Comments on "On the Street....Summer Suited, Milano"
Stylisch chic!!
Beautiful beard.. :)
i love his moustache. classy.
this is fancy...
I'm drawn to this shot. Got to love the classic shades and the seersucker bow tie. I say that is along with his playful and edgy look that put's a spin on seersucker. Overall it is your subject swagg that puts the 'new spin on seersucker'
Great moustache!
Seersucker bow-tie... Great touch!
Only in Milan! Great style!

so... the bowtie rotates?
everything about this photo is quite amazing. from the suit. bowie. and the facial hair to the sunglasses.
i believe these older milan men are some of the best dressers
This is really nice, I love how you almost assume he has blue eyes matching his jacket and tie. That 'stache and beard are pretty sweet too!
hot daddy once again! :D
Wow. Definition of a dandy. Love it.
What a character! I love people who aren't afraid to be who they are. Great find Scott!!

via a personal experience. I had my tailor make alterations on a seersucker suit amongst other items. She always saves the extra fabric for me. I happened to stumble across extra seersucker fabric via the pants she recut. It made an excellent pocket square. 'recycle - save the fabric'
This might be my favorite photo I've seen on your site! It makes me believe that this man has a keen attention to detail and a calm, collected personality- someone I'd want to be around. Everything seems so perfect for him- the glasses, suit, tie, facial hair, hair cut. great shot!
those look like Persol brand sunglassess. Anyone got an idea what model? They look good.
The tie is super fantastic.
he looks so stylish! I LOVE it :)
FRESHHHHH....
Bow tie is likely Black Fleece. I wonder about the suit.
He is a man I would like to have a conversation with, cool, hip, stylish and I love those little curlycues on his moustasche.
isnt this Nick Wooster ?
Wow! It is had to make a seer sucker look this good! I love it! Kudos to him and his amazing style!
Great Sunglasses. Anyone know what they are?
mustache.

The glasses are Ray-Bans, back in fashion, now they come and many colors, mine are red. Love the picture of the guy. But, his style is fussy, waxing mustache and hair, knotting a tie...I would love the suit and tie if his face a do were more relaxed.
Wow.
Glad we have a fashion blog that is not about fashion victims. Infact, this is a blog about stylists rather than fashionista.
Keep up the good work, Scott!
The glasses are not Persol because they do not have the arrow on the sides. They are possibly a more boutique brand like Cutler and Gross, but Italian.
For me, the haircut, little twirl in the mustache and the bowtie make it. I mean the mustache twirl truly adds "a new spin."
So nice to see a well groomed beard and moustasche-- lets the dimple out, accentuates his jaw line, yep, a foxy gentlemen in seersucker--who'd a thunk it!
What a crisp look! Delightful!
Love those sunnies. Though this pic reminds me a bit of a suave Kernel Saunders, like Kernel Saunder's cool older brother. Kenny Saunders.
Nicole
these are your best inspiration and so shots : the old italian men - this is pure style.

Nickelson Wooster, Men's Fashion Director at Bergdorf Goodman.
The man is one of the most stylish men around.. Pity, he cropped his hair short again...
I feel that his grooming is such an integral part of all his looks.
It takes gives all his looks a sense of "badass" or "Sprezzatura"
You could take a picture of what he is wearing everyday... Always an inspiration.
Prepidemic featured him last week too.. Link here
Seersucker suit and bowtie and STILL looks like you wouldn't want to mess with him. This look exudes personality and nothing is better accessory than a curled mustache. Awesome!
younggentsguide.blogspot.com
I love the look, and wish I could find items like that is Seoul readily, I don't see the "new spin" angle. Blue seersucker suit's a classic. Seersucker bowtie with seersucker suit - nothing new. Is it just that he has a beard and mustache that makes it new?
A seersucker suit is not unusual. The combination with the seersucker bow tie is, as is wearing a bow tie with a spread collar shirt. It is almost a cutaway collar.
I think that you posted a photo of this man before he adopted this haircut. I do not think the haircut works as well for him as one that is more layered down the sides.
love this, i actually wore a similar suit yesterday to my cousin's wedding.
Whats the spin mate? looks like seersucker to me.. Like every other bloke in a seersucker suit in NOLA...
What a fab mustache! I have to talk my dad into getting one like that. :)
What a great picture. :)
Sharp as a tack !
http://www.idealindreamers.blogspot.com/
I disagree. He's trying WAY too hard, it looks like he woke up EXTRA early to plan what he was going to wear, too "matchy-matchy", forced and contrived.
With those dimples, who needs the upturned 'stache?!! (just a little too affected. )
Hair, glasses, beard, seersucker It's all working.

wow perfectly put together! i love his glasses
Fairly certain the shades are by Moscot (Lemtosh model).
Chris
You can really see his personality through his clothes and how he presents himself! I absolutely love it!
http://mushitushi.blogspot.com
There's something wonderfully "off" about the suit & tie combination--it's classic, but I keep for the tie to spin around or something. (Must be the funky optical effect the stripes create.) Dig the teensy handlebar 'stache, too.
no reflection of yourself in the lenses... classy. also, so fastidiously groomed, and that little twirl on the ends... such a touch of personal, stylish whimsy. as always, your eye to detail astounds. thank you!
love the mustache, so chic!

moscot lemtosh?
perfect perfect glasses.
kind of simple and they look so tailored.
Quel homme !
straight up class
Stripe-vaganza!
Loving this Gentleman Style..

