SHOES :)
Does anyone know who makes those boots on the above shot? I am lusting for them...
That look captures the spirit of the season.

Oh my! Black boots - J'adore! Great photography as always, thank you.
Love the lady's cute socks pushed down. & the first gentleman's boots are amazing.
It is unfortunate that the first gentleman has new shoes. I would have seen worn boots.

Tweed and denim...can't get much better than that this winter!!
The boots in the first picture are an eye-popping stand out, and the complimenting raw denim also adds balance and texture. Love the look.
Lovely combination!! the boots in the firts one are beautiful.the second photo is great!!
So it's okay for men to wear jeans?
Gorgeous combination. Adore the shoes!!

2 classical fabrics... Perfect! (and the blue can take the plaid)
Love it! The contrast of textures and colours provides for an amazing combination. Great Fall attire!
Look no hands!
I am saving up this winter to buy my first tweed jacket!

Sensational!
The first picture really am into and the second photo is so sweet.
Both invoke such rich sentiments.
Tweed is the only good thing about terrible weather.

Love the boots in the first photo and the loafers in the second one.
Tweed is the reason for my existance..I adore it.

Can anyone ID the denim in the second picture??
Great photos! and love the jackets.
It looks like those boots are too big for that person in the top photo.
I really dig the houndstooth coat and the denim. Not something you typically see on a guy. The tassel loafers and socks is great on the female, as well.

I want those boots in the first photo! anyone know who makes them?
Those boots.... wow.

Everything in the detail.
Great combination.

First image, top boots!
Tweed, as an accent piece, works so well!
awesome.

I know I'm supposed to look at the tweed and denim of these pictures, but I like the girl's loafers with the tassels and the ankle socks. It's taking some time to persuade me, but I like the socks and flat shoes look. It especially looks good with nice legs.
Only commenting because I like the word tweed. Though it does sound like weed and I've never done weed so not sure why I like the word. The coat looks pretty old actually. I personally like short cut tweet like Chanel jacket style...that's classy tweed. :)
the boot tongues and the cuffed jeans are just genius!

I too love the boots in the first photo and am hoping someone can tell us who makes them!?
Love the look! I'm looking forward to pulling out my tweed, boots, etc, We're still in the 70's in Atlanta, GA...
A-ha! Great black boots on a puddle splashing mission maybe...? - best in a city where, in the not too distant future, salt water puddles will rule the way and the day from tons of the stuff spread about a city's undeserving streets...Tweed, tweed, beautiful tweed! (as sung to the opening strains of the theme to The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie)
Old style shoes, but I like the style and color combination.
Those black boots bring back memories--back in the day in my little horsey circle brand new boots signified a lack of the rider's experience (and they were incredibly uncomfortable!) and so we developed strategies to break them in as quickly as possible. I'll love these boots so much more once they have some miles on them. In the second photo, the rumpled ankle socks with the gorgeous tasseled loafers--!
The second photo is like an advertisement for Fall 2010! What a great shot!! The harmony of the solid colors and the patterns is just perfect...

Neither coat is matched up the center back seam. It really bugs me on the tan and white houndstooth.
those tasseled loafers are gorgeous -- very cool and elegant. can anyone tell me whose they are?
a more relaxed suedehead style, very nice, you can't really go wrong with well tailored brown houndstooth trench and sharp ankle boots or wingtips, the addition of dark denim skinnies really adds something refreshingly unexpected but still true to the classic forms. Also, love that its brown houndstooth and dark denim, black houndstooth wouldn't work as well.
I wish I owned some tweed.

