love her attitude
Interesting pairing of red and taupe, I love the shape of that skirt. And I wonder what folded up magazine she has been reading! An interesting shot.
I love the bold red on a sober outfit like that: she looks stunning!
Very feminine!!! I love her make-up.
Winner.
This is one helluva photo! Wonderfully spotted. That red blazer is a refreshing pop in the urban setting. Love that light in the upper left corner too.
Just wow!!!
love.love.love. the red blazer. must go find one now.
oh! So chic!
Love the whole look! Wonderful red coat!
And she has a beautiful walk =)

I love her hair!
love the red jacket! sweet heels too..
it's so much about the attitude... If she were slouching along, if she didn't look so much like a human lioness, the outfit might look somewhat outdated, but as it is, she looks fantastic!
Her facial expression is my favourite thing about this photo!

great shot!...I like it!! amazing!
beautiful!
the two faces are so amazing - love it.
As alwys, another great shot.... I love her fashion accessory.... a magazine with what seems to be a vintage cartoon image!
Perfect shot..she exudes confidence.. all of it is just inspiration...thanks....L

Everithing is PERFECT!
The red blazer, her tousled hair, the ladylike pale skirt, but the BEST OF THE BEST!
That Roy Lichtenstein barely seen image on her hand; LOVED IT

Nice shot. Even the way the magazine is shown is perfect!
Wow.. very beautiful. Such a dreamy photo.
that red jacket completely transforms her outfit!

the clutch! the clutch! i love it! without the bag and her hair- this would be so boring.
luv luv luv this color combination with her make up !!
I love the skirt. It looks like a khaki cargo skirt.
Isn't she the girl dressed in black with brown shoes that you photographed a few weeks ago?
She's lovely. beautiful face, great shoes!
Amazing red blazer
A gorgeous, strong and feminine pose.

Gosh ! SHE IS SO BEAUTIFULL ! If I was a boy I would intantly fall in love with her. Her hair is very well arranged, her face is perfect, her red jaket is made for her, even the magazine is great. She looks confident.
Is Savitri her name ? It's my second name too. How strange to see an other europeean person with this name. She must have India lovers parents like me.
Great picture !
http://garymael.illustrateur.org/
Her hair is perfect!
looks like she has some kind of sheer top underneath that jacket i'd love to see it! but she's beautiful, this is a GREAT outfit... love the combination of neutrals and that pop of color. and lets not forget the hair!
Red is my favorite color! I love this jacket! Bright makes any outfit great!!
love it!
Stunning color. Great look and great picture.
Reminds me of another girl you once took a photo of...red coat, tan skirt....black hat/..
her dress is really cool!
http://vicissitudinilombarde.blogspot.com/
I'm pretty sure that I let out a sigh when I first saw this photograph, the neutral clothes and the red jacket...absolutely fantastic, love the hair!

This has a very cool 80's vibe interpreted for now--the wild hair, the bright red jacket, the full swingy shape and length of the skirt.
I love everything on her:from the sandals to her hair including the image of Roy Lichtenstein's picture on her magazine.I like what she wears and how she wears it.
Love the red in this outfit. x
www.FashionSnag.com
I love the red blazer, it pops out of the picture. Worn like this, with the lapels up, it makes it look rather edgy. I also like the skirt, it is a nice taupe and looks great with the red. She is beautiful, very Italian looking. Interesting to see sandals worn with nylons, I'm never sure of this myself. When I wear sandals, it's always with bare feet.
Love her hair, attitude AND clothing.
Just the perfect package...
With Love
Genuinely stylish.
Terrific red and terrific hair. Great look overall but seriously needs to re-think the eyebrows, Italian or not. She can do better than that.
Love the hair and the jacket. Beautiful face. The surprise is the magazine image peaking out from her hand. Their faces hold similarity because of the bright lips and defined eyebrows.
Love the jacket but the sheer stockings are a big fashion no no to me!
gorgeous pop of color
http://sartorialme.blogspot.com
even the light is beautiful here.
i love the volume of the skirt, and wish i could see the jacket open - but it's a great jacket, and a great moment.
http://www.reverbnation.com/alisoncecilejohns
@zenobiar - i think she could even benefit from thicker eyebrows, she has such a strong feminine face that i really feel she could pull it off.
http://www.jerseyfreshfashion.blogspot.com
My hair is crazy like hers in this humidity. I used to fight it but now I let it do its thing. And I love it!
Flora
I can't even get my head around how much I love this. Gorgeous!
She's pretty and all, but I have never liked black hose in the daytime.
Scott'm talking about you on my blog
Love your work.
kiss
Love the red jacket. It's one of my current obsessions actually. Uh oh which reminds me I have to do that post tonight. haha thanks for posting this it helped me remember something.
love the red blazer with the neutral dress

