I like to see how Gucci made a catwalk look with this macramè dress.
This type of textile made knotting the thread is usually seen here in Italy as a decoration on old shawls and fine linen towels

My initial response is "tribal meets the roaring 20's". It might work for Josephine Baker, but for most girls it's a thumbs down.

Blogger Dhabboo said ... (12:45 PM) :

boring monochromes..where's the Colour palette?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:46 PM) :

Outrageous Italian flair (top) and the power of ancient Rome embodied (bottom).

What is it about Italian flair that makes it so... fantastico.

The primal Gucci colors.

Wouldn't want it any other way.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:44 PM) :

70's fringe meets Cleopatra is what I would call it. I don't know if I like it. I think I have to see it some more with the rest of the collection to decide.

Anonymous jimjims said ... (2:44 PM) :

intriguing.

definitely off the beaten track.
