybopper young girls wearing miniskirts and baby-tshirts out in Los Angeles.
I'm not judging her or her style, because, hey, it's been a really snowy winter. Plus, big furry snowboots are popular for a reason. But I'm not sure I'd focus on them as fashion inspiration or anything like that for myself. :)
Maybe it's just beacuse I'm used to seeing it. Maybe that's the same reason I love pretty much all things Italian right now. It's different to look at. 8)
A yeti or l'abominable "femme" des neiges...but in a cute version!
Shazam! Must be cold in the NYC. Those boots look warm and fuzzy and puuuuurfect.
I think the coat is too sophisticated to pair with the boots. If I absolutely had to wear those boots, I would pair with tight jeans and waist length coat. Personally, when I see those boots on the nyc streets I can't help but imagine how nasty that faux fur gets when mixed with coca cola slush.
Love the coat, not lovin' the fur as much as most of the people here are
http://samalamode.blogspot.com
I don't know if these are fury boots or trousers; but I would just LOVE it if they were trousers.
Channeling Chanel with furry boots. :)
it's hard to be fashionable when it's cold out. i like her look including her understated hair.
Keep the coat and throw the rest away!
Sorry, but that boots is way too much! What is this? Caveman comes back?

Oh I love this. A mixture of texture and fun and topped off with the hair in a bun. Love the boots, they are to die for. She is brave for leaving the head uncovered. I would die of cold without a hat. But, the absence of the hat makes her all the more "real".
Beautiful...I Like!
That's what's missing in my life - furry boots!

Uh,this doesn't work for me, the funny boots which at first glance look like trousers, then the coat which is rumpled. I would like an accessory please.
The camel coat is absolutely beautiful and simple. I'm having a hard time about the pants though.

I love to see fashion at work. This gentleman, for instance, is clearly on his way to his job at the Natural History Museum where he will no doubt retrieve the upper part of his Big Foot outfit for Urban Legends exhibit

stunning!!!! is it a male or a female?
Those yeti trousers seems warm and confortable.Great!
The camel thing just doesn't work for me, can't quite get my head around it at all, but then I know nothing about fashion !!
Hi,
Oh, I'm so in love with this look. The camel coat is fantastic, and those boots are awesome than ever! This picture is amazing. Wish I had winter in here!
Love,
Kristel
I have these boots in brown and black and they are warm and waterproof--necessities when you step off a curb into icy slush. I haven't worn mine with a long formal coat but in NYC on a snowy day, necessity is the mother of invention!
This would make a great add for "Lady Schick"
she looks like a huge teddy bear from the back....love it! The boots are, without doubt, a better alternative to uggs.

Amazing fur boots, it looks like the fur of the boots is the end of the trousers...glamourous!

Good lord! I wouldn´t be caught dead in those boots - You don´t have to sit in your coat for long for it to get wrinkled like this. The best thing about this picture is her profile and her hair - she has a kind of sophisticated natural look about her.
Ah-ha! So that's how they stay warm in NYC in the snow!! Fur pants - duh! I wonder how many layers are under the gorgeous coat? The material doesn't look terribly thick.
I'm from sunny California (readers don't hate me), and I think I'd throw all morals out the door and wear head to toe fur in those conditions.
LOL.
Thanks Sart!
eck not so much. I love the jacket ....but matched they look like fur pants over boots instead of just boots with it. Everything mixed together (oversized coat, mammoth looking pant/boots, and hair) looks frumps. Even if it looks better from the front, this doesn't work from the back.
worst outfit i have ever seen on this site.
The legs are very animal like.
www.minuseight.tumblr.com
The proportions are ALL wrong. It just bring her down. Slouchy, sleepy, just out of hibernation. Don't like it.
not working. the coat is beautiful. but the shoes are not working! especially with the coat. looks like she rolled out of bed.
I love the camel coat, and she looks lovely, but I don't find it practical to wear shaggy winter boots. The "fur" gets matted with snow, and you have to brush them out every time before you enter a building! But I suppose that fashion and practicality are very distant cousins...
SO much clothes, still so thin.
Yetti peeking out under the coat....what an odd look.
I'm just going to go in record right now saying that I have always found Uggs to be the shoe equivalent of the hair scrunchy. Though this look isn't my favorite, I'm sincerely grateful to see someone thinking outside the Ugg box.
She really should shave her legs.
this lady's whole look looks too slopy and unkept... even if its MaxMara coat and trendy boots... all together doesnt look chic....
even in bad weather there are better choices than that.
sorry if i've offended other respondents, who have found it to be 'tres chic'
Why don't all of you fur lovers check out some 'china fur' videos...
Crazy, but cool, probably due to the craziness
I am sorry but this really not cool, I think its really ugly and out of style. I it very neglige, the bulky coat and the bulky fur do not go together, at least of the coat was short maybe or if the boots were more delicate. There is no femininity whatsover in the outfit.
horrible coat - she makes the mistake you've pointed out before. It's way too big on her.
think i really need to get myself a camel coat for the upcoming australian winter!
I don't like the boots. It looks like she is wearing chaps.
Not so sure about the trousers.
those shoes are just awesome. bet he made a few heads turn!
These boots are wrong choice for this coat, looks scary...
Either lose the coat or lose the chewbacca legs. Or wear a shorter and tighter coat to offset the huge-ness of those boots!?? Just sayin'.
this is like waking up drunk but having a closet full of beautiful mistakes.
you see, I dont know how I feel about those boots/shoes yet...
www.milegonzalez.wordpress.com
nice camal coat. too bad can not wear it here in bangkok
http://mmcandybkk.blogspot.com/
Good for her! Love it! Let's start a movement away from the slavery of stilettos - at least in Winter and for walking.
Gisele??
I think I saw a pair of these at the rodeo on tv. Such a simple look until you look down. very unique.
Create you own Shirt and Tie, Designer Cufflinks
OOOO Yeti boots or pants? With them peeping under that coat is actually quite pleasant. Seen too many around who wore it wrongly and end up looking like a baboon. Though I am curious how her outfit looks like on the front.
