Comments on "On the Street... Summer Denim p.2, Florence"
I really like this. Love how she's styled it, especially with the matching blue brolly.

i love that color, royal navy. beautiful!
Love the Bracelets and the contrast to the dark navy!
From Japan
That's such a unique looking piece. I think a belt could add to it?

Looks like this little frock could double as a sleeping gown. I think if the hem were straight, it would read more as a denim shirtdress.
Fab platforms!
Hmmm, as much as I want to like this I find it too overpowering for this girl and rather shapeless. Maybe a different angle? Maybe a softer denim so it falls better?
But I do love her shoes and the way her umbrella matches the denim. I wonder how much thought people give to umbrellas matching.
Not a fan. Looks like a denim night gown.
I love her shoes, but I would have belted the denim dress.

ahh those shooes! love.
Was the blue coat intended as a dress, or was it indeed a coat over something more structured? As-is, she looks like an artist with great ideas on her mind but not much concern for body and presentation. I do like the shoes, though; the blue-grey stripe makes them especially interesting yet still useful with a variety of outfits.

Really, anything coul look good with those shoes!
A key to any style.

I LOVE HER HEELS!!

Denim dress...RULES!!! I love!!
her eyes pop. and the pen in her hand explodes off the image.
gorge...
A pity that it is not shown from the front. Guess it has a button placket on the centre front all way down. Denim dress to its finest.
Not a fan as it is just too baggy and shapeless. Could work better worn as a coat. Gorgeous shoes though...

LOving shoes and picture
http:/coolneeded.blogspot.com
is it a coat?
can't say i like anything about this look, but maybe from the front there is something cool.
She's pretty.
Summer denim for me means chambray.
Is it a loose coat or a dress?
I don't love baggy but she still looks great !
The heels♥
god save the denim :D

sweet kisses ^^
i think she's fantastic in her simplicity and oversized shirt.
And those sandals, aren't they Marni, right?
Wonderful!
Love how well she carries it off- and those bracelets- they just make her outfit! WOW!
Her whole ensemble rocks! I just love it :)
I love her shoes!!!!!!
http://audreyismyfavourite.blogspot.com
She looks perfect.
For first sight I thought that it's winter coat, but then I saw shoes...:)
I definitely prefer this look than the first denim one!
she seems like a 30's grandmother before going to sleep, but she's poetically modern...
i love tha fact that she's not wearing a belt and i adore her shoes!
i also like that she's in front of an old closet...you could immagine an history from this shoot!!! thanx!
lovely!
Oh wow, this is a fantastic photo & outfit. Love the heels.SarahD:)
I really like this...I love her shoes
Oh but I like it so! I know it is loose, but it is also long enough to not be slightly indecent(especially for a woman that is pregnant and is having a really hard time with the thought of maternity clothes!)
Im not a big fan of the look, its does look like a night gown for me. But I like the fact that she didnt belt it,because everything seems to me belt it these days!
The shoes are great, really make a difference in the her look,so do the bracelets!
love the mole.
sexy
I love the denim dress! What does everyone think about ironing? I think it needs a good press, but being denim is it not the done thing? Just curious.
i love those bracelets! she is so cool, certainly not mainstream fashionista .
As a man, I like the shoes; I really like how the un-belted denim dress and the shoes frame her legs. That was my focal point when I first glanced at the pic (not the bracelets, not the matching umbrella). I loved the effect and I think any woman would look as attractive as her with that little trick.
By the way, her outfit reminds me of the song T-Shirt by Shontelle. There's something about that T-Shirt effect on a woman's outfit... Maybe its just me.
i like the casualness (and that it's not belted does add a certain comfortable flair). but what happens when the wind hits her dress in a not so flattering way?
It looks like a denim garbage bag. Try a belt.
the pic is amazing...like the idea...style is of course as well too!
http://thestyleograph.blogspot.com/
I love the shoes!!!!
http://mesvoyagesaparis.blogspot.com/2010/07/giovanna-battagliaat-chanel.html
Beautiful, and totally different from the look before. The girl in the other picture is as gorgeous and beautiful, but her blouse was simply too short to wear over bare legs. It looks like she is trying too hard. This girl is all about simplicity, simplicity is fantastic especially with a creative touch (shoes, bracelets, umbrella).
Love the picture!
nice colors...
A cool look! It fits everything on her! I like the royal navy too!
http://the-stylish-citizen.blogspot.com/
I'm not a fan of things too oversized...love the shoes though!
Perfect!!! And also the position...beutiful!
http://fashiondoesntexist.blogspot.com/
like the look...love the shoes!
when will we see images from Paris?
Uh, I love the first look, but not this one. The shoes are all wrong for the dress, the dress itself is shapeless and baggy, and she looks pregnant in it. Denim seems to me to be a casual look, that works well with casual shoes, like the first look with boots. Also, the length of the first shot is great, modern, this one feels like a throwback to the '70's.
I think I only like the heels the most in this photo. The outfit to me just doesn't go well together. To be honest, the highlighter that she is holding is what really stands out in this photo.
i love her pose, it's like if she was hidding something.

timeless and beautiful...
Confidence steaming through, absolutely love her heels!

