What...no helmet? :) Love this shot - not only for the beautiful composition but for the amazing bike and the sheer guts of the rider to team stripes with leopard print. Bravo.
wow fantastic shot...it relax me

I have the same pants like her. From Top shop.
But I've never worn them in that way. Should give it a try :)

Love this...so young and carefree!
This girl is constantly moving. It's a miracle in itself that anyone could capture her in a moment. It would require a magical fairy net.
Love the differing scales of these graphic elements.

stripes and leopard? Why not? She looks nice!
Is that a Raleigh? Because I think I have exactly the same bike. Love her smile.
I love the leopard print pants and they are even cooler when mixed with the stripes. x

Like a France girl (:
Cute
Love the clashing patterns, so effortless looking. Riding a bike wearing clogs? Wow! She's braver than me!
Great outfit, but the pants are the best;)
The(im)Perfect Harmony
Gorgeous picture! I love the stripe / maculato combination..
Love this, but why do they never have helmets? Is there such a thing as a fashionable bike helmet?
great pic, great sunglasses.
Love the shot, but nothing new about the clothes!!

beautiful picture!
and i love her outfits!
she looks great..!
http://nobodyknowsmarc.blogspot.com/
Why is it too cold to be wearing clothes like that here in Europe?!
I like the pattern-combination, and I like the fact that she's not that young but she still looks so youthful in that :)
Realy great! I love the strippes and the animal print mix.
Kisses from Kill the Heel!
she's not waering a helmet. kinda dumb.
Love this look!

I love when chicks ride bikes in heels. It is not an easy thing to do...

OOOOH! I LLLLLLove SPRING STREET!!!! Definitely.
http://teatimedamsbunbury.blogspot.com
I love the contrast of her clothes. Black & White, Stripes & Animal Print, Baggy & Tight. And she makes bunches look uncontrived. Score.
Stripes and prints together are a bit too much for me. Though I do like her over-sized nautical shirt.
This is really cute, love the baggy stripes - but not sure how safe I'd feel cycling in NY with slip on heels and no helmet!
These stripes are everywhere!! i like...aah, spring/summer is here, cant wait to bring my bike out!
Nice mix of stripes and leopard prints! So chic!
http://flashfashfash.blogspot.com
I love the mix. Great!

I love the baggy striped top, with the patterned leggings. But also the carrier basket on her bike, makes her look vintage. And the two ponytails, haven't seen that in a long time...
Beautiful striped top, looks stylish yet comfortable. Very trendy!
Gorgeous photo. Love the bike, the stripy top, the leopard leggings, the sunglasses. Everything.
S.U.N.G.L.A.S.S.E.S.!
Bike away with style everytime!

does anyone else notice that shes wearing clogs haha you go girl
her shoes!
She would have looked better with a matching helmet!!! In NYC?? She is nuts....I would hate to see leopard and striped street pizza if you know what I mean.
For the sake of the young hot too cool to wear a helmet hipsters in our beloved city....print this.
awesome
Love bike photos ... she did a great job with mixing prints.

Jimbo, you're a lucky man. Wonderful photo, beautiful style. - J
She is a blond Audrey Hepburn! so glamorous even cycling
Yes and Yes.x
love this outfit!!
http://loresfashion.blogspot.com
Fantastic! Love the black and white with a bit of red in the background!
This is a great shot. A summary of carefree city living.
what a beautiful jumper and woman :)
The only way I can tell that spring has arrived is all the girls on Sartolialst are on bicycles. I say only...because it's still pretty freezing here in England. Great shot and great print clashes. Heels on a bike is serious dedication to the cause!
http://fashionregardless.blogspot.com/
There's nothing cooler than a girl in heels on a bike!

Holy E-C-L-E-C-T-I-C Batman! I must try this, now!

Finally, someone who's dressed appropriate for biking.
If I wouldn't know better I'd swear this was an Amsterdam girl. Love her comfy and fashionable style.
i love this one
i feel as though she's trying to do too many trends at once... (stripes, animal print, clogs)
to me, it seems a tiny bit much, but if anyone could pull it off, it's this girl! :)
I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
Aw, I love pattern-mashing people :)
Leoprint leggings, clogs and oversize sweater and messy pigtails?! My god I love her look!
This photo captures the essence of a true New Yorker!! I love it!
OMG I LOVE THIS, BUT HEY, I'M A SUCKER FOR ANIMAL PRINTS :-)
Love the print mixing ooh la la!
The leopard print leggings stand out to me the most & i love the unique heels she has on (must be difficult to ride a bike in those!) ...the two ponytail hairstyle is not for her age but she dresses young & trendy so I give her that.
is that Karen Walker stripes and sunglasses?
Love it! Love it! Love it! So urbane and cool.
I would have rather seen black leather brogues with this than... whatever those are that she's wearing. But the rest of the outfit is amazing! I can't believe those two prints go together so well!
Love the mix of patterns.
I'm thinking it's a relaxed take on Isabel Marant FW2010.
That's not spring street! That's the corner of broome and crosby. I live there!
Too old for the pigtails. It makes her look immature.
this chick rocks!!!! i am obsessed with her style. the stripes and print is perfection! this is stunning!!!!
http://laurenlanzaosias.blogspot.com
new celebrity dress up vlog. good times.
those heels!
The pigtails+bike combo makes her seem so happy and carefree (almost childlike?)
LOVE the oversized jumper with the tight animal print leggings!!
(plus it distracts from those terrible shoes).
wish i could pull off pants like that :D
very edie sedgwick
So chic! Two words: Holly Golightly!
This is completely brilliant!
Oh, I can do that and I think I will. Bicyle and heels? I dunno, cross your fingers for me.
I love her clogs!
she has an adorable smile..
http://ranatastic.blogspot.com
Gorgeous. I love your blog btw! All the pictures.. They're spleeeendid!
Desperately Seeking Susan, 2010 style!
Get into the groove... :)
How do you ride a bike in shoes like that?
She looks beautifully relaxed! Love her smile and the huge sunglasses! I adore this urban chic!
Lovely picture, love the different patterns and the shoes. Amazing.

