Comments on "On the Street... Pocket Square & Tee Shirt, Florence"
amazing! my favourite combination of colours. grey, beige and white. a really relaxed look.
Loving this look. Aren't Italian men the best? ;P
Seriously, pretty charming :)
Love his look Scott..
I want his sunglasses!
LOx
I loved the style!
fantastic! I love it.
I'd like to ask you a question because it has so much experience in this fashion.
Is it possible for someone with curves to become known for its style and is also necessary to have a perfect body?
Thank you very much for your blog, I'm a big fan.

love the blazer!
xx http://asianeyedgirl.blogspot.com/
That is a very handsome look. What kind of bracelets are those? That seems to be the surprise in the look.
he is hot! but i just cant wear such things in this really hot overkill weather!
oohh papi!
Hmmf. I guess those Italian men can pull off just about anything! He looks great.
just for this we could leave Paris for Italy!
Nice!
I really love this combinations of a basic item, like the tee, and a fancy one, like the blazer.
S2!

I can totally dig this one! Clean and fresh and handsome too. This is a sophisticated yet casual look that lends itself perfectly for summer.
Very clean, pared down, elegant but yet relaxed and comfortable.
This works great on him! The one thing I would have to say is this would never look good with poor quality pieces-everything has to be top quality to really make it shine.

The perfect summer attire. He's not too shabby either.
i love the jacket and the colors!!!
this makes him look so young!
I use this look sans the pocket square simply because of the weather. I would say that it works, but not sure I would try it. I like that he is wearing it with a cotton jacket, which is also very casual. Jorge from WPB
And it works perfectly!! very classy-fresh summer look
http://fashiondoseblog.blogspot.com/
I like the whole look especially the bracelets. Trying to magnify them..."lol"
Oh, this most definitely works! On a color scale, it's fun to see how these tones are so distant from each other, yet meeting in a happy center.
Lovely!
it really does work
I love the clean colours. Minimal. Fresh and Summery. Lovely.
So cool, and (I see) a bit of Mr Goldblum in him...
simply wonderful!
Wonderful look! Nice colour combination makes his outfit great for summer time, and individual accessories complete the look. I like it a lot :)
he knows how to WERQ the look. :]
fabulous... but what is her wearing on his feet?
Very elegant!

There is nothing more handsome than a man in aviators.
very chic, simple and elegant.
I like the gray tee color combined with the tan of the jacket.

seems like all the men you find have outstanding facial hair...I mean, in my opinion. I guess scruff isn't for everyone.
I agree with everyone, great look. My question is about the material of the pants? I think what pulls this off is the slim, lean cut of everything on a lean, undoubtedly somewhat tall man. Good materials of course don't hurt.
I enjoyed the classy handkerchief on the pocket... specailly the square folding.
I love how the pocket square echoes the colour in the tee. Sort of ties the colours together. The whole thing looks really graceful on him.
I love these bright colors. The buttons form comes back on the pattern of the pocket square. I think the idea works.
ya i LOVE THAT YOU COMMENT ON YOUR PICTURES NOWW!!! yes i love this look. i love how the scarf matches the shirt and the white pants give it such a crisp look

That grey T-shirt, pocket square, and tan jacket is killing it!

what a look! effortless and refreshing!
adoring
He looks dashing!
Why wouldn't a pocket square work?
There is nothing inherently formal/casual about one. They are stylistically neutral, but pack a huge visual wallop!
Without, this outfit would look unfinished, and lose 80% of its pzazz.
There is almost no excuse for NOT wearing a handkerchief or pocket square!!!
This applies to suits, blazers, sportcoats alike.
--John Wesley
Pure fabulosity.
Now this look is me. Sartorialist, how does one concoct the perfect 'I'm eclectic' bracelet ensemble like his? I want to do it, but I feel like I'll choose wrong and look goofy.
www.jasonromaine.com
Great color pallet. I came up with a similar one on my own last summer, but do it with more casual clothes.
pocket square is fine with this look. it's all the stuff around his wrists that takes the whole look down a notch.
He look's like me !
This muted pastel colour scheme works well for this season!
so fresh, so cool! style très épuré, et très smart! Love it!!
I'm agree with you
LOVE!
Florence Vice? Sonny is calling, he wants his look back.
And what about his bracelets? Doesn't he has something what reminds a flower?! looks so nice!
i dont get why a pocket square wouldnt work with a t shirt. sport coats, even double breasted coats, work with t shirts.
the best thing about this look is the contrast between the beges of his outfit and the tan on his skin.
Who is he? :)
so relaxed, so sophisticated, so in love w/Italian men!
HE'S VERY ELEGANT :)
I LOVE MEN WITH BEARD!!!

gorgeous outfit!
Simply great!
GREAT SHOT! and dapper guy!
thanks for sharing!

amazing i just love it :)
the color palate is so calming. his bracelets are amazing and unique-reminds me of the ones i used to make for my friends at camp.

