Stylish gentelman!

There's nothing better than great old man style. Wonderful portrait.

Beppe is aware of his charm!
Go Beppe, and teach to all those trivial men!
Why, isn't he dapper?!
Ah well, I like the tie and the use of the pin, but not sure about the lapels on that jacket.
I love seeing gentlemen that stay dapper and classic into old age.
XX.
Mae Lu, thereafterish.
True essence of the phrase "distinguished gentleman".
Got a lil emotional there seeing this picture. Fashion has got NO age limit !!!
WWBD! He's perfect!
one of our old favorites....with his signature safety pin as a tie clip detail ....as always great personal style.
THXSAR!
Old school style.
You can never over-enthuse the power of a sharp suit. Imagine Beppe in some saggy old cords and thermofleece jumper... not so lovely. But in this slick attire he is a silver fox if ever there was one. X

Beppe's blue steel look takes no prisoners

Highly impressive!
So dapper. Men should wear suits more :) !! xx
Beppe Modenese, President of the Italian Chamber of Fashion.
Why do italien men favour blue soooo much?
Stylish old man. Too bad his tie is a little ruffled up, culd use some fixing lol!

Q.BELLO! That's a suit! Nailhead pattern? tie that is fantastic. The continuing blue period of Sart. is causing me to intensify my search for a blue pin/chalk stripe suit. Wish we could see the whole suit/shoes. Miraviglioso.
Beppe means ´grandma´ in Frisian (language spoken in the north of Holland). Funny :)
nofashion-fashion. classic rules!
Beautiful dressing. Appears to be effortless... As natural and comfortable as a second skin. Love the bumped out tie.
Scott-- Start working on your men's style guide. (I'm already standing in line.)

I do not think his tie is just ruffled up. I think he fixed it that way to let the plain matching color part emerge from under the pattern.
Yeah, great idea, as John Wesley said, a blog only featuring stylish men, I would love it!

gotta love a well put together outfit!

No matter the age the Italians make it look effortless. So classic without forcing anything. Its remarkable that their attire is the same attire a 25 year old gentlemen would be wearing. A suit with beautiful material and exquisite tailoring along with a touch of independent style. Simply beautiful.

haha I absolutely agree - ASK BEPPE! :)

i can't believe i never thought to crease the tie with a pin to rise like that. that's genius. or perhaps i haven't noticed it done before. now that's attention to detail that he created. is that a safety pin? if so, that's pretty awesome and dare i say, a bit of punk rock aesthetic
Impeccable. The pop of red in the pocket energizes the palette. He's a force.
Well Beppe nailed it !

It is a safety pin(?!) he has on?
if yes,
well done Zio Beppe!
I hadn't noticed the safety pin, but I think it's genius. The suit is impeccable, maybe that's what makes it great. I love a blue shirt.
Hah!
Great suit, great accessories, great tie, the works. Beppe is always dressed perfectly. Hope he is wearing Tropical weight here, its still so very hot in Italy! I love the rich color blue of his shirt. Lovely! The Italians have a "I don't give a d - - n whether it's cooled down or not, I'm dressing for Fall". Love this attitude.
Elegance has no age but he looks like a man whose profession has defined his style, let me guess would he be a banker?
The Grand Master of style!
Beppe is trim and elegant. He wears his years with style and grace. And yes please, write a book on style for men and I will personally sell it where I live.Help is needed here.
There is something very beguiling about a well dressed older gentlemen.
Fabulous portrait! I imagine he'd dress impeccably on a Sunday morning. He's got a look of Alan Arkin, don't you think?
Beppe, you're the man.
Classy,charming and flawless...
So many clothing choices look good but don't make me pause. A man who dresses like so immaculately and then adds a safety pin - that intrigues me and makes me want to know more about who he is. Especially with a stare like that. May men like Beppe be around in a few years when I need them.
Oh please, Scott, do a men's style guide!!!
love the tiiiieee, so well put together!
Very distinguished, charismatic, style !!!!!!!
Nice photo and great yet subtle style. Love how the tie vorresponds to the freckled shiny head.
But what's going on with the shoulders? Is the seam rolled back or something? Unusual cut.
Here is an alternative to sprezzatura: elegance.
Bravo Beppe! You look great!
This man is elegante and understated.
Remember the some days ago post with the guy in Florence wiht a gold Rolex, two Gold rings and a Vertu mobile phone?
That guy should look at this gentleman and learn something about being elegant and don't be flashy.
yes, please, a men's style guide it would be a great idea. I have a little men's boutique i Tenerife, (Canary Island) and although we buy and go Pitti your blog is a continous inspiration for me when I expose the clothes. thank you very muchh.
i love when you photograph old people
LOVE the safety pin!!
Love this man's face! Love the title of the book as well. Do it!
Great ! i found your blog through delicious.
Milan is style. Thanks for your pics and words
Beppe is a true man of style and gentility, with impeccible manners. I truly enjoyed working with him at Tiffany & Co. His trademark red socks are a fantastic symbol of his verve against the grain.
This guy puts Gordon Gekko to shame!
www.jrocomedy.blogspot.com
I love the comment under the photo, the man is absolutely stunning! That's how I want to look like in my 60s : )
Class!
Stunning! Why is it that mean manage to age so much better than women! It is so UNFAIR!
is it a safety pin or an antique tie pin? Don't they wreck the silk? Still it would be worth it as it gives the tie some (as you would say) "sprezzatura"! Why are we so afraid of ties these days? I predict a big come-back.
Fabulous!
Simply beautiful!
Beppe = My hero!
This man is beautiful~!
Thank you for this posting.
Great suit!!
look at the matching lines on the collar .. this is made "sur mesure"
thanks
great post and pic of Beppe