drop by and see my blog. comments make my day!
LOVE the combo in the first photo; love even more that the jeans & boots are being worn old-school New England hockey player style (guys in my high school wore their jeans or Levi's cords semi-tucked into untied Timberlands this way--or the reverse, with the pants tucked into the barrel of the boot but over the tongue ...)
Love the last photo... So sweet and perfect for the weather!
http://cashmereandcandy.blogspot.com
...and it's the shoes that make it! Often the most important touch.
http://maybrady.blogspot.com/
I love tweed in autumn!
Très belles photos.
I love the roughness and smoothness of both fabrics! It looks elegant and casual at the same time - and exactly what this season demands. Thanks,
Istanbulboy
Loafers and socks - reminds me of my boarding school years in Switzerland.
The combination in the first image is so Striking - the boots shine against the blue of the jeans paired with that jacket. I adore the details on the boots, too.
the top ones real cool~ and i love the girl's socks and shoes in the second one!
NICE combination indeed!
love the shoes in the first photo
These photos are fantastic! So rich,so full of inspiration!Good job.
Classic and beautiful!
Nice and preppy! And the black shpes are beautiful!

i love those shoes! adorable!
have a beautiful week! ♥
I like it!
Especially the first photo!
Love it
reminds me of high school late 80's. Buying second hand old man tweed coats and pairing them with Santana jeans (tapered with zippers so you could get your foot through) and Doctor Marten creepers.
Ouch! Those brand new boots looks like they hurt! Did the owner just leave a shoe store with those on his/her feet!? I predict band aids galore!
I love this tweedy mix. I especially love the top photo. Those boots are wonderful.
tweed and denim, that's a perfect combination!!!
love it!!

love tweed...
www.fashionessence-anna.blogspot.com
i love the playful marriage between denim and tweed. too bad tweed aint popular in the Philippines where i am from. haha! (^_^)
love the boots, in the 1st shot, and the gold trainers in the 2nd
It would be fun to have another shot with a denim jacket and tweed pants.
Agree with comments above that the girls' shoes and socks look so good, they draw attention away. She would be deserving of a shot on her own.
cool boots on the first pic
i love these!!!!!
http://sweetlittleconfessions.blogspot.com/
How great is the second picture?? I love her shoe/sock combination...effortless.

www.thetinspoon.blogspot.com
that guy's boots are to DIE for I'm FREAKING out can anyone ID them so that I can go make them mine?
Great mixes--but gee it's frustrating not seeing the full picture.
I prefer the second photo. Really nice wide houndstooth paired with the light creme shoe. His better half has great tassle shoes as well.
Nice boots on the first, but a forced look what with the exaggerated tongue exposure; this cat wants people to look down and admire. Rule of Thumb - don't scream it, whisper...
FANTASTIC boots! Loving tweed and denim in the city as well :)
Mmmmm those black boots are immaculate! And I always love the combo of tweed and denim. So stylish!
http://m-citystyle.blogspot.com/
Tweed is lovely.
i'm really wondering the boots on the first.
Funny finding this here!
Just wore this combination today! I chose to wear my more worn looking boots, definitely a great fall combo for a wisconsin afternoon.
No doubt for the best combination at Fall/Winter.
ahhhhh! the socks! ahhhhhhhh! and those lofers... shes my kind of gal!
...ID on boots? WANT (aka need)!..
I have THE ANSWER FOR THE BOOTS... !!!!
I love the first pic as well, and i just wanted to tell you that the boots are from the Fall CÉLINE's collection !
;-)
sometimes an internship at Céline's press office can help !
YOUR A SAINT FOR POSTING THE NAME OF THE BOOTS
I HATE TO SAY IT BUT
that ain't tweed.
pic 1> checked plaid
pic 2> houndstooth
tweed is flecked. like chanel jackets.
just a textile fyi.
both are beautiful photos though. :)
LOVE it! Especially the preppy girl. Wonder what they look like from the knees and up!
Can anyone ID The Coat of the first pic or tell me a similar one?
greetings
I'm not always a fan of tweed, but it can be done quite well.
http://red-soledfashionista.blogspot.com/
I absolutely need those shoes in the first photo
The coat on the first pic. is by CLOSED. Great classic pattern and a well balanced shape as well.
Yep, yep and yep!
preppy yet very nostalgic~!
LOOOOOOOve it!
lovely mix of navy and brown - toned down luxury!
