At Dolce & Gabbana

From this entire season, this is the look I most want to buy for Garance. Simple Southern Italian sensuality is so seductive and Dolce & Gabanna own that look.
Ok, and maybe this look too.

Would I say too sexy?

No such thing as too sexy.

Blogger 82Brute said ... (1:49 PM) :

Yes! Dignity, Fortitude, Grace and Femininity all rolled into a classic and beautiful line of clothing. Fifty years from now, these designs will continue to elicit pangs of desire. (We'll ignore the apparent wardrobe malfunction that is occurring in the crotchal region of the second look.)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:08 PM) :

I love these outfits, but from what I've seen these don't seem to be Garance's style. I'd love to hear what she thinks. :)

Anonymous LA Film Actress said ... (3:16 PM) :

I think it's great that you're putting up a lot more from the actual fashion shows this year. It's nice to see the collections on the runway, as well as to enjoy the looks of the fashion editors, models, etc. on the street.

After looking at your street photos of "regular" people during most of the year, I really enjoy it twice a year when you turn to the professional fashion people. For anyone who's creative it is very artistically inspiring to see all the interesting colors, cuts, and shapes.

The people who complain on your blog every time you shoot a fashion person have to stop being such philistine prudes. The rest of us are having fun and enjoy these photos.

As for this collection, Dolce and Gabbana is fabulous, and I think these are all very wearable looks. The fourth white dress is an absolute standout.

... Did anyone else notice that these models look healthy?
Thank you

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:00 PM) :

OK Scott, but does Garance like D&G?

Anonymous elxoxodemiprima said ... (7:13 PM) :

lovely collection. pure Dolce's DNA.
but if you have one extra pound on, you ruin the outfits.
its all about shape and soft sensuality.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:00 PM) :

So far, Dolce & Gabbana is my absolute favorite collection. It's so true to their image, it's sexy, but in a subtle way, and it really shows the world what Dolce & Gabbana is all about. The dazzling embellished dresses near the end were also stunners.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:19 AM) :

i love those first two looks. so simple yet sexy and feminine. and marija vujovic rocks it well ;)

Blogger Heather Robinson said ... (9:23 AM) :

Garance would rock that suit so hard and make it her own. I was so delighted to meet her at NY, though briefly, she was so open and absolutely charming--it made her even more beautiful than she already is. Made me think about your posts on the power of manners from last year...

Best Wishes for Paris!

Blogger Melanie's Randomness said ... (9:33 AM) :

I love that suit in the first picture & that bathing suit! Those are amazing looks! I love Dolce!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:24 AM) :

a dull agreement with lace manufacturers!!!, there are not even one single number that achieves to enhance the natural qualyties of those beautiful girls, boring, monotonous, i wander if there are no other newest way to reinterpret italian southerness.!?, and by the way, dear Sart, yell us something about Marni, personally find Consuelo's the greatest collection until now presented!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:29 AM) :

the best achievement is that some pieces remember of old Valentino's, the rest(not to say the whole) is totally forgettable.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:20 AM) :

Does anyone know the name of the model wearing the first balck outfit?

Blogger Liz S said ... (1:10 AM) :

Adore all of these but the white lace inserted dress is breathtaking.

Anonymous Maryanne said ... (8:23 AM) :

in 1986 I had a white linen dress with white lace inserts.
i called it 'bringing my air conditioning with me dress'
it was by oleg cassini.

this one is delightful.
so nice to see femininity on the runway.

the only true style left in fashion is found in italy.

Blogger Smaug said ... (9:34 AM) :

Lucky Garance.
I see he in black

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:30 PM) :

What an incredible collection. Has a real vintage look to it, without looking like a costume.

I find it odd that people only comment on the "on the street" shots and not so much for the collection photos. Whatever.

Blogger Mercina said ... (4:32 PM) :

I adore the black bathing suit/romper look. Perfection!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:11 AM) :

Dreaming about white lace dres...

Blogger Maria Bordeanu said ... (3:27 AM) :

Good choice :) Actually few men like to see women in slouchy over-layered
form-hiding garments. They look allright on slim tall models with high heels but that's about the end of it. Real women are looking better with figure-flattering clothes in good proportions.

Anonymous Annelie said ... (2:38 PM) :

Oh so chic, what one wouldn't do to be a Dolce and Gabbana girl :-)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:56 AM) :
