Fitttttt! Girl in brown swimsuit looks amazing. Nice to see boobs on the catwalk looking so resplendent!

Anonymous The Photodiarist said ... (9:13 AM) :

Michael Kors is truly the King of American Sportswear! That last dress is GORGEOUS. Not to mention the sandals she's wearing. And the ease of the first look is something I want to get into right now!

Yes is the only word here!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:55 AM) :

The cut is realized. The texture is contrasting. The pieces are allowed to speak for themselves.

Anonymous Katharine said ... (9:57 AM) :

love the texture in the dress and sweater

Indeed!

Lovely. ~

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:09 AM) :

I LOVE THIS!! Texture, interesting fabrics, great knits, flattering silhouettes and a clear way to translate the runway to off-the-rack pieces and real people. I love the sandals in the bottom picture, the over-sized bag and most of the clothing. Compare this to the Prada collection below. I know which I'd rather be wearing.

My only beef is the socks with leather platform sandals. Please leave that look to the Germans. They're comfortable with it. The rest of us...not so much.

Blogger Renee Nabam said ... (11:11 AM) :

the white on white is what..i'm coveting..its a great look!!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:12 AM) :

At it's finest? I think that word means something different. Kors has been presenting this style of clothing for so long, it's almost classic but it lacks something, who knows but one thing is sure, if he is king of american sportsware, it's a rather impoverished kingdom.

Anonymous Hayley said ... (11:33 AM) :

Looks like neutral shades are continuting through SS11 too - love it! My fave is the rugged look taupe light-knit sweater, I could happily live in that all year round!

Anonymous Image Consultant said ... (12:09 PM) :

The swimsuit is gorgeous, though I don't think anyone would actually "dive in" with the belt on, LOL! Wrap a complimentary-colored sarong around the waist and it could also be a chic dress. Beautiful!

Blogger FASHION SNAG said ... (12:20 PM) :

I love that bathing suit! It is gorgeous and the stand out piece. x

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:32 PM) :

This man is amazing.. I get fooled by his public persona, but at heart, he-- or whoever he has working for him-- really understands the American persona. The first look is so beautiful and SO relaxed: everything is "covered" but you can still see the beauty and the motion of the body underneath. So sexy, so timeless. Warm, healthy skins, beautiful yet neutral colors, sportswear with motion and purpose... Love!!!

Anonymous Frau Hoffner said ... (3:09 PM) :

Love EVERYTHING but the belted bathing suit. Who the hell is gonna play in the surf wearing a 3" wide, double pronged leather belt? NOT ME! But I'd totally rock that first white ensemble.

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:25 PM) :

Very beautiful!!!
Thank you!

great looks.

really simple and easy on the eye.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:34 PM) :

Not really a Kors fan, but the second look captures a moment/feeling perfectly--the combination of sweater, earthy tones, bare legs, and heavy socks & shoes is absolutely right for that very-end-of-summer moment. Nicely done.

Anonymous paule said ... (6:00 PM) :

Blogger A said ... (6:33 PM) :

I think I whimpered out loud when I saw the first image. I want it all, but I'll die if I don't get those sandals in the last image. Sigh.

Anonymous Larissa said ... (7:39 PM) :

absolutely LOVE that last look... the dress and those sandals! I just bought a new Michael Kors watch today... tortoise shell band and a huge face. it's so classic... I just love his design

Anonymous The Spovangelist said ... (11:06 PM) :

I am distracted by the second model's disturbingly emaciated leg. Looks like it might break in half at any moment. Toothpicks are NOT sexy!

Now the girl in the swimsuit? THAT is simple beauty!

Anonymous Alice said ... (1:00 AM) :

Love love love these outfits

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:58 AM) :

I love Michael Kors, but this collection just doesn't work for me. It's very much his style, but I miss the structured sophistication of his previous collections. This collection is too relaxed.

B-o-r-i-n-g. Uninspired clothes, horrendous platforms (when will they go out of fashion?). Only interesting piece: the sandals in the last pic.

Blogger Liz S said ... (9:00 AM) :

I love them all--I like the feeling they give of being earthed. The only feature I have trouble understanding is the belt with the swimmers. The 80s had this look appear often--it used to pop up with gym gear also.

