Anonymous Maryanne said ... (10:00 AM) :

but..the bra strap ruins the line of the armhole and curve of her shoulder, making the dress appear more lingerie like.
while this creates an interesting photo, it distracts from the fashion aspect of it.

But the dress, I don't know! The very first picture in my mind is of a nightie!

Though I wouln't pair those shoes with that lovely dress I think I get the point of it ;)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:39 AM) :

She looks like she went out to get the paper and put on the first shoes she could quickly slip on...I mean she is a beautiful young girl, but really...? Is that the only criteria?

Blogger SabinePsynopsis said ... (11:40 AM) :

Vintage? I love how she paired it with the manly woven shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:07 PM) :

damn--feel like my mother but it would be even lovelier if it didn't look like she picked it up off her floor before she put it on. A little steaming and a creamy-colored bra strap would have turned it into a stunning look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:14 PM) :

it`s not the dress or the shoes (nevertheless they are beautiful), it`s the moment in time you stole from her.

Blogger luciano said ... (12:35 PM) :

How complementary is the word elegant and Italian, there is not one without the other. The dress is gorgeous and im guessing that she jumped off of that vespa. Beautiful colors surrounding her enhance the photo also. Nice shot.

The scooter is a Vespa GTS (it's a guy thing to know), one of the 2010 line of new Vespas for Europe and the US. Just don't call it a motorcyle ok?!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:09 PM) :

This look is so blah. This i-just-rolled-out-of-bed look is way to literal here.Lol! This dress could be pulled off nicely with accessories, or heels, or anything to make it look a little more put together and purposeful

Is it really still warm enough in Milan to wear dresses like that? (A very nice dress it is too) but in the UK it is FREEZING!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:28 PM) :

It's a Tracy Reese dress. I actually own it myself. It is normally chinched at the waist with a matching belt, which makes it less nightgown-esque. I actually wore it to my senior prom.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:35 PM) :

so nice to see someone looking at a book instead of their phone! so many of your pictures are of people on their phones, it's a bit sad because you think they'd be looking around them at the beautiful scenery you shoot them in!

I really hope that scooter is hers, it's beautiful, especially with the brown leather detail.
I love that she's reading from her notebook, her hair, the drape of her dress, her lovely little ring - her shoes are adorable.
I didn't notice the bra-straps, but for me they ground the photo.