the blazer is awesome
tuxandtie.blogspot.com | twitter.com/tuxandtie
I love the way the arms of the blazer are pushed up- so unstudied! Also, wish we could see what shirt she chose for this outfit...
I love this photo, not only because it captures a lady with tons of elegance, but because she has "more" legs that are normally required as "good" legs..I have larger legs myself, and it's a real dilemma when other parts of one's body do not exactly match! When I was younger I never wore skirts because of that, fortunately the complex is over and she's the perfect example why! <3
I remember her, she's the lady with the raw edged skirt and the beautiful silhouette.
She's carrying those mysterious keys again..
This is another great look, love the jacket, skirt and shoes. And her hair, wow, it's even more stylish now. This look is more polished, but I like both looks very much.
I love the jacket!
I like how the colour of the jacket stands out from the rest.
Ciao Daniela

Shouldn't this be in Vogue?! AMazing.
I'm loving her red blazer, I've been on the hunt for one for months!
Love the colour of the blazer:>
I love the sheer stockings AND the skirt length. It is so feminine.
Beautiful color palette. I just posted snap shots from Cartagena, Columbia - a city painted in tropical hues.
cheers,
JJ Scholl
Love the wild Helena Bonham Carter hair, the edgy-punky eyebrows, the cheekbones, and the distinct but unplaceable retro vibe in the outfit.
Her hair is amazing and she just look so classy. Also I love the contrast of her red blazer and the pop art girl on her magazine...
AAAAHHH RED!!!! Love it.
Just re-examined this and that thick herringbone gold necklace and the way her outfit is an abstraction of the Lichtenstein makes this even more flawless than I first thought.
This style is absolutely breathtaking! The red just pops. This looks more like a scene from a movie. And her hair is so dramatic as well. Beautiful.
http://accidentalnerd.blogspot.com/
The hair and the red jacket make the whole outfit unique. Her attitude is also one of a strong woman that is very confident about her own style and personality.
Really love the fuller skirt she has on here.
She look wonderful, her face is striking.
http://it-stylist.blogspot.com/
http://it-stylist.blogspot.com/
Nice overall balance of colours in the shot. The red jacket is the star. The way she's dressed from the waist down is just blah but it's a great canvas for the jacket.
Yes ok she's got a face and knows which colours suit her... But that outfit is very dull!
The hair, face and jacket (only the colour really though) are great and then it just dies with that dull skirt and those awful tights. The shoes completely dissapear and make no impact at all!
Kudos to her for pulling this off! She looks fantastic. There's something so 80s about every element, including hair and makeup. But I love though.
Exquisite. That blazer is so dazzling. Contrast with the blue in the background is phenomenal.
This is such a lovely outfit and she looks amazing!!!
http://ilikeherclass.blogspot.com/
For me, this shot is all about the magazine. It totally draws the eye through the frame. How cool.
wow, she is sooo gorgeous!
Beautiful! That red blazer looks so great with the khaki dress.

I love her hair, it's so 90s yet modern. I also love how in Milan, there are no rules.
I love that colour red and it stands out amazingly with the light sage/taupe skirt/background.
Perfect. From the shoes, to the stockings, the jacket and the magazine - I love the characters face and how it pops and even seems to match the jacket. Beautiful photography, as always.
The red coat!
LOVE THIS.