Amazing. If there's anything that epitomises Summer for me, it's seersucker. Oh, as well as sun, etc.
-Ste www.stitchesfabricandsoul.com
He looks like an ice cream sales man, though the glasses are cool.
GREAT!!! I LOVE THE GLASSES! ONLY IN ITALY!!
http://apefrizz.blogspot.com
My, he's got style!
I believe that the glasses are a pair of Moscot Lemtosh.
I love his hair cut & his sunglasses are wonderful.

A fresh and funny image:an ironic homage to the early decades of last century.
great class
I believe it is a pair of Moscot Lemtosh glasses.
Now we are talking about Milano's style!!!!!
I reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy love this look
http://coolneeded.blogspot.com/
I love his look in this photo. And after looking at other photos I see his style as classic yet still forward and edgy--especially more so because of his age, (as much as it pains me to say this).
Maybe--just maybe his sunglasses here are a little too small for his face, being the style that they are.
love the jacket and matching tie! ... and the Moscot sunglasses ... perfect ...
http://ramalhoni.blogspot.com
isn't he look wonderfull:)
He is one particular gentleman. Look at the detailed styling of his moustache. I would imagine anything he dons is carefully considered.
You just can't hate on the mustage, rocked with such verve... Splendid!

Fantastic Look!!!!!!!!!!

Perfect hair and beard, more important than the clothes.
its definitely moscot black lemtosh!..
Distinguished and quirky. I love it.

Suave.

I don't know about this one, he looks like he's missing an Ice cream truck.
The sunglasses are what gets me.
every time you post photos of this guy he always looks great. a real inspiration.
Love the seersucker, however the curlicues at the ends of his mustache must go.
a little too much going on. reminds me of the saying - once you've finished dressing, before you leave the house, remove at least one piece from your ensemble. in his case, maybe 2.
that said, he would certainly make me smile on the street.
Was he wearing dark shoes or white bucks with this?
I think he looks awesome. I'll bet he was sockless. I like it when people pay such attention to details, the moscot lemtosh sunglasses, the bow tie, the twirled ends of the mustache. This is summer, but with a twist.
best thing about this... This dude resides in Houston. LoVE it.
love it!
Seersucker is awesome and he wears it well!
Holdin' down the sass front.
stylish haha! :-)
http://thestyleograph.blogspot.com/
This guy is ALL STYLE. Not relying on his GOOD LOOKS at all. He thought this outfit out, it's crisp and clean and screams SUMMER. He looks masculine. The little curls at the end of his 'stash and the metallic details on his sunglasses - it's all so symmetrical. I love this outfit and his photo!
Now that's just cool....
His tache is so well groomed! Impressive haha
Love his sunglasses as well, think we sell them.
http://www.redhotsunglasses.com/
I love this. This outfit is austere yet...dare I say it...cute.
He looks like he smells good too.
i love his glasses
whoever heard of badass seersucker? I love it.
This man is amazing.
LOVE that mustache, of course.
Call me dumb but I really cannot see the spin! Seersucker is nice - especially when it is warm - and this a very traditional way of wearing it.
http://davidikus.blogspot.com/
lovely photograph, i know it´s about his suit and all but i just love the way you can see the reflection in his sunglasses!
Maybe not a Moscot Lemtosh, but definitely a Tart Arnel copy (or maybe even original). This is the style favored by such great Sarts as Misters Depp and Dean. But my favorite element is the straight bowtie, very Mr. Browne...
Looks like he is hiding a smile. Nice look, but I've never been a fan of the bow-tie.
Wow wow wow! Were the pants the same fabric?! Everything together is so interesting - his mustache, those glasses, the pattern. Inquiring minds want to see the rest of him!
Just a heads up on the glasses.
These glasses are by a company called Tart the style is called Arnell. They are made in America circa 1950. However its very hard to find an originally made Tart Arnell. They were remade in the 90's by Tart and we have about 10 at A. Kinney Court in Venice. But we don't have it in black. And its not exactly what Johnny Depp wore because he has the original.
Many companies have copied this frame, and only a few have copied verbatim minus the quality. But just so you all know, There is no mistaking that this is a Tart Arnell frame, no doubt about it.
And lastly, if your in the know enough to read the Sartorialist or hip enough, then get over these glasses. This style is late at this point. Beautiful, but mainstream now.
Ciao,

'Wooster rules'
http://allicblog.blogspot.com/
everything, right down to the tiny curls at the tips of his moustache, is fantastically pristine and dapper!
Love the clash between a modern haircut and classic stache and beard.
Mustache Salvador Dali-like.
Unique look. (the bow made if seersucker matching the blazer could have gone to the "bartender mode" but he pulls it off!)
Beautiful angle! you really capture this guy's spirit.
http://anjeweluniversal.blogspot.com/
Amazing!
http://arstcrylique.blogspot.com/
The combination of the different stripes of the suit and bow-tie is great - and topped off with very modern shades - BRAVO!
Handsome guy with a fearless sense of style. The mustache and meticulous beard are a tad precious for my personal taste and distract from those gorgeous dimples, but who the hell am I? Rock on Mr. Wooster.
B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L portrait! The composition is divine and the focusing details delicious!
qualcuno sa dirmi chi è quest'uomo???!!! semplicemente affascinante!
That is one Pretty Picture.
he made me think salvador dali !
he made me think salvador dali
Oh this man is devastatingly perfect! He would look fabulous sitting in my house........
Katie
i love his style!
come, let me twirl your mustache for you.
A man who really knows how to dress and not a single crease. Love the detail in his reflection too.
his bowtie should be dark navy blue silk to pull his outfit together, it looks like he is in disguise or that he is trying to mess up a tv. Is this modern camouflage?
