Anonymous jdit said ... (6:57 PM) :

Black and white, wet pavement, smooth, cool and like good jazz. The texture of his skin seems almost like that of his coat, pants and hat. Not leathery but just as smooth as the jazz he makes just standing at the side of the street.

Cool man - New Jazz Cool...

I can diggit!

This picture alone makes me want to write a sci-fi script. He looks to me like a time traveler on a mission...very intriguing. Using black & white was genius. Love the blurred silhouette of the trees.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:30 AM) :

There's something almost otherworldly about the proportions & textures here... fascinating and beautiful.

And yes, Timberlands are a member of the holy trinity of footwear--Fryes and old-school Red Wings, of course, being the other two.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:44 AM) :

Nice timberlands!

Blogger Barbara said ... (5:18 AM) :

Hey! This is very close to my Paris stomping ground - I'm often in this vicinity........ He is beautiful and sculptural, if a little caricaturish with his skinny legs and desert boots. I would certainly turn to take a second look at him on the street. Great photo.

Anonymous Dana said ... (6:32 AM) :

Weird mix. Cool looking fellow but not crazy about the boots with the leather pants and jacket...odd.

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:22 AM) :

This is a very popular silhouette in my city atm too. As are the boots a popular shoe.
His expression is what makes this image so unique, imo. And so beautiful.

Blogger Katherine said ... (7:53 AM) :

I love how different this is! This guy exudes confidence.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:13 AM) :

...Can someone change his boots!
Please!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:23 AM) :

wow! no more words! wow

i love the hat and the shoes. but most of all man himself

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:25 AM) :

I don't care about this from a style point of view. The image is amazing. That face, like a cut out. It has a kind of power that's remarkable. The boots diminish that somewhat, perhaps. But a wonderful face, and the depth of field accentuates that beautifully.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:44 AM) :

I don't like it. I don't like guys with such a thin legs, it looks weird..... He looks sick.

He is like some kind of higher being: his intelligence and playfulness shine through, and he is almost astonishingly beautiful. Wonderful capture.

Blogger Mark Harris said ... (4:06 PM) :

What's everyone going on about the boots for? Timberlands...wow. It looks aweful

Anonymous elxoxodemiprima said ... (4:36 PM) :

personally I detest those kind of boots. besides they look imitation of Timberlands, not the original ones.
Love his face and the hat though

The shoes are a pleasant surprise (:

Anonymous Robert Voltaire said ... (11:39 PM) :

Those boots look pretty innocent on him but when i was growing up i always thought of them as murderer boots. Don't get me wrong the picture is fierce I love the toning style and composition. It just reminds me of the shoes someone would kill in.

I don't get all the hatred for the boots, I think they look great! I love the contrast between fashion and street style...just so good!

Blogger ms. hershey said ... (4:07 PM) :

his skin is like velvet... he's beautiful.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:33 PM) :

This man's legs are so skinny, and the way he's looking over his shoulder and the way his jacket is hanging right now so it sort of looks like a tailcoat makes him look (to me) like Jiminy Cricket. Which is AWESOME!

Blogger Lisa said ... (8:11 PM) :

Great Choice with the B&W photo. His skin glows beautifully! I kinda like the boots - an unexpected pop!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:08 AM) :