Love her eye.
The 80s-vibe in the hair and make-up, and in the vibrancy of the jacket, have always appealed to me; they've always reminded me of the hand-tinted photos of the 20s, somehow. And these fabrics scream quality, if ladylike fabrics scream.
love the shot!

I love this red sooo much! :)
http://www.isthisitmodelsreview.com/
Oh Wow, that is one of the most stunning shots on the blog for a while - lighting, framing, focus, red against blues and greys, flow of movement, the expression.. I could go on. You've excelled yourself Scott, well done! It's what keeps us coming back for more time and again...
goodness, that red blazer is fabulous, loving the retro feel and yet it looks so modern
great shot

Great shot, stylish women.......
Red jacket & the magazine is perfect, she's one chic lady!
perfect shot.
Beautiful Red !!!
I think "perfect" is the most common word in these comments, and I agree. Right down to the ribbon on the keys.
Wow, stunning. She's so beautiful and understated. With a little Lichtenstein in hand no less.
REALLY BEAUTIFUL! I love her style.
kisses from Brazil*

Have you seen her wrist piercing?? I've never saw one there, Interesting..!
This ACTUALLY took my breath away.
That blazer.
Those tights with those shoes.

The perfect stream of light in the corner.
That RED.
I die. I just die.

I love her stance! It makes her look so elegant
On second glance, just realized another reason why I love this photo--she's not carrying a bag! She's actually carrying things in her hands, and her rolled-up sleeves accentuate her no-nonsense puposefulness. What a nice change... so many women seem to lean on "it" bags to give themselves glamour. She, however, generates it on her own.
There's something timeless about what she is wearing! And the composition of the photo is perfect! Is this a real person in a real moment? I ask b/c it makes for a great editorial piece...
Seriously now... There are only two things I like about this picture: her wild hair and the no nonsense attitude on her face. Everything else just bores me.
Was this staged...? Because it's a good picture, Scott.
love this chick is she the same one from the "raw edged" shot? If so she is my new favourite person. Her hair would make any outfit fabuloso. And big thanks to anonymous for pointing out her wrist piercing which just proves this lady is no cliche. She is MAD!! Lucky i'm in australia otherwise i might just stalk her.....

Killer eyebrows and love the comic she's holding...cool chick!
The rolled up magazine!!!! This totally makes the shot extraordinary.
R E D!!! wowza
THis I want to copy! This woman makes me think of a woman you featured a whle back in a red dress and a tan trench coat (I think at an Armani show?). Am I correct?
I think I'm in love
I'm in love with her gibson girl hair.
So perfect with the red blazer, the demure but unfussy skirt, and the classic black sandals--timeless and yet so modern.
Can't stop gushing.
Amazing color palette - neutrals: her skin, the skirt, the street, the building; sharp, saturated complementary colors: the red jacket, her red lips, the red hair and lips of the magazine illustration, her blue(!) nail polish, the blue awnings, the blue eyes of the mag illo, the bluish-green paint on the building doors, the same bluish-green on the car; darks: the shadows behind her, the edges of the signs, the muted black of her legs and sandals.
Her attention, fixed intensely on something out of frame, is a parallel for ours on her. Also, the wrist piercing is bananas!
Fascinating ambiguity with the neckline -- is she wearing a necklace and a top with an extremely low neckline (hence the modest jacket-front clutch), or is the "necklace" actually the visible trim on an apparently almost-transparent top?
I'm just astounded you captured this, because it's so perfectly composed it looks like a setup.
A visual poem. Love.
what a lovely jacket. and with that hair, everything becomes very dramatic.

I love how the cartoon woman on the magazine looks scared and this woman looks totally in control. Wonderful!

oh god. how gorgeous and elegant. and, as if it was all part of a set up, check that pop art wink on the rolled up magazine she holds!
per-fect.
Interesting outfit... but I don't like pantyhose with strappy heels, sorry, I'd either replace them with regular pumps or leave tights at home.
