LOVE those shoes!

This picture is so nice and it seems a funny moment. Cool!
http://mesvoyagesaparis.blogspot.com/
The colour of her shirt is very cool and gives a fantastic 20s allure to the entire look. Plus, her headband is so fifties! Yes a great mix of different styles. I love it!
Perfect ribbon. Whole vintage look fantastic.
:)))))))))))
Perfect ribbon. Sa good vintage look also.
I could do without the headpiece, but she is well put together!
I love the whole outfit! I love the girl's sense of humor. Her shoes are great too.
Great sandals! Workin' the "I Love Lucy" look pretty hard.
Great headscarfe and blouse!
Kat x Click&Make-Up!
wow! lovely!!
love those shorts and the blouse and the sandals as well!!

her attire fits her attitude. very sweet and silly. :)
What a fantastic headscarf-- the knot enhances her hair style beautifully!
Love this look simple but full of life. The shoes and the headpiece add character.
I love this feelings of this. especially her head scarf. it really pulls it together!
I like her style...and she looks like she has a great sense of humour.

Fun fashion...I love how you capture the elegant, the whimsical, the edgy, and something like this--a style that seems to wink at the viewer. I love your blog!
Cute! She reminds me of Lily Tomlin's Ernestine.
You know who this woman is immediately through her clothing. Personality all over the place! Great picture.
Those sandals are stunning. Bet they are super-comfortable, too.
OHHHHH!!
I LOVE HER SUNGLASSES AND HER SCARF/TURBAN! :)

She's a great model :) Love the humor in the pic. :) Makes me SMILE!
That whole outfit it amazing! Colours are perfect.
It's so strange to see Italian women wearing shorts. I was sure that it would never happen in the city. Last year in Florence my friend and I debated about it. This year, in May, I saw a girl walking along near Piazza Santa Maria Novella in shorts and a nice men's-influenced white and blue-striped shirt. What is interesting though is that the Italian girls seem to opt for longer and more tailored shorts than do North American girls. I like it.Cute that she's still wearing her kerchief look!
Monocle smile! Haha.
Great outfit.
Wow she looks incredible! very 'Grey Gardens' actually
www.sylviaetc.blogspot.com
I can't do the colours. They look too drab. The collar is very nice and I like the shorts. As to the '50's (?) headband and the insanely wacky specs, all good too. I struggle only with the colours and I would not be surprised if they grow on me... Thanks!
Does anyone know how to do that bow?? Its soooo cute!
Why does she remind me of the fabulous Diana Vreeland? Maybe it's her ESPRIT... Great picture! Wonderful woman!
Wow! how fun and quirky this lady is! Nice, retro style and a personality to go with it! :)
This picture looks like it could be from an old "I Love Lucy" episode if you put in black & white.
She's ADORABLE! I LOVE quirky people.
http://lisapetrarca.blogspot.com
What a cute look! I love her shoes and her spirit is just amazing!

She looks so adorable--I actually love the colors. The shorts are a great shape, and keep the outfit a bit dressier.
AMAZING look!
gorgeous!!!!!!

For me, fahsion is something that isn't an exaggeration. Anything too powerful that pops out too much is not my taste. I'm talking about our daily fashion.. And you seem to find people who are natural in that sense without beeing too dull either.. This woman is a good example.. She definitely has her own style with the 50's era going on, yet it's not an immitation either because of the toned down colors of her blouse and taylored shorts which for me looks more of a classical summer look. As always people say, the details that make the twist and turn into an original look.
I love the shorts! It's incredibly refreshing to see women in things that aren't varnished on.
Above the waist, it's great. I think a skirt, somewhat full but not long, would be better than shorts.
great shot and she has a nice style
http://loresfashion.blogspot.com
The greatest of the 40's and 50's : happiness and elegance ! Special mention for the "Bibi" in hair.
I like this look too. The sandals are wonderful, not flip flops or gladiators, but something new. And those brown shorts, which are fairly pedestrian, look great with a lovely silk blouse like this. I do question the scarf around the head, I wish she had left her hair long, it makes me think that she has curlers underneath.
I LOVE HER GLASSES. The glasses and the headband give her the look.
Perfect. Not only the whole look, but her attitude.
I seriously want those sandals. Never seen Art Deco ones before.
These shoes are a prime example of Florentine craftsmanship. The form is modern in its geometric lines, but dynamic enough that anyone would be hard pressed to find them boring in a decade or so.
I love this- From her nanna-chic headscarf down to her 'love' flats (are they Charlotte Olympia?).

I love especially her bangs peeking out of the scarf plus the collar of the peach blouse!
lovely outfit!i love the styling. :]
Love it when people can pull off goofy and fun without sliding into performative "Look how KOOKY I am!" obnoxiousness. There's genuine confidence here.
(And someone beat me to "Monocle smile"... darn!)
she looks lovely, this shot is so playful and loud yet the outfit is so chic and sophisticated.

