Perfect combination!!
crossingredlines
perfect mix...I love it
LOVE HER OUTFIT!
For those who are in love with her shoes (like I am), Church Footwear has a similar kind in their women section. The shoe is called Liverpool W and can be found in black or Teak (leather) and other great suede colors!

That is so incredibly chic, especially with the graphic touch of the animal print and the serious-looking shoes.

SUPERBE! fantastic street style interpretation !!!
I looove her shoes! and I want them! I have them in light brown. Now I realize these monk straps can be unisex...well done, gots to love the french style!
dark blue is my current colour obsession.
does anyone know where those lovely shoes are from?
Love the woolen coat and leggin- like jeans.
http://dolceedamara.blogspot.com/
give me those shoes!! and I always <3 when just a little bit of animal print is poking out somewhere.
Good combination.
i love this look, especially those shoes
http://vernisaongle.blogspot.com
Oh! Yes! The coat ... so nice.
So cleverly put together. Don't know why I was convinced you've shot this in Milan...
Can we talk about her shoes? AMAZING!
http://myperfectt.wordpress.com/
She looks awesome. I love it. I would wear it too.
Such a lovely and laid back look. Dark blue and leopard together remind me of Dries Van Noten F/W 2010. Lovely lovely lovely.
So very chic !!!
Lovely, bordeaux double monk with blue!
She is one cool lady...love it. I actually NEED those shoes. They would complete my a/w wardrobe and instantly update anything. :) tomorrow i will aim to look at least 1/2 as good as this. :)
I don't know what it is...but there is something about this that I don't like!
The coat belongs on someone else.
Pure brilliance!

She's an inspiration..I would wear this everyday. My favourite outfits are those that combine beautiful fabrics wonderfully together. I love the roughness of her coat, with the perfect sweater, the chic leopard print, shiny locket and shiny brown shoes.

cant go wrong with denim and a little bit of PRINT!
www.iamaltamoda.com
What a fantastic outfit. She perfectly balances chic and cool by mixing well-done classics, such as the coat and the shoes, with young and fresh pieces such as the skinny jeans/jeggings and the rolled up cuff. Impressive, and yet effortless...
amazing style
Love the leopard peeking out and the cuffed denim.

Love the contrast ....the blue door in the back , and the best are the leopard details....original and super cool!

Sho-sho-shoes!!
Does anyone know where I can find a coat similar to this one? I absolutely love it!
Love the leopard peeking out. And the shoes are so beautiful.
http://lhabitue.blogspot.com
Scott would I be correct in guessing you've featured her on the blog before. She was wearing the same navy sweater and you wrote about it pointing out it's fit on her. I think the photo was even featured in your book. :) Her hair was cropped very short and she wore round John Lennon-esque shades.
love navy under any circumstances but this is especially beautiful with leopard, another favorite.
she reminds me of the girl with the wonderful men's shoes (which i have been trying to find those shoes since then) last year. yes? maybe it is her? or her long lost sister?
love this outfit. love those shoes (can't wait to find my own!)
-k
She has the Midas touch! This is just golden. How the glasses pick up the collar which contrasts perfectly with the navy sweater at the same time tying in the gold pendant seems seamless to me. Then she wears those shoes! Well Bravo!
Love the way the coat is draped over her shoulders like a cape.
I do not like that the blouse is pulled out (if you want to do that you are to wear a cardigan instead of a sweater) and the "thing" in her hair... but the shoes and the coat are fantastic...
LOVE THE WAY SHE IS STANDING AND THE WHOLE posture
http://donotshoeme.blogspot.com/
Your photo compositions and background color are as brilliant as the subject. The cuff of her jeans blending with the door ...
I love her jeans! with the socks, they really make her legs ten times more interesting.
fashion-rules-dont-exist.blogspot.com
she looks amazing!love the way she is wearing the leo shirt under the sweater:)))
SO PERFECT in every way!
Great shoes ! The unusual match is amazing!!
Really well put together outfit down to the very last detail. She could have gone with a white shirt or a striped shirt, but the leopard takes it from tailored to Old Hollywood Glam (and a swipe of lipstick would take it up to another level still.) Love the shoes, too. She's got big feet and isn't apologizing to anyone for it. Great look.
Except for her stance, she looks quite nice.
very nice shoes!!
duble monk !
Love the total look. The leopard detail is great. Elegant and chic. I love the shoes too :)

This is the 2nd picture you've featured recently with the ox blood leather shoe. Is this a coming trend?
style explosion!
These shoes are delicious!
I wish the socks and cropped pants were a little easier for me to pull off. I think I would be more attracted to this look with a more feminine shoe
Perfection.
perfect fitted jean.. sunglasses compliments the leopard design..-- A well thought out outfit.

