Comments on "On the Street...Having Fun, But Not On A Vespa!, Milano"
ROBERT!!!! I love him!
That is not a Vespa! I'm sorry, but noblesse oblige...
he even makes the great-gazoo-style yellow helmet look great!
Aha! I love this! So joyful.
love this picture! especially his yellow helmet

Oh you've featured this gentleman before, at least I think so. He is so handsome and so very happy. I love his worn out shoes and no socks with the obviously stylish trench. Great shot!
FIRST
love it! He's well happy sod the clothes.
I love Vespa!!!

I'm a Brazilian journalist. I love your blog. And I loved this photo. What a smile!!!

Alright already - so it's not a Vespa...I wish I had the patience for such a beard. What a helmet too, just missing a little propeller on it maybe?
CeCe got it, it's a Piaggio Liberty from a few years ago, but Scott already said it's NOT a Vespa in the title! Both are made by Piaggio of course.
Love the shot, happiness is two wheel fun! Classy trench sans belt.
Yes, this is Robert - there's a shot of him in the same trench in Scotts book.
How nice to see The Sartorialist featuring some smart fashion. It is refreshing to finally see a helmet in one of these shots! A helmet is sexier than a head injury...
YEZ PEOPLE YOU CAN HAVE FUN WHILE BEING STYLISH AZ WELL!!!!
He is happy, Vespa brings luck, merry picture!!!)))Very nice post!!!
He looks like an extremely fun, nice, warm guy!

I LOVE THIS!! He is so cute.
- a Vintage Vespa rider...
How could you not want to hop on the back?
I need to start growing a beard....
the boat sneakers and rolled up trousers lend an air of laid back California.
proof that a genuine smile is the best accessory which everyone should wear.
Doesn't matter what clothes us... if you have that GENTLY SMILE!!!!
Smile is all we need.
Rolled pants? Beat vans! Bearded? My husbands doppelganger!
scott, are you coming to Buenos Aires? is that true? when? where?
Silvia from Bs As
He's the man! :-)
I would give my whole check to be where he is and doing what he was doing.
co carefree. so liberal. so .....I'm jealous
http://coymisconception.blogspot.com
amazing photo!))
I find this man to be the most interesting man in the world. He looks like fantastic fun to share a drink with!
a big smile with some beard is something that your clothes can't provide. but that adds more character and individuality, and timeless!
Trench coat and motorcycle!!
It is dandy highest and novelty.<33
he's so funny!and he has a great outfit!
I could not possibly agree more with the use of this photo! What charm and lust for life radiates from this man. The sunshine-yellow helmet simply reinforces the love for life and the desire to continue on for years to come.
As somebody who utilizes a longboard as my main method of commuting, I cannot emphasize enough the necessity for a helmet. Go ahead and don your favorite baubles, your finest slacks; embrace your style as you see fit. Above all else, though, embrace your brain. A simple piece that may not easily slip into your daily dressing, a helmet will certainly ensure that you have many more ahead of you.
Three cheers for this man and The Sartorialist for bringing safety to the fashion forefront, intentionally or not!
Great shot! Love it :))
Happy friday!
Nille.xx
He looks so friendly!

Nice look, very cool.
Style décontracté et sourire en plus !
When I first saw the photo, I immediately thought Italy!
There was no doubt in my mind that the charming figure was from the Italian culture:)
Great shot Scott !

I love your blog! Pass from me if you like, I'm new!

he looks fun! love his beard, shoes, trench, and yellow helmet. mostly his smile. great shot. colors fantastic...greys and shots of red/yellow. LOVE it!
Oh men with beards how unresistable! With a smile and a helmet, couldn't be sexier:)
Who in the H - - L cares what kind of motorbike he's riding??????? The photograph and its contents are what we are supposed to be appreciating. We should all be as happy and carefree as this gentlemen is.
This man may have the loveliest face in the world. I gaze at him in happiness when you post him :)
Magnifique!
Real style ain't just about clothes. But classic shoes and a high-dollar raincoat do help carry the message that this dude is not only a gentleman, but a sartorialist as well.
Who makes the trench coat? It is wonderful, especially the holes underneath the arms.
The jacket is a little too Burglar for me.

I want to get this trench coat Could you tell me where I can get it????

Robert :-)
Grande!
I'm wondering where you shot this from and what you said to this handsome man to get that gorgeous grin! I don't think I've ever smiled so broadly (or prettily) in my life.
Its an Aprilia! Even more rockin.
An assembly of beautiful contrasts...
No need for a vespa when you have a hunger for life like this guy!

Ooo! It's a Piaggio Liberty!! I have the exact same bike, but in cherry red! *Bless*
Sadly, Piaggio changed the shape of the body slightly a couple years ago, and it's not nearly so stylish in my opinion...
It's look like new brand of HONDA name :" Scoopy"..I like this mode..Try this

oh, I LOVE this man! He's so handsome and I can feel his good energy. I feel as though he would be a real pleasure to be around. Your pictures always capture him the best.
'Elegant' Italian people have one big issue according to me: "If you have seen one of them.. you have seen them all".
Absolutely not to be compared to the NYC/Paris/London scene..