You were talking about inspiration one day - and how the object of the picture was not necessarily something you liked but that you somehow found inspiring.
Sometimes, I think that the inspiration comes from something incidental in a picture, in our lives etc.
Here it is the colours of the buildings on the far left hand side of the picture that I really enjoy. The blue, orange, the green. They caught my eye immediately, especially as the yellow sign on the right balanced them. I am far less keen on the model herself & the intrusive ugly car...
Thanks for sharing, in any case!
Thanks for sharing

lovely!
Her irradiance is fantastic. Simply beautiful.
Eta
She is wonderful.
Aiiii!!!
That's the way I like it, ahaaaa :-)
I just adore poeple (especially women, no clue - why?;) with grace & nonchalance mixed together (= she looks faboulus with this special "touch" of that "special" something = no 2 hours of preparation / thinking / matching / mixing / changing, etc, etc)... Whatever is true, I just think that if the effort is not visible = the look is the best. AMEN
so chicly simply casual relaxed and fun....
Crazy, I love this. A touch of Betsy Johnson here? She is adorable in her outfit, she matches her bike!
Stripes and leopard, quite brave. Don't like it personally, don't see any particular charm or irony in it. Though your photo is, as usual, an artfully composed shot.
http://vanitography.blogspot.com/
i love her bike!
www.brklynview.blogspot.com
Riding on a bike in flats is hard enough!
Excellent shot ;)
Enough with the bikes, Sart. Snap out of it, man. Lose the wheels and she'd be no cooler than 90% of the other citizens of Soho.
I love all about this pic
stripes, animal print :3
leboudoirmonster.blogspot.com/
How could she ride a bike with high heels?
she looks like a hipster version of Audrey Hepburn!
Beautiful! Love the contrast in her outfit and the colors behind her. She looks like she'd be a TON of fun!
I love her, her spirit, her aloof oversized sunglasses and I love love Soho, my hometown hood. I went to NYU and go back here for meetups and dance schooling.
However, I am surprised b/c Soho is not Paris, it's not Florence, where easy pedaling is the norm. You'll get run over by a car or food truck or mass of pedestrians, so seeing her cycling along w/traffic is what shocks me first!
although her shoes and bag and hair are beautiful, she just threw on two trends- nautical and animal print. there are dynamic ways of mixing patterns that aren't incredibly trendy
very holly golightly. love it.
clashing prints, daring :)
you've got lots of people on bikes being green
I love this look, and have found it a total inspiration, though I won't be jumping on my bike wearing clogs any time soon! BTW, is that Karen Walker's balloon stripe top? Sooo want it!
"How could she ride a bike with high heels?"
It's easy. Here's some inspiration for you:

Well, girl.. I love your style! and your blog, it's fascinating.
/ a lots of hugs from Sweden
Just perfect! So simple and cool at same time...
www.cronicasdebaunilha.blogspot.com
over all i just love it. makes me want to get on my bike for something other than exercise. love the pattern mix and the hair. shoes don't inspire me, but so what! she looks like she's having fun! just for fun, can we put electric blue or red or orange mary jane flats w/ this? ooh, yellow....
its like meryl streep in her best day, oh no, she is a bi-cicle? you're a fantastic photographer, and i think that your pictures simply looks so natural but i think it doesn't, i don't know, part of charming i guess,
ixbl
I love the outfit!! :)
80s Kim Gordon!
I love stripes juxtaposed with another print.
http://seeyourstyle.blogspot.com/
when i see your pictures, I start wondering - is she a funny person? what's her job?where is she going? It's saturday?
All of those people is free to dress like their own!!!Of course is NY!!!
True New York City girl. Love.
http://www.inspiredshannon.com
Gorgeous!! She looks so spunky and carefree, I love it!
Hey folks, it's not that hard to ride a bike in heels. I find it easier to cycle in heels than to walk in them, but that might just be my high arches.
Awesome bike, cool-as-hell girl.
Is it Diane Kruger??
Anyway, she looks wonderful...
For those interested in the bike:
It's a Dutch 'Gazelle' ladie's bike, ca. 1980, with Dutch Axa safety lock and British 3-speed Sturmey-Archer hub.
Tyres are Dutch Vredestein Sport DeLuxe.
Shopping basket was optional: if it would have been original, there would be a headlight/dynamo on the loop visible on the front fork.
love this picture, such great effortless style, and the mix of prints is divine !
I have a bike just like this!!!
I ride it to school but a few weeks ago my Mum and Dad realized that I had been riding on perished wheels. Now it has been done up and looks like this!!!
They are the most wonderful bikes to ride on, I can see why she has such a pleasant expression on her face. I do to when I am riding mine!!!
And I always make sure I dress well to compliment the bike...
I really love this photo.
she looks like Julie Delpy in the best way.
