Very suave. I like the navy blue coat.

If it's cold enough to wear a pea coat, it's also cold enough to wear proper socks and turn your cuffs down.
This is such a great shot. I love the light and the balance.
I also noticed the socks, which reminds me, have you managed to locate a retailer in NYC for those mini ones you were looking for?

The top half looks so debonair...but the bottom, not so much.

Roll them cuffs boys. http://itsallstyletome.blogspot.com/2010/10/little-trend-that-could-rolled-up-pant.html
great look.
could use a nice pair of red socks to make it perfect i think.
LOL William has a point. This look is great, but seriously it doesn't make much sense, but then again since when does fashion make sense?
that's what i call style

Navy, camel and classical cuts... Looks great!
Was there a flood in his basement?
The way he wears his socks is just obscene , dont like it at all!
http://robertoderosa.blogspot.com/
I like the peacoat, but I need to find one that looks suave, yet is still affordable.

love his shoes without laces
Well this is a man who likes to hedge his bets there's a piece of clothing for every season here and it just doesn't work it didn't work when we only had a shot of his feet (freaking footies) and its no better full length.
those ankle pants keep coming! i love it
Nice look.Ilike color combination and great shoes.
Agreed on the socks, if a gentleman is going to go the "sockless" route, he need to get a few pairs of these: www.moccsocks.com
loving the turned up pants
i love the way his jacket is sort of hanging on him over his shoulders, very cool

The colors and styles are all mixed up like he grabbed the first thing. The only trace of current look is from his ankles down. Maybe he is in love...?
Not really a fan of the socks peeking out from his shoes!

This is nice! I just got something similar by William Rast on www.totalookshop.com
I wonder if he realizes that no one noticed his marvelous, beautiful, angular, magnificent face because we were looking at his...feet.
I like how he wore the coat.

Good look Mr. Corleone!
Clay Douglass
Love this look, I like the coat with the cuffs and ankles.
***Michelle*** H&M had those sock through summer for men in white and black, I have tonnes. Hope that helps!
sooo nice!
His hair is very 1940's Greaser..I love it!
www.theafeminada.blogspot.com
not good. the no-shoelaces is totally pretentious.
and i think the overtweezed/-waxed? eyebrows look ridiculous.
the coat is awesome. I like it!

I like the coat, but..I don't like to mucht his look..

Very suave! Snappy-looking!
Love that coat!
http://californiacandy.wordpress.com/
his eyebrows!! i love his eyebrows
niceeeeeeeeeee
There are those goddamn footies again. What a suave type, huh? Love the eyebrows. Stop the light from reflecting into his eyes, I bet. I'd love to chase this cat up an olive tree, if you know what I mean.
put a cape on him and he's ready for halloween - as count dracula.
interesting looking man. he'd make me look twice on the street. especially at the shaped brows.
still hate the short pants. a trend that can go away anytime.
footies make sense, though i'm not fond of how they look.
He looks very classic. I would definitely give him a double take! I love the coat and the rolled cuffs.....very 50s-esque.
You take beautiful photos....I love this site. It has given me lots of inspiration for my designs.

CHUCK BASS, is that you!?!??!!

a bit Count Dracula...no?
The over-tweezed eyebrows ruin the whole look.
I can literally star your blog on my google reader all day. Where are you shooting next?
An Outfit For Every Season
If Ed Westwick and Jimmy Fallon had a baby, this guy would be it.
Suave is a good word for this man. He's got the whole look going on.
http://red-soledfashionista.blogspot.com/
I like this look, very casual yet pulled together. Certainly coming on strong for the sockless look. Milano is the fashion capital of the world.
THIZ IZ SOOOOOO THOM BROWNE!!!!!!
love it!! i really like the shoe without a lace...

Very sharp young man.