No matter what color, texture, or material the picture contains, posters manage to say oh my god I LOVE [x color] and bow down to the sartorialist. I'm usually a huge fan of your subjects, but this look is just awful.
1. Why would anyone wear dark denim in the summer?
2. Why would anyone wear anything so shapeless?
3. Why can't she even match it with nice shoes?
Sorry, but this just fails big time.
I like the color... and definitely I love the shoes!
I like this denim look more than I like the other. I suppose it is the looseness of the dress with the slickness of her hair, shoes and jewelry.
I adore denim series:)
She is beautiful and daring.
thanks for sharing!Scott

Wonderful blue!
weird because the crumpling on the bottom looks like it's been tucked into something but that can't be true! (or maybe she has worn it belted & hunched up around her hips on a previous day?)
she must be comfortable around the waist, nice and cool on a hot day, but (unless she is pregant) i agree with others who say that it doesn't flatter her shape. however feminine the shoes are, i wouldn't feel great wearing something like this...
the subtleties in this picture are fantastic: the matching umbrella, the orange pen, the red bead on her bracelet. her bracelet looks like persona. is it? (www.personaworld.com) love the expression on the model too.

im in LOVE with this.

She is beautiful. She could wear a burlap sack and get away with it (as my Mother used to say). I enjoy the thin denim dress. I say this because I am a huge fan of cool comfort and though the shoes look painful (yet sexy) at least she is breezy on top. I also enjoy the bracelets and her unfussy hair.
marni shoes!
I like the dress, but I wish the heels were slightly different.
Love the feeling of practicality here, also the fact that I can't name the garment (dress? smock?), which adds to sense of possibility.
loved this photo, great denim

selfconscious style, don't need a word
Love the accessories and how the dress makes her eyes look so stunning! The red toes and fingernails are the perfect compliment!
So beatiful!!! So simple. Want that coat/shirt.
I love the denim photos you have been posting. The indigo blue is a great, vibrant color for summer and is captured well in your photos. Now I want to go buy a big denim shirt!
I love in this shot how the saturated denim blue plays off the brown of the door and the colors in those fabulous Marni shoes.
http://www.libertasfilmmagazine.com
... and denim eyes too ! What a beautifull blue-girl !
The grown up version of the look just below. Nice.
I WANT THAT SHOES!!!
shoes + make up and hair!
I am normally not a big fan of matching colors...aka monochromatic, however these indigo hues are something else here. I love it all! It must also have to do with the fact that dress is matching her umbrella.
Her shoes and bracets are just as interesting!
THXSAR!
Love, Love, Love the shoes!

I love the bracelets! and her flawless pout!
http://pinkpeonieswithlove.blogspot.com
Eh. I don't care much about the denim shirt dress thing. But I DO like dem' heels! They're on fiyah! Also her face...gotta love it.
the dress really makes her eyes pop. the orange highlighter also makes a nice touch.
I love shapeless but not in this instance.
www.whatinthenameoflove.blogspot.com
Is the dress shapeless, or is it just the angle of view? Great shoes, but so wrong for this casual outfit.
Love how comfy and chic it looks! And those heels are great.
Heels heels heels!
I like this coat dress very much. It's not at all shapeless but fits her very well around the shoulders. It's perfect for a rainy summer day with her lovely bare legs. The only thing I don't like are the wrinkles at the bottom.
Elaine
I love colors on this picture: navy blue and chocolate brown. It matches together.

I really like the way she looks... Somehow - what grabs my attention the most is a fact, that her luminous, very delicate and innocent beauty she is covering with a huge denim outfit - like a big tent / a shelter. Together with bold and highly feminine platforms it MAKES A RARE STATEMENT!!!
Great example and great photo!!!
xoxo
OMG.. her eyes matches her denim dress..
Love it..
LOx
Sorry, I can't connect to overall/artist coat as a dress. It goes nowhere for me.
I like the heels and the neck
I like the dress but not the heels. Great shot in any case.
She is gorgeous. I love her coat? Wonder what the rest of her outfit looks like. She is lovely, and her shoes are to die fro. Nice bohemian accessories. She is playing with her look and I love this.
Isn't she the prettiest of 'm all?
Coat? Robe? Who cares? She should get rid of it.
Great shoes.
http://izzenxoxo.blogspot.com/
She looks cool & I love the denim dress not belted! Note to self get a denim dress for the Aussie summer...
this will go down in history as one of your great shots.. don't know about the fashion, but the lady, her pose and the moment captured... her, in the doorway, just about to open a door.. is serene, and captivating. iconic
And of course the shoes caught my attention. I never would think of wearing shoes in an outfit like that. But she definitely pulled it off.
I love how her eyes match the colour of the tunic.
What an easy, breezy, beautiful (not, not Covergirl) summer look.
www.curvypanache.blogspot.com
The dress needs denim or elastic or something! Cute shoes though! =}
Her shoes are great!
I blame my party-going college life for my first thought: 'walk of shame'. But then I realized that smock/dress is far too long to be a man's shirt (unless she's 4'6", maybe).
great shoes though!
I love the contrast between the shapeless dress and Marni shoes. She definitely pulls this look off.
Is she wearing that as a dress? Or is it just a jacket and she has something else under there? If it's a jacket I think it's great, a nice alternative to a trench coat or some other long coat. If it's a dress it seems like she's swimming in it from this angle. Love the look she's giving you! That jacket and/or dress certainly makes you wish you could see more. Even as a dress two sizes too big, I still think her sexiness effortlessly comes through.
Great color, but that's about it. It looks like it's going to swallow her whole!
She looks like power.
lovely eyes.
really beautiful sexy unforgettable woman... and the beauty spot
She is so pretty and delicate-looking. Wow.