No doubt in my mind... this qualifies as totally rad. I'll have to take a page from his book and try this one out myself.
what really pulls it all together with his muted grays? the wisps of grays in his hair!!!! beautiful photo.
Excited and delighted to see this elegant dresser wearing the official 46664 Bangle on his wrist! Yes, this man is gorgeous, has style, AND he cares about making a difference. Thank you for your support!
I really like his wrist wear.
Perfect. Perfect colors, perfect for the season and perfect accessories. I like a look that seems like maybe the person took an extra 5 minutes of thought, not an extra 45.
I think what makes the pocket square work so well is the relaxed pattern. The first thing that caught my eye though was the bracelets. The bracelets are incredibly eclectic, but look great together with the rest of the outfit.
younggentsguide.blogspot.com
i totally agree!
It really works out; I especially like the colour complements all together.
http://chaoticdesolation.blogspot.com
In Europe there really only two kinds of men, the Italians and those who want to be Italian. :)
love! he looks like a cool guy
http://pieinmypants.blogspot.com/
That´s class!
So suave. Perfect Italian style.
So cool, calm and casually elegant. The light in your photo is divine.
This is a great look! Puts the class in casual.
Mmmm - delicious.... very hot - he looks amazing - laid back and with style.
Is it just me or does this guy look exactly like George Clooney
Such italian perfection, love it. He makes it look so effortless, especially with those bracelets he's wearing. Really cool summer look.

PM
wow. he looks hot! good look.
I feel like this look is perfectly put together except for the unnecessary bracelets around his wrist. They seem way too fussy for the simplicity of the overall look.
this is fantastic. i would never have thought of it myself. classic.
Love this combo of colors, so chic!
www.abitoffashion.com
it's because the guy's got swagger. - nice colour combination too, it's unexpectedly simple and nice, without being boring - the grey t-shirt does it all, any other colour wouldn't be as chic.

I also agree with you. Lovely fit. Lovely pallette.
But SHAVE heaven's sake! His beard makes him look dirty.
Love the jacket.
wow! amazing men!
I love her style and he is very handsome :P
kisses from http://sweetsyte.blogspot.com/
and no one should knock the beard! I think it possibly makes the look as much as the divine jacket x
This outfit is beautifully and thoughtfully put together, well-made, elegant clothes, lovely colour palette etc but what makes it for me is this guys attitude. He seems so relaxed, nonchalant and confident in what he is wearing. If more men, no scrap that, more people could wear there clothes in such a sure-of-themselves way then no one would have a problem being stylish. It is so true that no matter how chic or how trashy ones clothes are, true style is an innate thing that some people possess and some people just don't.
Your blog is so interesting and intelligently written, I am a huge fan. X
i really love this look so rich man i like that.
interesting touch with the bracelets, no?
What caught my eye first was the little leather(?) flower bracelet. Seems oddly girlish, unless I'm missing something here, but it is a brave move for texture and richer browns.
I have no problem with a pocket square and T-shirt. Would like to see it done more, as long as it's with confidence! If your jacket suits a tee, then a pocket square can suit them both.
So this is what relaxed fabulous looks like!
Need a how-to here.
White pants are the rage right now, including white jeans.
But how to wear them without revealing your briefs or more? Thre's always that contrast between flesh and white.
I think the little circles and the collection of all kinds of bracelets, especially the little flower, make it casual enough to be worn with a tee.
Gotta go to Firenze!
love,
szucs
Perfect outfit for a yacht or summer city engagement. I myself would make it a little more edgy with urban style t-shirt under the blazer and vintage jeans with loafers. I love Urban Tees. This look is still official nonetheless. Keep them coming.
It is all about the bracelets. The flower looks like it could be silver from Taxco. Vintage.
However, i always judge a man by his shoes. I bet he's wearing some really good brogues without socks or some faded espadrilles.
A Jacket makes everything look sexy.