Oh I love the simplicity and style of the pants. When will boys in Syracuse start wearing them?
Also, I am more interested in the coat than the blue jacket! :)
Although I do agree with your post, I have my own reservations.
As the picture unfolded, from the top down, I was entranced; then the rolled up pants, bare ankles, dark clod hopper shoes and FOOTIES appeared...like having a nightmare you have trouble waking from. NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
hair-cutting original!))
i really like this look

I agree with William Newton.
Put on some bloody socks already!
Really into Navy at the moment. Actually wearing a Navy suit today.

looks okay. . I like the top but for me he can look better if there's still a way to improve his looks=)
Too, too, too many colours. Navy Pea coat and stripes with sport socks and dark shoes. At least some brown brogues with laces please. I understand the reasoning regarding current trends, but Spring/Summer is beginning in the southern hemisphere. It's time to find the transition wear to winter.
Nice coat!
I am all about guys cuffing the bottom of their trousers!

Jimmy Fallon, is that you?
Milano! always cool!
I would love to have that coat. But he's too far away from the philippines. And for sure he won't give it to me. I just want to see you do the photography moment there in New York. Wait for me. lol
FASHION TOY GUN
one should either wear socks or not wear socks, but rule those silly footie things out. they look about as stylish as an athletic knee support and ruin the line of a good pair of shoes.
curios hair......but i dont like too much.....alittlebit:)
even the shot looks great, there's controversy in this look, cuffs up but a blazer and a coat!?
v.v.
http://fashiondoseblog.blogspot.com/
Nice! I always appreciate it when someone doesn't respect "the rules"! Who says you have to wear socks anyway?
Exposed ankles with an overcoat of any kind (and jumper) looks incongruous and not in a good way.
Not just because it's a very close friend of mine but a standard of style...you rock it baby!
very chic
Muy bohemio.
Me encanta el detalle del "no calcetin" con los pantalones pesceros, tenia que ser de Milan
Where did he get those khakis? The ones I find are always so billowy and lame.
i really like navy coats! and his brows!
Where are the men that dress like this where I live? I think it's interesting how he's taken out his shoelaces, or it at least appears that way.
http://www.lapetitemarmoset.blogspot.com
yes!
fashion rules are meant to be broken.
one doesn't need socks.
one doesn't need shoe laces.
one can cuff up their trousers.
you can be well groomed on your way to the office, but still look as though your heart is somewhere on a beach.
You can bring it again and again - these "socks" aren't nice and destroy the whole outfit.
I think he looks like a house painter going to his next job; he had no time to take a shower and had to rush out, so he even forgot to tie his shoe laces. In the rush, he put on his little brother's pants. It's too bad the whole things looks so ugly, becasue there are nice individual elements, such as the peacoat for example.
What's this twee weenie sock look all about?! Put some proper socks on, people! And add some laces while you're at it. Ruins an otherwise fine look.
awesome coat and shoes.
kinda has a count dracula look to him.
http://jimjims.net
The top half and the bottom half, it makes no sense.
You know what it looks like? Without wanting to make fun of him. It looks like he just waded with his feet through a stream and is trying to dry them while walking.
The top half suggests cold weather, the bottom half suggests warm weather.
On the other hand, if people in Milan are doing it, soon people across the world may be doing it..
another dressed with an outfit that knocks with the general aspect, short pants and no socks or short are only good if you go to beach.
I loved the navy blue coat.
In this case, the "footies" showing from the shoes is really nice! Maybe because the volume of the coat balances with it. I never thought I would compliment a guy with footies but he certainly knew how to pull it off.
seriously, i dont mind the ankle socks at all! everyone seems to think otherwise. i believe this man looks quite ritzy.
One day, the no-sock look will be rued and mocked.
To which camp will you belong?

Haha love the shoes... Hopefully it's on purpose.
I love Italian men street style.when ı was in Italy I thought men are way more stylish than women and other people on earth.
http://istanbulfashionaddict.blogspot.com/
Is that Sylar from Heroes?
Not a fan of cropped trousers & shoes with silly socks and a winter pea coat. Navy is such a chic colour ! Love it
y'know in the last or 2nd last Twilight book they go to the Italian city and vampires are closing in from all directions.... I think this is it!
It's Eddie Munster all grown up!
The hair and eyebrows are captivating, the angular face and beautiful layers of navy entrancing, but rolled cuffs belong on a beach with deck shoes, and I can never accustom myself to men in short pants and dress shoes with oddly exposed ankles. Don't do it. Not attractive, no matter how "chic."
NICE
