UPDATE - The Sartorialist casting in Rome!!!
**LOCATION OF CASTING HAS BEEN MOVED. PLEASE SEE ADDRESS BELOW
As a lot of you know, last summer I shot the campaign for OVS in Milan. Well it was a big hit and OVS have asked me to shoot their upcoming summer 2011 campaign in Rome.
As a great way to update the campaign and be more reflective of what I do, I have conviced OVS to let me cast a portion of the campaign from you, my audience.
So here's the deal...
I want casting that looks like my blog - men and women, all ages, all races, all sizes... with one commonality, great style and charisma.
The casting will be held
NOVEMBER 7th
10am - 2pm
l'Hotel Cicerone
Via Cicerone 55
Roma
The room's name - Sala Cesi-Valadier.
The people should be from Rome or the surrounding areas. You must be available for the shoot dates
NOVEMBER 8TH - 11TH
The people selected could be used as main subjects or as extras.
Secretly, I'm really excited to be able to meet some cool Sartorialists whilst in the Eternal City and have a chance to celebrate some of my audience in an Italian national ad campaign.

Sue
This is very exciting... except for one thing. Your blog does not feature "all sizes". Dont get me wrong, I love this blog, check it every day, got the book, but while you do occasionally feature larger men, you never feature larger ladies. In the book there is ONE picture of a larger lady, and I never see them on the site, Love your work, it is a fashion fantasy, but please, I think most of your readers will know that there is a distinct lack of variety in sizes. I'm not talking about showing obese women here, but some ladies more than a UK 12 would be a start!
C
When r u visiting Portugal?
keep up the wonderful work :D
wow! this is seriously great, see you on sunday!
I was ready to hop on the first train to Rome...till I read 'people should be from Rome'. That's how much I love the idea and this blog and also because you'll never happen to be in the most un-stylish city (Brescia) where I now live.
Can't wait to see the campaign!!
That's a great idea. Good luck ! Will there be more those kind of castings, f.e. in Barcelona ? x x
Perfect! I'm Italian and I live in Rome... I'll be there! ;)
If there was ever a time I CRAVED to be in Rome, this is it. Sorry you can't pick me :) I'll be here in Ontario, Canada.
i'm going to spend at least half a year in rome since february...

good luck
a.
Also in istanbul pls.. You should see istanbul. That city is the mix of culture and style. Fashion is living there.
I'll be in Rome this weekend from Florence but leaving on Sunday at 2pm! What a shame. I'll be dressing my best in hopes to run into you, please make your way to Firenze next.
You and Coco Chanel are who inspired me to never leave the house "undone."
Hope to see you and best of travelings in Roma!

Oh, I'm really sure it will be another successful campaign for OVS and I'm even more sure that next year they would like to repeat the experience... so be advised that next casting will have to be held in Florence, ok? ;)