Tonal, texture and the elegant attitude. Perfect.
I check in about once a week here and I love that there is so many new images that inspire me for summer. Its going to be a good one!!!

I do wear a lot of white, different fit pants,(work permits), but, to avoid brief lines and visible extra layer of fabric underneath, i do wear cod piece or male G-string in light gray - it works better - white sometimes gives more contrast look, in fine jersey, and this works well in hot weather above 27C, and helps to avoid embarassment going "commando", when you wear tight low cut jeans... - you always are in great shape, and look sharp...
Hope it helps

Perfection! Love this look.

Ah I was just about to say! When one thinks of a pokcet square and a t-shirt it all seems kidn of wrong, yet this gentleman looks perfect and teh whole idea of this pocket square looks like the most natural thing. Must be the color scheme and fabric coordination. Bravo!
love this look...great class
Miami Vice Italian style.Very cool.
great simplicity! and those colors:) Florence<3!!!
The (im)Perfect Harmony
Great look at the gentleman!!
Great look at the gentleman!!
Reallllly great look at the gentleman!!!
great mix of colours
...In other words, don't ever discard a type of ensamble by judging it, on paper.
This man look so simply but the realy is that he is so sofisticated...
This look and man is gorgeous! I worked in a high end men´s clothing store here in Norway for 12 years, and there is nothing like men in good clothes. I love the leather flower bracelet! I am imagining that it belongs to his beautiful Italian wife that had it holding her hair -but took it out for him and gave it to him to "hold".
nicely done. simple and chic

Pure and simple. http://www.PocketSquareZ.com
all is lovely except the T-shirt needs to have more contrast to the jacket.
oh wow , he look so stylish !
You're right.The reality is more perfect(and imaginary)than theory.
I don't know how old is he but looks young and experienced sametime. Very elegant!
Love clair look but I bet for blacj this summer
http://coolneeded.blogspot.com
The MAN looks great, and I do really admire and respect the balance he keeps between masculinity and feminity of particular elements of his outfit: the braclet with flower'y element, the delicate colours of T-shirt, jacket, trousers and almost feminine pattern of pocket - square. All these with his beard, male- face still stays in frame. Chapeu bas!
Totally perfect semi-casual wear! I love that pocket handkerchief, but also those bracelets...I don't normally think men should wear more than a watch on their wrist, but this guy has carried it off, but I suspect he could walk down the street in menswear from the late 17th century all beribboned silk finery and look the epitome of masculinity.
I love his look, the colour of his jacket is just wonderfull
xoxo Sootjeelina <3
this outfit is very cool and chic, but it's the 46664 bracelet that tells us that he is a seriously classy gentleman. 46664 was mandela's jail cell number on robben island. big ups to south africa!
he's dangerously close to being on Miami Vice...
I want him to get a haircut, a long-ish buzz cut would make him look HOT, right now it looks like he is fighting "age" by wearing it grown-out, and it's not working
This is a great look, he successfully pulls off the tee.
I also love how the pattern on his pocket square almost mimics the colour and design of the buttons on his jacket sleeves. Little things like that put a smile on my face.
This parisian he's so italian
vintage Ascher scarves screen printed in London in the 70's make the coolest pocket square
http://www.tallulahandhope.com/blog/the-sartorialist-suggests-a-pocket-square-vintage-ascher-scarves/
The sunglasses and accessories are great too.
I agree about the pocket square, but what caught my eye the most was the gray color. I would never have paired cream, white and gray together, but somehow this look proves me wrong. What a sophisticated combination.
I just love how Italian men wear the very cool and sexy accessories. His outfit is sublime and is hair, beard and sunglasses perfect. He is perfect! So cool and unfettered.
I love this guy. He totally pulls it off. My hubby would scoff if I told him to wear a pocket square in a jacket over a t-shirt, but it really looks great.

Just an amazing look! So fresh, stylish and cool. Love italian man!
oh yes..
the pocket square..the jacket..tee / white pants or jeans or whatever they are..collection of silver & other stuff at his wrist..
aviators..stubble..
yummy..
Wow! Everything about this man is appealing. I would SO love to have drinks and cigarettes with him - and I don't even smoke! :)
i like it very much very stunning
Absolutely perfect...!!!

These are so appealing for a man. There are many more styles though that are attractive.
