Loving the pleated maxi, and the textures of the jacket are amazing. Gorgeous outfit.
Oh my oh my...I am swooning over that muffler of hers. Love the contrast of her hair against all the muted browns and greys. Great shot.
Best,
Mariah

Oh! The muff! The magnificence of the muff!
And I mean that in the Victorian sense of the word.
*she sniffs and adjusts her bustle primly*
Oh no she didn't! Love the bangs.

And beyond the muff, is that a lovely Borsalino fedora she's also sporting? Lovely...
Great shot, one of my favorite. We would never see this great styling without you brinning this to us. Thank you. Love Chanel from Russian inspired collection.Love your choices. Visit my website www.maistrovah. com for gorgeous saphire blue leather handbags made in Italy.
She looks vampiresque with her long dark skirt and hat, emerging from the shadows.
I enjoy the Chanel muff against the streamilned silhouette

Wow. Whoa.
this one I dont like (I dont like the outfit) out of all those great pictures before
Amazing!!!
Wow super clean cut, somehow everything falls perfectly together. And she's using her Chanel as a miff! I wonder if that's the inspiration. How peculiar!

timeless chanel muff
Relaxed and elegantly chic...quite lovely!
maxis will rule 2011
love the chanel muff and have never seen one, not even once, on the streets of manhattan.
haven't seen women wearing long skirts during the day either.
this is a beautifully elegant look, which seems so european to me.
interesting how certain fashion looks don't make it across the atlantic, when they should.
Oh my gosh! So So Chic!
Lovely.
love the jacket and the hand warmer....xx
What a stunning portrait.

what's great about the leather jacket is that it can be worn with just about anything and still look good, the muffler is a nice touch.

Love all the juxtapositions here! Leather, fur, femm hair, boyish hat. Tres chic!

The pleated skirt is so great! And I love the texture of the jacket xx
I love the long pleated skirts..you don't see too many women wear pleated skirts...maybe it's too preppy of a look?
love the mixture of soft fabrics with a tough jacket!

She nailed it! Love

A very beautiful woman and class. Looks great. It reminds me of a lady.
WANT THAT JACKET!!
She looks like she cames up of her grandmother's closet. But shows her personality, and that it's the important stuff! **
Great look, excellent photo!
i like her bangs but her clothes make me jumpy.
love the jacket
beautiful combinations. love the chanel bag!
The Jacket is very gorgeous and its delicate above all, but there must be some finishing touches that need to be carefully done in order to make it more glamorous.
i like this pic a lot..
the colors are so dramatic/dark as well her expression... very romantic
Marlo
this look is simply marvelous! what a lady.

the muffler is adorable, love it(:
and i really like the skirt too, it also looks like a comfortable outfit !
http://whoop-itup.blogspot.com/
nice skirt!!
I love the leather jacket with the insert of a darker leather, and are those sleeves suede? It's a nice combination, especially since it is collarless. Makes the whole issue of whether to wear your shirt collar outside or inside redundant. I also love it with the softness of a pleated maxi, is that chiffon?
She looks outside of time but always into it. So chic
Love the blonde hair! Amazing look.
soooo tres chic :) can't wait for your Seoul pics!
It`s soooooo Italian!!
Thats a great pleated maxi. Love it. The jacket is superb as well. Such special pieces!

It looks like she was having a fashion crisis and coulnd't decide between two or maybe even three outfits - the brown leather jacket with the black goth pleated shirt and the Debbie Gibson hat. It misses the mark entirely. Sorry.
I like the long silhouette & the brown & black colour scheme. Hard to believe that Christian Dior shocked the world when he mixed brown & black in the 1940s/50s!

I really like how she combined everything together. Its so chic.

So classic and beautiful. And how phantastic to have a chanel muff!
You have a magic eye, très raffiné, Stéphane, Paris 8eme
I love the long pleated maxi skirt. Being very tall, I always have trouble finding a length of skirt that I like. This is gorgeous, though.
I love that black & brown ensembles have made a comeback.
She is the most perfect lady I've seen here ever! I also love her complex jacket with the peacock leather. Blast me for giving away my peacock boots when I was an ungrateful teenager!
love the bag!

LOVELY!
YES, THIS LOOK HAS PERSONALITY...
http://levoiture.blogspot.com/
Wow...Remember Dexy's Midnight Runners?...At least this is the chic 21st version of it! Love the muff...'cuz ya know it gets pretty gosh darn freezing in Milan.
Great look. Love the skirt!
i'm digging her brown coat with the skirt...
http://adorablydeliciouslp.blogspot.com/
The pleated skirt is absolutely timeless.
that jacket !
http://andthespidersfrommars.blogspot.com/
I am loving the mix of textures. The Chanel fur, the ostrich leather, and suede creates a striking image.