Blogger Noumia's papers said ... (9:09 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:39 AM) :

see, the thing is, the mk stuff is the stuff you will wear and wear and wear. someone in the comments posted that it is lacking something...i disagree. I feel like every woman can wear mk, and yet every woman wears him differently. not just by accesories, although his clothing lays a beautiful foundation for accesories, but also because a woman's individuality gets to shine through the clothing. The clothing fits her life, she does not conform herself to the clothing. It is no mean feat to design such things...and he does this at some great price points, too!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:01 PM) :

The best looks yet I've seen from the cat walks...beautiful, wearable clothes! These are designs a woman wears/ not designs that wear the woman. Very, very nice.

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:33 PM) :

Love this show adn how the clothes are worked!!

Anonymous Style Odyssey said ... (7:05 PM) :

i've always held wrinkled white fabric in high esteem, so the 4th ensemble is my favorite. but all of them, *wow*, kors has got my attention.

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:20 PM) :

such great photos. i absolutely adore this collection!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:13 PM) :

Yes I could knit that last cardy! Love how it giants the shapely frock. With those sandals that is a great look that many of us could aspire to.

Blogger thelayeredpancake said ... (9:39 PM) :

i hate to say this, but this collection is sort of done and sloppy, no? i guess its not my style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:45 PM) :

I didn't see much effort put into this collection. I don't get why everyone is saying it is perfect or it is excellent. You all can disagree with me, but that is my opinion. This collection is lacking so much creativity, I think Kors put this boring collection out simply because he can and will still have people drooling over it. I don't see the need for wrinkled shirts and boring bathing suits. If you really look closely in that bathing suit - without the belt, it will just be a plain boring bathing suit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:05 PM) :

boring~~

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:43 AM) :

its hard to see the clothes for the thinness of these girls. Their frame really destracts and worries me. That lone swimsuit model looks amazing and makes the clothes look amazing. maybe she's smiling because she can eat and still work.

Anonymous proletarian Great Gatsby said ... (7:07 AM) :

I love the last picture:a dress to wear and to caress like a sculpture.

Anonymous Joanna Roman said ... (7:12 AM) :

great simplicity! He really does it so well!

Blogger Kathleen said ... (10:21 AM) :

Oh Mr. Kors, you are the best. All of these shots are incredible, all designs are too. But the first, all white and the brown bathing suit made me cry with their beauty.

Blogger Juan Manuel Trejo Sánchez said ... (11:00 AM) :

That swimsuit is worthy of a Bond Girl!

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:19 AM) :

you just gave me an idea of what to wear tommrow

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:27 AM) :

Ah, now here is a collection many body types could wear. Kudos for recognizing this.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:39 PM) :

M.K.is allways gorgeous, contemporary, fresh, young, and so REAL!,in such a low-keysh and sensitive way...that is his sheer MAGIC!.

Blogger Jessie-Lee said ... (1:50 PM) :

That first look could not be more perfect.

Anonymous Funkidivagirl said ... (9:42 PM) :

The last dress...that is so ME!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:56 PM) :

I love, love, love Michael Kors. If I had the money, I would wear his clothes, shoes, handbags, and sunglasses every single day. I would wear that first outfit in a NY minute.

Blogger j said ... (8:51 PM) :

although mr. kors presents the epitome of american dressing, the first and fourth look remind me of agnès b. in the mid to late 80's ... oh how i loved everything she did.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:49 AM) :

All but the last look are pretty boring...especially the white cashmere sweater with no bra! Makes her boobs look terrible, that's a fashion crime! Even for preppy sportswear, Kors has never thrilled me--it all looks like Old Navy to me.

Anonymous desisuit said ... (3:59 AM) :

perfect colors

Anonymous Sarah O said ... (11:57 AM) :

Nice clothes, but I don't want to see someone's nipples. No one I know would wear it like that in public.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:03 PM) :

It all just feels a little bit banana republic to me...

Anonymous Bella Cowley said ... (6:11 AM) :

They are all b-e-a-u-tiful. All white look + the swimsuit = my favourites.
