Anonymous sldez said ... (6:40 PM) :

I love the cut and the monotone, the way his scarf is tied and the popped collar. but i can't help but notice the material of the coat, it screams cheap. Its something you would find on a mid-priced brand jacket. compromise on price and you compromise on quality of material, and that's exactly what we find in this photo. Maybe if the gentleman bought ray ban specs instead of the tom fords in his front pocket, he would have had money left to purchase a similar sharp coat from a maker that uses better fabric.. mm just food for thought.

You should visit some High Schools/ colleges in these cities and see what the "in thing" is in each one
I know where i live in the ATL (GA)
that high school kids have style and it differs from adults

Anonymous Sarah said ... (8:01 AM) :

Amazing that you find REAL people (not prof. models) just walking around on the streets. This looks like something in the pages of magazines! I'm going to need to be more observant down here in Texas. I dunno if I'm going to see this!

Blogger Uzair Siddiqui said ... (8:10 AM) :

Haha, I've been learning Italian for two years now and I have the most random pronunciation mistakes because of my Italian overdose. I took a while to come to terms with you having written 'Monotone' because I thought you had written 'Mono-tow-ne' and I was like, "Wait, that doesn't mean anything in Italian"!

Great job one the blog though. I don't usually comment online but it's always a pleasure to come here :)

handsome much?

Blogger Laura said ... (11:19 AM) :

I think you mean "monochrome" or "monochromatic!"
A beautiful picture regardless!

Blogger Sophia said ... (12:00 PM) :

The monotone colour is definitely offset by the various textures/materials of his clothing. Not to mention the striped shirt peaking out from behind his coat collar. His expression also conveys that there is something more behind the man himself.

Blogger InStudio Blog said ... (12:06 PM) :

Anonymous Sophie Mhabille said ... (1:19 PM) :

What a real man!

Blogger TussahSilk said ... (2:02 PM) :

I have to agree with the earlier commenter who said this picture isn't really about the clothes.

I find it interesting that so many people are affected by this looking straight to camera shot of an elegant man who appears to be at the intersection (zenith?) of experience and virility. His craggily handsome, well-lived in face and the full head of salt and pepper hair is VERY sexy.

I wonder how he will look in five years time? For right now though this picture is arresting, and I'm not immune...

Blogger Kacrates said ... (2:03 PM) :

handsome and rugged with a bit of polish is more like it.

Blogger Julie said ... (3:11 PM) :

Men age so beautifully.

Blogger secret38 said ... (3:57 PM) :

OMG google his name you get his pic from your site, Sart, 3-4 years ago - he looks SO much better now! Maybe its not just the cragginess, the salt and pepper hair, the cool navy not-try-hard look, its the look he gives us too - he knows more, he's lived, it hasn't all gone well perhaps but who cares - he's a better man for it :-)

Blogger TheHypeAround... said ... (7:29 PM) :

Strong, masculine ,handsome, romantic. Confidence does not always need a blaring horn ( feel me, Kanye?) but can be as subtle as this gentleman's deft styling of his wardrobe.

Blogger sunshine and daydreams said ... (7:30 PM) :
