Oooooh. The bare face and slouchy gray t-shirt with something so unusual...
She's like a story-book character. Like she's come from a wooded world and has adopted our ways and clothes...but the feathers are PART of her. Growing out of her hair...

I've gone mad. I need a coffee.

Blogger Jo said ... (4:21 PM) :

Oo, scary...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:33 PM) :

Now this is what I call beautiful. ('I' being an admittedly similarly featured Irish girl.) What a girl. What feathers! She does look Irish (not just the pale skin/dark hair/pale eyes/freckles - the look in her eyes!). I only discovered myself recently that pale greys and creams like this can be beautiful against this skin tone. You're always told to wear bright colours when you're this pale and often that just washes you out. Everything is working in harmony here.

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:37 PM) :

Blogger Ami said ... (5:34 PM) :

It's almost like an old silverpoint photograph of a ballerina in an early production of Swan Lake, or even an older ballet from the Romantic Era, like La Sylphide. She's like a modern Marie Taglioni walking down the street, mostly human, yet partly ethereal, ephemeral sylph. Or the look in her eyes is a little intense, like a siren, luring you in, but beautifully. I want feathers, now.

Blogger Hilary said ... (5:38 PM) :
