Comments on "At Michael Kors"
Wow. I love the bathing suit with the belt!
http://www.davidlamonline.com
Fitttttt! Girl in brown swimsuit looks amazing. Nice to see boobs on the catwalk looking so resplendent!
Michael Kors is truly the King of American Sportswear! That last dress is GORGEOUS. Not to mention the sandals she's wearing. And the ease of the first look is something I want to get into right now!
Yes is the only word here!
It's very simple, I like this !

in love with the nude color palette!
I have been a long time fan of Michael Kors .. these are just perfection !
That dress ! I am in love ~
I can't find the banana..
Very easy collection...but I prefer Italian creativity
http://verychiclist.blogspot.com/
The cut is realized. The texture is contrasting. The pieces are allowed to speak for themselves.
love the texture in the dress and sweater
Indeed!
ahh, the power of the large jumper
Lovely. ~
I LOVE THIS!! Texture, interesting fabrics, great knits, flattering silhouettes and a clear way to translate the runway to off-the-rack pieces and real people. I love the sandals in the bottom picture, the over-sized bag and most of the clothing. Compare this to the Prada collection below. I know which I'd rather be wearing.
My only beef is the socks with leather platform sandals. Please leave that look to the Germans. They're comfortable with it. The rest of us...not so much.
So fresh, so clean, so relaxed.

The last dress is great !
love the last look very much!
absolutely the fantastic collection!!!
check out my new post at http://thetalesofselfindulgence.blogspot.com
All but the one in the swimsuit look like skeletons... Makes me sad.
Love the boobs, so nice to see some variation of body types on the runway, also the all white look = fantastic!
LOVE LOVE LOVED this collection!! One of the best from NYC!!

I love Michael Kors..the dress is perfect.

not my favourite colours
the white on white is what..i'm coveting..its a great look!!!!!
At it's finest? I think that word means something different. Kors has been presenting this style of clothing for so long, it's almost classic but it lacks something, who knows but one thing is sure, if he is king of american sportsware, it's a rather impoverished kingdom.
Looks like neutral shades are continuting through SS11 too - love it! My fave is the rugged look taupe light-knit sweater, I could happily live in that all year round!
The swimsuit is gorgeous, though I don't think anyone would actually "dive in" with the belt on, LOL! Wrap a complimentary-colored sarong around the waist and it could also be a chic dress. Beautiful!
I love that bathing suit! It is gorgeous and the stand out piece. x

how awesome!!
i wonder how does it feel sitting at the front-row of a prestigious fashion show.

Love the second look, the grungy feel is gorgeous.

Last photo great! Beige dress is very stylish. The whole image of a combination of beige knitted sweaters and dress looks very nice!
the last dress is great.I like it the most.
simple yet beautiful. my favorite kind! =)
Absolutely beautiful... all of it.
I posted a gray dress from this collection that I'm absolutely in love with, also LOVE the white turtleneck number, go MK!
The man is a genius.
The second and last photo are absolutely amazing! I adore it!

This man is amazing.. I get fooled by his public persona, but at heart, he-- or whoever he has working for him-- really understands the American persona. The first look is so beautiful and SO relaxed: everything is "covered" but you can still see the beauty and the motion of the body underneath. So sexy, so timeless. Warm, healthy skins, beautiful yet neutral colors, sportswear with motion and purpose... Love!!!
Love EVERYTHING but the belted bathing suit. Who the hell is gonna play in the surf wearing a 3" wide, double pronged leather belt? NOT ME! But I'd totally rock that first white ensemble.
Very beautiful!!!
Thank you!
http://imagenmaspersonal.blogspot.com
great looks.
really simple and easy on the eye.
http://jimjims.net
Not really a Kors fan, but the second look captures a moment/feeling perfectly--the combination of sweater, earthy tones, bare legs, and heavy socks & shoes is absolutely right for that very-end-of-summer moment. Nicely done.
'Proper!' as we exclaim in appreciation in London
those knitted cardigans are out of this worlddd!!

Love the first ensemble. He tames the gaudy aspects of sportswear.
Wow wow wow! Love it all, especially first outfit. So simple yet so strong.
Obsessed with the first look. Effortless yet impeccably clean and polished.
Omg I love all of it!
If intrested check out my twilight inspired fashion blog!

that man is frickin brilliant
Great pictures, belt with the bathing suit look so pritty.
I think I'd wear that first sweater with a bra.
great colours' choice and textures too!

