The yellow and blue in the second shot is unexpected and subtle. Lovely.

The way this man puts everything together is so inspiring. Each detail is thought out and clearly loved; if we all dressed with such care the world would be a better place!

Blogger UESman said ... (9:53 AM) :

Do wish he was showing some cuff...but, eh, who am I kidding, Beppe's so cool he can just pull it off!

This guy looks and dresses almost exactly like my godfather, except he doesn't wear glasses.

I really love his color combos. Especially the yellow with the orange and blue shirt....you can tell he's really working with what is in his closet, not just buying whole looks from a store....what else would you expect from him!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:56 AM) :

Lovely!!! I like this picture so much!!!

Anonymous Barbie said ... (9:57 AM) :

Fantastic how much the overall look changes even with the same suit. The stripes kind of reflect the colours of the other elements, so he makes them look darker or brighter just by changing shirt, tie and accessories. Lovely colour sensibility I think.

Blogger FH said ... (9:57 AM) :

Very Funny :DD

Scott, I remember somewhere you posing the question 'What would Beppe do?'

These images suggest he'd be elegant, shrewd and charming.

Blogger Chia May said ... (10:50 AM) :

wow! so classy and cool...

Blogger Yoli said ... (10:58 AM) :

Oh look at him, he is ADORABLE!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:00 AM) :

Wow, a tattersall shirt with a pinstripe. I love the combination, and the brown tie which matches the pinstripe. I also love the second shot, with a bold shirt and bold stripe, the tie this time matching the shirt. This is less conservative and more powerful as a statement.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:03 AM) :

a great way to show that a good, thoughout interchangable wardrobe of good quality pieces is better than an endless one ;)

For the sake of some humor...OOOOoo Sexy Beast. :) Nice photo.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:37 PM) :

Given the look in his eye and the swagger in his style, I'm guessing he wouldn't dig being called "cute" or "adorable." Dashing, perhaps...

Anonymous The Prestige said ... (2:26 PM) :

I like his ability to make older clothing ideas look modern.

Blogger Unknown said ... (2:26 PM) :

only in Italy do you find such attention to details in so many people, in everyday life. so not LA right? I was looking at my wardrobe and realized how it became more an more casual since i left Paris. gotta get back on tracks. and seeing a photo like this is inspiring. thank you.

Blogger seekhappynightstohappydaze said ... (3:10 PM) :

thoroughly enjoy seeing those wise ones born earlier (elderly is too condescending for this brilliance) express themselves in a seemingly effortless and age defying way. truly inspiring - gives me something to look forward to as my own years appreciate. please check out my blog !

So chic and elegant!

Blogger Paula Elizabeth Fowler said ... (6:16 PM) :

I think I'm in love....with the suit. Exquisite colors, soft hand...why can't that be made into a woman's suit. Quick, somebody get right on that!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:35 PM) :

That suit looks like it's from the 80s. It probably is. Only old dudes can pull off 30 YO suits.

Blogger Unknown said ... (6:37 PM) :

Classic fabolusity! The mix of patterns and colors is a rare & wonderful talent.

Blogger Yve said ... (6:38 PM) :

More men should really start wearing well-tailored suits like this gentleman's more often.
And I think the perfect finish to a man's outfit is always in the details =).

Blogger Annie said ... (10:38 PM) :

It struck me how all the women's comments were flattering. Men take note: it's not age but beauty that turns us women on. Beppe can give many a young one tips on how to win a woman's heart!A man who gives such attention to detail will surely know how to keep us happy!

Blogger B. Inspired. said ... (10:52 PM) :

I love his glowing ears!

Blogger Jazzbuff630 said ... (11:35 PM) :

Blogger Sophia said ... (8:52 AM) :

I love the yellow tie. It is fresh and stylish but not strange for his age like some try.
He is a really cool man somehow. I love how he poses for the camera.

Anonymous Jake said ... (2:48 PM) :

Just great.Love the second look - he sure knows
how to tie a tie .

Blogger Heavycats said ... (5:56 PM) :

a clear example of nonsense of style in the 1st pic hee's got a country checkqured shirt with very elegant stripes jacket,in the second, the dots tie knock at the same with the over dree stripes, for me he dont look at one's in the mirror before going out......

Anonymous Maryanne said ... (10:39 PM) :

yes his style is obvious.
but i like the fact that a person of his generation is comfortable texting!

Blogger Brummagem Joe said ... (9:50 AM) :

Breaks all the rules but he pulls it off. And wearing a small check shirt with a bold chalk stripe works fine. It's one of the most effective counterpoints in men's fashion. The second pic with roughly similar weight suit and shirt stripes is a closer call but the boldness of the tie and those small dots in a geometric pattern makes it all come together.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:43 AM) :

Impeccable. As well as old-man style I think it's time for you to feature another sartorially neglected strata of street life; wino style. Today in London I saw a tall inebriate sporting a magnificent grey flannel chalk stripe double breasted jacket over ideally distressed jeans and a magnificent & authentic pair of vintage shoes. Also vintage were the bottles weighing down his DB jacket pockets to give the whole upper body the most individual drape and swing. Classic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:01 PM) :

his tie knots are so consistent.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:49 AM) :

I agree that wino style would be a good idea to showcase. Elegance is everywhere. Pls feature elegant bums when you get a chance.

Blogger Aimee said ... (12:20 PM) :

love the bold pinstripes and the pocket square!!!

Blogger Andrea said ... (8:02 PM) :

Why can't the gentleman of my generation have this level of class and care. In fact why can't we all pick it up a notch. Especially in country towns! (Especially in rural Australia)

Blogger Robert said ... (12:53 PM) :

I would take any advice that this gentleman would give me. He just screams wisdom and authority.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:37 AM) :

This gentleman is incredible! He got the eyes of an 40 something men.

He doesn't have an age.

xox

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:10 PM) :

His second outfit is my favorite, the color of his tie really pops! I love that it's the equivalent to highlighter yellow, he really stands out in the crowd with such a statement.

Anonymous Beerari said ... (6:13 AM) :

Anonymous engagement ring settings said ... (2:00 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:24 PM) :

Nice man!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:43 PM) :

He is the best. Looks a bit like a professor at Mannheim University, Germany. Aboutbsame age, too.

Anonymous Richard Dru said ... (2:56 AM) :

This guy looks likes he is about to call a contractor to schedule the demolition of several orphanages in order to build a new oil processing refinery, VERY ELEGANT.

Blogger Sunny Side-Up said ... (12:55 PM) :

I'm happy that even though he's aged he still have such a fierce look in his eyes and his style!