Love the hat and the haircut! She looks so simple, yet gorgeous and ready to face the cold.

lovely pose.. and backdrop... serene :)
Very beautiful!! This photo is literally perfect!

What are you people thinking? This look is a disaster! I wonder if the Sartorialist is playing a game of Emperor's New Clothes with his readers, just to see how many unthinking "I'm loving this look! Wow!" responses he can get.
I'm leaving the entire silhouette...and the chanel muff lol
Love, love, love that pleated skirt. And that muff ~ swoon!
That is some long necklace!
love the bag - very classic.
Your hat is so nice.... I love it.
that lady is mad stylin'.
The romance of this makes me swoon. We are heading to Italy in 7 weeks (can you tell I'm counting?) I'm stuck in Minnesota this winter - the temperature has been below 20 for 2 months and snow almost daily. (-15 degrees tonight!) Minnesota fashion is an oxymoron. One can only wear practical boots, a down coat, a hat which flattens your hair and usually pants / jeans that you can tuck in your boots and a sweater to keep warm. No jackets under a down coat - not a good look! The salt and snow ruin everything. What freedom to dress like this. I am dreaming of it - and packing this weekend just to pretend the time is near.
a great look. i would love a muffler like that to keep my little hands warm.
I normally have nothing but sweet things to say but this time?...It's "Um...No." Not a mean 'No' just a "Yeah, you won't see me imitating this any time soon" kind of No. But I definitely appreciate her... uh..."uniqueness"...is that a word?
Scary.
The coat is timeless, and I wish more people used muffs. That girl has some serious style.
My Heart Blogged
Everything is so severe yet its almost romantic....how interesting.
Nice hair!

she looks absolutely fantastic.

Don't have much to say on the fashion, but from a shooter's point of view, divine.
I think is grab bag is a miss. Perhaps whatever you saw didn't make it through the lens to me but I'm not seeing anything particularly stylish here.
Love her jacket, fab!
I just love this pic! so amazing!
So stylish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i love the muff from Chanel. I have one in all black, and should wear it more often.
www.letyourstylespeak.com
I like her hair n black skirt.
looks great. so chic!
She's all kinds of nifty! Truth be told, this isn't too far from how I had hoped people would be dressing in this century...
Oh, now SHE looks gorgeous. Her coat is the stuff of which winter wardrobes are made.
I like this alley!
http://jimjims.net
this woman is utterly amazing...head to toe..her jacket fabulous and paired perfectly with her maxi...with the added vintage glam hand muff! i love
As a little girl I thought muffs were the best things ever and then somewhere, somehow, somebody led me to beleive muffs were impractical and silly. Her look is quite lean and pretty and the muff is an elegant and luxurious touch. I really like everything here a lot.
A charmer. Love her eye.
The columnular, close-fitting silhouette proves that drama comes from the subtle and well as the outrageous. Classy yet fun.
Meraviglia!
what a perfect look, wow!

I love midis and maxis but this looks wrong. The skirt and jacket are too opposing. And the large Chanel logo on the muffler looks fashion-victim. Great idea, but wrong choices of garments IMO.
i like her style! especially the chanel bag!

hmmmm...doesn't click for me. I think it would have been better to take a photo of the marvelous sculpture by Igor Mitoraj in that same piazza.
She is just stunning! Has definitely owned the look.
Loved the look! The Chanel muff..OMG!! Super special touch!
Ohhh Chanel how I love thee...

I think this is a perfect mix of swank and practical. I *love* the leather jacket and fits her small proportions so well.
With her exceedingly slender build, white blond bangs and beautiful face, this woman would look good in virtually anything. My take is that she's wearing a long, almost formal, black dress and shiny necklace. The Chanel muff will become a glittery shoulder bag indoors. The quirky mix suits her but may have been assembled mostly for warmth. Once she removes the hat and jacket, she will still look elegant but not so imaginatively discordant.
it's not stylish, it's scary.
Amazingly chic ... Love her hair
!!! WOW !!!
loving this shot, the clothing portrays strength and femaninity.
While the model portays innocents and meekness with the way she holds herself, its funny how a picture can stir so many images in ones mind.....
all I have to say is gorgeous
thank you for sharing it
Simple and Elegant !
hair looks like Halloween. jacket looks great. fancy skirt.
purse just matches!
andrea (9 years old)
I want that muffler. I wonder what it's made from. It's lovely.
I like her ensemble. I do however, think the muff is unnecessary.
She would have looked just as stunning without it.
I am in love with this woman... tho i am not loving the jacket.... but who cares...
This is not supposed to sound mean or anything but I couldn't stop myself from thinking "she is really thin" and not in a positive, healthy way...ignoring that factor I love the haircolour and the hat
the bag and the hair make the look. subtle yet powerful.