:)
agreed. that brown swimsuit outfit should be worn by American women everywhere.
looooove the shoes! want the tan sweater too!!
I think I whimpered out loud when I saw the first image. I want it all, but I'll die if I don't get those sandals in the last image. Sigh.
Except for perhaps the last outfit, what a boring collection...
I like the second outfit, apart from the hat.
michael kors is a genuis. i love the colors, the design and the beauty of his work.
www.greeneggsandglam.blogspot.com
as always with Michael Kors, love the shoes...
http://annaofgreengables.blogspot.com/
Ohhh how I love the simplicity and the chic-ness. Also love the eartch color palette. Awesomeness! xxx
http://cestlamademoiselle.blogspot.com
absolutely LOVE that last look... the dress and those sandals! I just bought a new Michael Kors watch today... tortoise shell band and a huge face. it's so classic... I just love his design
I am distracted by the second model's disturbingly emaciated leg. Looks like it might break in half at any moment. Toothpicks are NOT sexy!
Now the girl in the swimsuit? THAT is simple beauty!
Love love love these outfits
I love Michael Kors, but this collection just doesn't work for me. It's very much his style, but I miss the structured sophistication of his previous collections. This collection is too relaxed.
http://red-soledfashionista.blogspot.com/
I loved his whole collection. Beautiful.
clean, clear, beautiful!
Sportswear never looked so chic! :)
Follow my blog at http://fortheloveoffashionandotherthings.blogspot.com
great collection!very simple, chic!
Have a Fabulous day!

Love the nude textured dress with cardigan and fantastic sandals.
I love the minimalist look!
www.styleisalwaysfashionable.blogspot.com
B-o-r-i-n-g. Uninspired clothes, horrendous platforms (when will they go out of fashion?). Only interesting piece: the sandals in the last pic.
I love them all--I like the feeling they give of being earthed. The only feature I have trouble understanding is the belt with the swimmers. The 80s had this look appear often--it used to pop up with gym gear also.
The last dress is amzing ! Love summer's collections :)

see, the thing is, the mk stuff is the stuff you will wear and wear and wear. someone in the comments posted that it is lacking something...i disagree. I feel like every woman can wear mk, and yet every woman wears him differently. not just by accesories, although his clothing lays a beautiful foundation for accesories, but also because a woman's individuality gets to shine through the clothing. The clothing fits her life, she does not conform herself to the clothing. It is no mean feat to design such things...and he does this at some great price points, too!
The best looks yet I've seen from the cat walks...beautiful, wearable clothes! These are designs a woman wears/ not designs that wear the woman. Very, very nice.
Love this show adn how the clothes are worked!!
http://fashiondoesntexist.blogspot.com/
i've always held wrinkled white fabric in high esteem, so the 4th ensemble is my favorite. but all of them, *wow*, kors has got my attention.
such great photos. i absolutely adore this collection!
http://www.informalthing.blogspot.com
Yes I could knit that last cardy! Love how it giants the shapely frock. With those sandals that is a great look that many of us could aspire to.
i hate to say this, but this collection is sort of done and sloppy, no? i guess its not my style.
I didn't see much effort put into this collection. I don't get why everyone is saying it is perfect or it is excellent. You all can disagree with me, but that is my opinion. This collection is lacking so much creativity, I think Kors put this boring collection out simply because he can and will still have people drooling over it. I don't see the need for wrinkled shirts and boring bathing suits. If you really look closely in that bathing suit - without the belt, it will just be a plain boring bathing suit.
boring~~
its hard to see the clothes for the thinness of these girls. Their frame really destracts and worries me. That lone swimsuit model looks amazing and makes the clothes look amazing. maybe she's smiling because she can eat and still work.
I love the last picture:a dress to wear and to caress like a sculpture.
great simplicity! He really does it so well!
This dress looks like tripe! Quite amazing. I really love the texture and the way it fits.
loving the monochrome!
perfect colors
www.dilamoda.com
Oh Mr. Kors, you are the best. All of these shots are incredible, all designs are too. But the first, all white and the brown bathing suit made me cry with their beauty.
That swimsuit is worthy of a Bond Girl!
you just gave me an idea of what to wear tommrow
Ah, now here is a collection many body types could wear. Kudos for recognizing this.
M.K.is allways gorgeous, contemporary, fresh, young, and so REAL!,in such a low-keysh and sensitive way...that is his sheer MAGIC!.
That first look could not be more perfect.
The last dress...that is so ME!
I love, love, love Michael Kors. If I had the money, I would wear his clothes, shoes, handbags, and sunglasses every single day. I would wear that first outfit in a NY minute.
although mr. kors presents the epitome of american dressing, the first and fourth look remind me of agnès b. in the mid to late 80's ... oh how i loved everything she did.
All but the last look are pretty boring...especially the white cashmere sweater with no bra! Makes her boobs look terrible, that's a fashion crime! Even for preppy sportswear, Kors has never thrilled me--it all looks like Old Navy to me.
perfect colors
http://www.desisuit.com
Nice clothes, but I don't want to see someone's nipples. No one I know would wear it like that in public.
It all just feels a little bit banana republic to me...
They are all b-e-a-u-tiful. All white look + the swimsuit = my favourites.
Its like the left over from the previous designs to me .........
Valeu Brasil!!!!! Muito bem representado!!!!
Interesting blog post and great sharing. Some things in here I have never thought about before, I would like to take this moment to say that I really love your blog. It has been an excellent resource of information for me. Thank you so much!