I find that the shorts are not the most flattering for her legs and coloring. The head scarf and the glasses are not working either. The hair should be free of time reference. The sandals and the blouse is completely modern with the shorts. Very fashionista and great mood.
I love everything about this outfit, the shorts, the shirt the sandals... and the best part really is that she seems genuinely quirky and fun, where many people who attempt the same thing just appear fake and put on. I want to know where she shops...and I REALLY wouldn't mind a mini break to Florence right about now!

Help Scott...which accessories should I wear to my step daughters wedding today at 5 p.m.?

love the shoes!
this girl has a really nice outfit (I especially love the sunglasses), but the most important is, that she don't take her image too serious! ;)
The (im)Perfect Harmony
Loooove this. She's too cute. Great photo!
I love everything down to the sandals!!!
OMG! I must have dozens of photographs of my mom dressed almost exactly like this. She didn't do the scarf thing, although very popular in the forties, unless she had her hair in bobby pins underneath, but the rest of this picture brings back a flood of memories. I'll have to did around and find a few and send them in. Wow! Her sandals are to die for. Love it all, great photograph Scott!
adorable!!
I want her sandals!!!!
She's joyful! I love her sandals!
Cute, but too costumey in the end.
elegant colours and stylish shoes :)
so crazy, i love it !!!

And this is why I'm in love with Florence and would like to move back one day.
You have to check out the iconic photo I use (Cindy Crawford for Pepsi-Cola in the 90's) in my Gas Station Glamour posting. I think the photo says a whole lot about all-American fashion these days. XO Valerie

love all the texture and the geometry of the sandals. In terms of colours and lengths and baggyness/ overall look this reminds me a lot of "Summer in the City, Paris" you shot a week ago (girl with long shorts).
LOVE this!
Totally trendy!
http://exquisit-ices.blogspot.com/
Love all of it! She looks A D O R A B L E!
You have captured every essence of her character in this photo(with the background which creates an even stronger contrast, and that is why she looks so good..great photo!

As one who is very pale myself, I always love seeing someone who is happy to show off her fair skin!
I really, really love her blouse.

Makes me wanna sing 'Le Vie En Rose'...even if she is Italian.
www.jasonromaine.com
I love that period (1940s, maybe even a bit of the 30s), and she pulls it off beautifully. Even though she's in Florence, the shorts and sunglasses make her look like a femme fatale in Raymond Chandler's Los Angeles.
Just looking at the pic makes me feel like Philip Marlowe!
I love this chic!
she looks like catherine baba:)she’s so lovely!

Absolutely love the sandals! Anyone happen to know the designer of those?
Love her eye.
Great 1940s-meets-2010s moment.Nice contrast of subtle, sophisticated colors and crazy-fun headscarf and glasses.

aahw so sweet!! xx
She's so cute. Brown is the new black... =)
So fresh and playful.
She looks like she is having so much fun and I love love love her shoes.
Cute outfit, but it would be nothing with out her attitude. I really think it's her personality that makes this. Plus, it's so refreshing to see a woman in summer embracing her pale skin. I'm so used to seeing every Australian female covered in orange fake tan..
Another great picture Scott!
so COOOL!

Love the outfit, especially the blouse and the sandals. However, what I love the most is her playfulness... it's contagious!

THE COLORS!!!

What I'd give to have her style sense! What a beauty x
I like the sandals and the sense of humor.A granddaughter of the Andrew sisters.
The epitome of vintage summer chic!
She adores life which is very refreshing to see in a picture and not easy to capture. This outift whispers rather than shouts. her ring is very nice, too.
Fun & very expressive....
I notice got another summer look with almost the same colors & type of dress earlier in this blog.... but totally different impression...
lovely outfit..
it suits her and her laugh is so bright.
LOx
sandals, agreed!! anyone know who they're by?
what a nice look, love the bow!
:)
love the glasses
My mother wore scarves like this in the forties: influenced by Carmen Miranda? I especially like the way the scarf and sandals match.
love the sandals and her quirk
http://donotshoeme.blogspot.com/
She made me laugh! Just like the other Lucy, she's beautiful and brave.
What fun!
i love her sandals
I really like the skin tone colors used to make this outfit. The stay mute while the lady just pops out. This outfit totally compliments her style.
Her sunglasses are amazing!
I almost love this, but sunglasses and a monocle feel like overkill...
This is such a great photo!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGpcKu7kLuY
Monocle smile! No, in all seriousness I love the whole vintage feel, but absolutely adore the scarf/bow wrapped around her head. Fabulous!
Love it, love it, love it.
another wonderful hair scarf!
