I adore the baggy white t shirt look. Casual cool. Girl is beautiful.

It's actually the pants that are spot on in this photo, she looks very comfortable and very chic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:59 AM) :

I wonder how the look is with the jacket she's holding

Blogger Michelle Bobb-Parris said ... (9:00 AM) :

I'm glad that you highlighted that. I regularly pair a slouchy Alexander Want-type of tee shirt with structured or more formal bottoms as well, or with a suit to give a less stuffy feel to an otherwise conservative look.

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (9:05 AM) :

Ha, I love that you think this is oversized. I just see it as non-fitted-tight.

What I notice is the proportion of the trousers. They are a little more oversized to me. A little Katherine Hepburn. Very nice.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:09 AM) :

Beautiful! So laid back and simple! I want to go to Milan...

Great style with the wide Marlene pants and this super basic essential tee. later, FashionLifeCoach

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:56 AM) :

Pants are too long. The hems will drag and tear and be ruined soon.

Great pants, but I love the glasses. It really ups her chic quotient.

Blogger davidikus said ... (11:41 AM) :

It is the trousers I find arresting. The teeshirt works but not so well: probably because of the dodgy shoulder line...

that is such an amazingly fabulous chic look! i love it

Blogger Unknown said ... (12:22 PM) :

Now THAT is how to rock a pair of trousers! I would never think to combine wide legs pants with an oversized tee but here it is perfection. How does she do it without looking oversized herself? It's probably down to the Italian genes and those fierce platforms I spy peeping from under those high-waisted beauties. Either way I'm both impressed and ever-so-slightly envious. X

Blogger Monsieur Boivin said ... (12:41 PM) :

Very nice pants. Wish I was there too...

Blogger israel said ... (12:42 PM) :

I think the oversize does not favor anyone, if it is, fashion is very comprehensive but a beautiful woman does not need large sizes when sulla is small, you can play around with the concept, but not flattering www.nouveauclassique.blogspot.com

Blogger Shevah said ... (12:46 PM) :

Ah, I love this look. So simple and so chic.

Blogger Kathleen said ... (12:54 PM) :

Cute, but I'm not exactly thrilled here. Her pants are too big, as in really too big. They need to be hemmed and brought in through the buttock region. Too bad for they are truly lovely. Not so thrilled about the top either, would have liked to see a crisp and cleaner looking "real t-shirt", maybe out of silk or pima cotton. She looks relaxed and I love her look, just a tad too sloppy. Love her sunglasses and the jacket looks fantastic, like the other reader I would have loved to see it on her.

Blogger KC said ... (12:58 PM) :

i can't believe she pulled that look off.

Anonymous Ulla-Marie said ... (2:51 PM) :

... but only if you're skinny.(?)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:54 PM) :

When I first saw this, I loved it. Then I looked at the D&G show that you posted, and I loved that... more. I love clothes that fit tight to the body, even though that means that I have to diet occasionally.

Anonymous Lusty Lynn said ... (3:35 PM) :

love the baggy fashion, you can get away with the few extra pounds put on over the summer hols. Stunning photo

Blogger Grace Escudero - The Afeminada said ... (4:22 PM) :

Oversized clothes are interesting to me, but I'm very small, so it's a little difficult to pull off without seeming like I'm drowning in my clothes.

Ravissante!

Blogger Maria Ana said ... (4:50 PM) :

That is style!

Blogger Lorelei said ... (6:06 PM) :

I think my favourite part about those pants is the waistline: the thickness of it provides some subtle structure that compliments the breeziness of the leg so well. Love it!

Anonymous Best of Beehive said ... (6:06 PM) :

Those are some fantastic pants. Is that gold metal piece hanging down a belt? I hope so, because it would look fantastic.

Blogger The Clothes You Wear said ... (6:26 PM) :

I am very into this style at the moment. Great picture!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:45 PM) :

love the vertical stripe in the pants, they look like they'd be great to wear and look fantastic also

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:04 PM) :

Not to mention a loose-fitting pant!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:45 PM) :

Those shoes are to die for!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:45 AM) :

Fantabulous! Nothing precious here--she's somehow like a modern Rosalind Russell or Myrna Loy. Love the fit of the pants, esp. the length; they'll look even better when the back hems get roughed up a bit from being stepped on. The shirt's great, too; it's loose but not billowy and seems to be a real t-shirt (as opposed to something made from a "fashion" fabric forced into t-shirt shape), so it drapes naturally.

Anonymous Purses Pastries Etc... said ... (4:30 AM) :

Beautiful, effortless look and photo! Very inspiring :)

Blogger lifelongusa said ... (6:40 AM) :

Blogger Allen - East Hampton said ... (11:36 AM) :

love this.

Blogger She Wore It Well said ... (11:56 PM) :

i couldnt agree more. a white t shirt makes any outfit work!

Blogger Liz S said ... (1:13 AM) :

Oh, I think the pants are more oversized than the T shirt--having said that they both work beautifully together.
And the lady's arms are perfectly toned and shaped to pop out of that tee.

Anonymous Maryanne said ... (8:20 AM) :

those trousers will engulf anyone not of model height.
this woman seems a bit lost in those trousers.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:00 AM) :

relaxed elegance. love it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:47 AM) :

Is this oversized for you? :-O

Annie.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:34 PM) :
