The colors are beautiful. Something I probably would have wanted to wear when I was six...and now. Love it with the lipstick and converse.

Having a small obsession with Ikat prints these days...

Blogger Bearbabie said ... (8:54 AM) :

she looks like wear the rainbow❤

Blogger Lauren said ... (8:57 AM) :

I've never been so compelled to want to wear something as badly or as immediately as this outfit! The dress is amazing, the Converse are a perfect relaxed addition, the fuchsia lipstick is a lovely foil to the bursts of color, and it is AWESOME to have your sunnies on a chain. Convenient and cute.

Blogger diane said ... (9:04 AM) :

I love "vacation" clothes.

Blogger msduygu said ... (9:04 AM) :

I love that she's wearing Chuck Taylors with that dress! If she wore heels, she would look dressy but now she looks cute and effortlessly chic (in my opinion). I tend to do the same thing with dresses when I'm going for a casual look—white Chuck Taylors dress it down without making it look sloppy.

Anonymous Dawne said ... (9:04 AM) :

Happy + colour = so pretty!

Blogger Aida Chicle said ... (9:04 AM) :

I dislike the glasses and the converses with this dress, I think that old sunglasses on the hair and classic brown shoes would be a better election, do you know?

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:14 AM) :

Fab easy silhouette with a bright colorful print on top. You are so not overextended with a fancy apparel piece, plus print plus plus plus.It is just pure simplicity with an awesome graphic.

Blogger Kathleen said ... (9:19 AM) :

Oh I just love this young woman and her "totally fun" outfit. The boxy cut and pattern of her dress remind me of Marimekko's clothing. But, put this outfit on a tanned Italian beauty with a pair of bright white Designer Sneakers (No doubt) and you've got a refreshingly lovely summer outfit. Bella!

Not the most figure flattering shape for a dress, but the colors are truly happy. I love the pockets and the Chucks. Especially love her demure but slightly mischievous smile. You don't see many simple shifts like this. Did she design this herself? Pretty lady.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:03 AM) :

Ah, I love this - yes!!

Blogger Ginta said ... (11:03 AM) :

summer perfection - simple cute printed dress, colorful accessories, bright lips, blue nails and white converse!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:10 AM) :

Eh. The dress doesn't really do much for her figure. I like that it's colorful and adore the Converse kicks with it, but I wouldn't give this dress a 2nd glance. And the old lady glasses rope? I'll pass...

She's as refreshing a popsicle on a hot day! Not all dresses have to be figure-hugging - this looks cool and breezy and very sexy-fresh. Love the Nouvelle Vague polish and Schiap pink lippy, too.

Anonymous Ben said ... (12:43 PM) :

Nope. I can't really see a level on which that works at all. I appreciate that it's "fun", but come on. It looks like she's wearing a rather ugly rug.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:53 PM) :

beautiful girl, shoes very unexpected and great touch. Very few people could carry off this shape/color of dress. The shape is reminiscent of a medical smock--like a dental hygienist would wear (with pants), but she's so beautiful she pulls it off. I think there are tons of other outfits that would look much better on her, but she looks happy so who cares!

Anonymous jdit said ... (7:10 PM) :

Ohhh yeah. My girlfriend immediately came to mind. She would simply look deliciously cute and adorable in this outfit. She is simply cute and adorable anyway. The color striping looks almost drizzled and would just be perfect. She is a vibrant visual artist and this would just be icing on an already wonderfully perfect cake!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:55 PM) :

I think there is something wrong with me. I must be the only American on the planet who just abhors sneakers. To me these shoes do nothing to enhance her beauty or her style. Where others see playful, I see stumpy and sweaty. Sure wish my eyes would allow me to appreciate what obviously a lot of others do.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:29 PM) :

OK. I'm confused. I visit Florence twice a year and I have never, never, ever seen an Italian woman wear something so shapeless. Interesting.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:10 PM) :

The outfit compliments both a sunny day and her body. The pattern reminds me Uzbekistan motives of their traditional fabrics. Beautiful young lady!

Sometimes I think the ideal wardrobe would be the same sheath dress made up in a thousand different fabrics. A long ceiling rack like they have at the dry-cleaners: push a button and the dresses flow past you, push a button to stop. Ray Bans, Cons, black cashmere sweater, black suede very high heels, good haircut, regular workouts. A bike and an eReader with 100 books in it. Easy, regal, done.

Pretty and happy!

Oddly though, the dress does not seem to be that flatering on her body shape. It begs the question... is this young lady Italian? Im guessing not, because we tend to be all about proportion and cut. Beautiful and 'outside the box' though. Just a little 'boxy' for me.

Very pretty woman. Love the hair and makeup. The sneakers are the BOMB! The color of the dress is fine.

However,

the old lady 'glasses on the chain' and
the boxy, shapeless dress have to go
IM-EEEEE-JET-LEE! She's much too young and shapely to be wearing something so unflattering to her form.