What if the hair band were dark?
Zhat would be even more fantastique.
(I think, no?)
Love her classic mixed with the leopard collar shirt.
So do people stand like this normally? Or just to pose?
i love leopard!
Normally i really dislike leopard print but this is really stylish and sophisticated- she looks amazing
i love her shoes too!!

LA MONA SE VISTE DE SEDA
www.lamonasevistedeseda.com
You know, I kind of hate those skinny jeans on people, but they totally look great on her.......
Her whole look seems like uniquely hers - I can't imagine a whole lot of people looking as good in this outfit as she does.
Very sophisticated.
I always dislike leopard print, but I think this has changed my mind. Looks fab with the dark blue.
her shoes!!! :X
It's not just the clothing, but also the stance of the feet and the gesture of the gently curled hands and the sleek shape of the hair that make this a great look.
The awkwardness of the feet do it for me <3

Oh yes -- I can totally imagine her coming out of the woodwork in Saint-Germain, Saint-Sulpice or the Marais.
Great look, great figure.
F..k!!! So chic
i love how she makes leopard very masculine and androgynous .
So chic! Hard to imagine someone in the U.S. wearing this outfit in just this way. Everyone's talking about the shoes and leopard, which are indeed great, but for me what really add to the look are the accessories - the sunglasses and the big pendant. The whole thing is so unexpected but also perfect...
My mum has a leopard shirt exactly like that!!!
(She would never wear those shoes though) :D

Is there any particular name for her shoes? I'd love to get some.
I like the look of cuffed jeans on everyday wear.

soooo perfect!
I love her quirky style!! The glasses really added a cuteness to the outfit and I love the pop of leopard!!

How cool! I have a few leopard pieces also, so I guess I should wear them more often! Also, please cHeck out photos from Paris Fashion Week's homage to the Burka, or something like it http://bit.ly/cAKiY9
Not a fan of the shoes, but wow, that brocade coat!!
red-soledfashionista.blogspot.com
lovely shoes!
Wow, double monks have really jumped the shark! Time to retire mine.
I need these shoes.
GREAT shoes! ususally not fond of flat shoes on women, but these monks are the bomb. Great personal style. Big ups!
http://www.timegeeks.dk
thank you Lainey for the information about church ladies shoes. I thought they were making only men's.
Like we can see here, it's the subtle, small details that make a look. Super stylish, yet so simple. Great shot.

She made chic the leopard print.I don't like the shoes but I love the coat
Wow, she looks fantastic! The whole combination of ink blue with leopard I wouldn't have thought of specifically, but it looks brilliant. And yes...as many have said the shoes are amazing!
Great photograph of bad taste in clothes.
LOVE IT!!!! Just love it!
this photo is brilliant

Is there any particular name for her shoes, or is there a place I could buy them? I'd love to get some!
amazing combination :)
amazing combination, love her coat and shoes :)
I rather liked this until I got to the comment "Great photograph of bad taste in clothes." It's got me thinking. The rolled up jeans so skin tight, the leopard shirt sticking out of the pullover, the big gold pendant, each one of these could be considered bad taste. And yet... This is what style is.
I am dying to know who makes that coat??? anyone know?
think id like this with heels, another printed shirt and tiny necklace ... great pic.
What kind of jeans love them need them!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pattee in Boston. Great eye!!!!!!! Adore you :) would love to be friends with a person like you!!!!!!!!!
LOVE IT! outfit perfection :) Everything about it - the leopard print matching the tortoise shell glasses, offset by the navy blue and gold jewelry (not to mention the perfect sillouette!)
http://obsidianlullaby.blogspot.com/
i love the complete outfit! its perfect!
yes to the monocromatic outfit punched up with leopard.
no to the mannish shoes.
Love the look! Accessorize with jewelry from www.bijouxwow.com.
She is really working the double strap monks
gorgeous.....
Thank you so much! This is one of my favorite looks that you have posted in a long time--I never would have thought of leopard and blue. Will incorporate all of this save the skinny jeans...
That look is simply amazing.

So beautiful!
I loooove the Ichabod Crane look. Beautiful!
Great combo, and the brilliant blue of the door complements the look ever so nicely.
Very chic!
I'd love to buy that coat!!!!!Perfect colour
Nice blog.
That's called a beautiful matching!!!
Wow, it would never have occurred to me to pair leopard print with blue, automatically have gone for black, but this looks so chic! I am copying this look tomorrow!!!
Love gold jewelry and navy! The leopard is an unexpected detail!
